For once Vodaphone actually employs someone who understands customer care and knows their products. Maddie at Redhill shop is the person you need to see. She has excellent communication skills and understands how to help her clients. Absolutely marvellous. Thank you Maddie

Maddy was really helpful, friendly and clearly knows her job. It was good to deal with her.

Steve was very informative and helped me through my upgrade giving me a great deal.

Both me and my partner are both with Vodafone, have been for many years and have broadband with them too.

I recently upgraded my phone, arranged to collect it from the Vodafone store in Crawley. Was passing the store the next day so popped in to see if it was there on the off chance. Guy who served me did the ID check etc but the phone wasn't there. Not a problem, got a text the next day to say it was there. Popped by to collect it. ID check was passed again and collected my new phone.

Later that evening I dropped my old device in the dark and although I can see where it's gone I can't get to it. The next day was Saturday and we had to go and pick up a few bits in town and were passing a different Vodafone store so I went in to see if I could get a new sim. New sim was scanned etc, went through the iD check again, with the same bank card etc and it FAILED. The girl who served me said it could be a problem with the system so she tried another computer and it failed AGAIN. She then said I couldn't get a sim card because you can't try the ID Check again a third time I'd have to leave it 24 hours even though ALL my details matched including my Vodafone log in, card details account number, address etc etc she still couldn't give me a sim because I might be using a cloned card!!

She then suggested I call customer service to order a sim and they can send me one, great advice when I don't have a sim card, how exactly was I meant to make a call? My partner had gone off to pick up some other bits in town and we aren't always together. The signal isn't great where we live so making calls can be difficult as you get cut off. The broadband works fine from the landline.

She reluctantly called them for me on a shop mobile, and even though I passed all the security checks on the phone she still couldn't give me a sim and I had to wait for one to.be sent.

In this time I couldn't set up every day apps like mobile banking etc and most things need text verification now to make them work. I don't have a local branch and can't access my accounts, even logging in via the website needs text verification! My Dad was overseas, so if he needed me and I wasn't within wifi he couldn't call, if I had car accident or any accident I could call. It makes you realize how much we rely on our phones.

My new sim has arrived and I'm still waiting for it to get activated. Tried to activate it online but you have to.log in on the Vodafone website and you need text verification!! Made contact finally via Tobi after going round in circles I have now now been without a network for a week which might not sound like much but it's the inconvenience of not being able to make contact with anyone until I reach Wifi. I feel completely let down by Vodafone, and if I hadn't just upgraded my phone I'd be switching networks. I would ring them to complain but I can't!!

I had an incredible experience at the Redhill Vodafone branch on Sunday, all thanks to the exemplary service provided by the manager, Steven. From the moment he opened the doors, it was clear that he was committed to helping his customers.

Over the weekend, my phone was stolen, leaving me feeling vulnerable and shocked. I encountered an elderly lady in a similar predicament, who was clearly in distress. She had become trapped in a frustrating cycle while attempting to contact Vodafone customer service from within the store. Steven quickly noticed her plight and sprang into action. He went above and beyond his job responsibilities to override a specific process, ensuring that both of us receive the assistance we required. Steven dedicated an impressive 2 1/2 hours to assist us. His patience, calm demeanour, and willingness to go the extra mile were truly remarkable. Thanks to his efforts, my business was able to continue smoothly, and I avoided what could have been a very challenging week.

I cannot thank Steven enough for his incredible support and dedication. He exemplifies what customer service should be, and Vodafone is fortunate to have such an outstanding manager.
