Virgin Media - Glasgow Buchanan Street Arvostelua 

15/06/26 all of a sudden no internet or tv service. I call VM and spoke to Shreya. No real concern from her just advised of service outage and that was that. Later in the evening still no internet or tv service. Couldn’t get through to speak to anyone so used the chat service, which a was really poor experience with robot then passed to Monisha via chat. I asked what was going on, when would this be resolved and would I be compensated. She advised service outage then stopped chatting with me. All day my VM app had stated no issues. The service checker stating no issues and robot stating no issues but a service outage?? I recently changed over to VM from sky who were getting really bad but VM are on a whole other level of poor. I wish I’d have stayed with sky. Still have no internet or tv services at 20.30 in the evening. 16/06/26- still no internet or tv. Called VM this morning and fobbed off again by Ben who also can’t discuss compensation but did confirm that there is a service outage despite all apps and service checkers telling me no issues. He gave me another number to call and when I call it’s just the same VM number you call for any issues. Why would anyone want to join VM after reading Trustpilot reviews? That’s what I should have done . Following my trust pilot review VM have responded to it to make it look like they care. They don’t. Beware!

From beginning to the end of our dialogue my wife and i were delighted with the service provided by Marianne from Kilsyth on behalf of Virgin Media. An extremely knowledgeable, articulate, friendly and welcoming member of staff.

Please don’t ever use virgin media. Trying to explain anything to them is absolutely ridiculous. My elderly mother in law who lives on her own has paid £70 a month for years to watch one Chanel stv ( this is all she would watch ) no internet nothing. I phoned them 2 years ago to complain what she was paying .. the lady I spoke with said if you took over the account you’d be a new customer so would get a better deal ,great ..so I took over the account for her and got the price down to £35 ( with internet ) She’s been unwell for the last 4 months with pneumonia and is now moved to a care home on end of life care. We continued to pay all these months although nothing was used. I’ve phoned this morning to cancel and explain she’s dying.They told me i need to keep the account ?? because it’s in my name even though I don’t stay at the address?? ( it’s a council house ) or they want £736. Early termination fee ..how they get away with how they treat people I will never understand Please avoid !!!!!!!!!
