Lisa, on Customer Service, was so helpful and patient. and I really appreciate her help - and expertise. A credit to Waterstones.

Wondered on the status regarding my recent book order, was assisted by Lisa online was extremely polite and helpful, will be ordering again for sure 👍

I loved Waterstones in London and was thrilled that when I moved to Lincoln, there was a Waterstones. I engage much more with this store and love the Remainders; the coffee is excellent, as are the snacks, and I really appreciate the book events. I'm also enjoying the Waterstones App much more than the old card; my last purchase was the Walking Cure, which I'm really enjoying as a walker. On a rainy day, I love hanging out in the cafe with a nice book.

I had enquired about a novel which had been ordered in February, but which I had not yet received, not realising that it was not due to be published until September. The response was very prompt, very helpful and very pleasant. There was a true sense of a correspondence with a real human - which, when an automated response tends to be the norm now, was refreshing and very reassuring.

I prefer using my local store (meadowhall sheffield), but honestly the staff are amazing. Had great recommendations in the past always end up grabbing one extra if they think i'd like it. From today was Pagans by james alistair henry. Can't wait to read it. Keep up the amazing work. Would always recommend waterstones to be the first place to look for a good read!

I queried why I was charged full price for a book bought alongside one with a 'Buy One, Get One Half-Price' sticker. A speedy response from Lisa explained that the offer was restricted to books with the half-price sticker. Lisa will raise my concerns about this being misleading, and, unexpectedly, she awarded me two Waterstone Plus Card stamps.

I had a query and used their email service. Lisa was brilliant, answered my query efficiently and was really helpful.

Lorraine on CS is excellent. I had a question about an edition of a book, and she continuously followed up with the buying team to get an answer back to me as soon as possible.

Prompt and obliging response (by Cecilia) to cancel a double purchase due to an error on my part. The issue was dealt with courteously and efficiently, and I am grateful the consequences of my mistake were corrected so smoothly.

I was at your Peterborough store. Your staff members were fantastic. So helpful and caring. The shop was tidy, clean and well stocked.

I also use the kings lynn store aswell. Both stores are incredible.

A book I ordered was cancelled and refunded onto book tokens I’d already recycled. Fortunately, I emailed with Lisa from customer services who was able to transfer the amount onto a new book token for me. She was very kind and professional—thank you, Lisa!

Incredible customer service. Fast replies and helpful solutions.
The postal service in my country lost my package and they sent me a completely new one without extra pay.

Had difficulty opening the code on my Egift voucher but having contacted Lisa at customer services her support was courteous and exceptional

Brought a copy of the odyssey from the online store. Great book. Recommend it if you’re in to Greek mythology. But my copy had a factory crease in it. The kind people at Waterstones gave me a little refund. Which I wasn’t expecting. The lady was super nice. Thank you again

Lorraine from customer support was fantastic when it looked as if I was not going to receive a book I had ordered for Father’s Day in time due to there being no stock. She sourced the book from another warehouse and had it sent out with 48 hour delivery meaning it was received in time.

Went in store for books.one not in stock.got home ,ordered and paid for on Friday.delivered Saturday.wonderful experience

Battersea Book arrived in very bad condition, payd 40 pounds for a damaged Book sent to Switzerland…

Lisa was very helpful and resolved my issue promptly and correctly. Lisa was very kind and personable and is a credit to Waterstones and is one of the reasons why I prefer to shop with Waterstones than with soulless online marketplaces.
