Virginia Hotel Samos Arvostelua 

They say it's renovated. It's absolutely not. The room was old and dirty. There are way better places to spend your money. The hotel ruined a big part of our vacation.

Update, reaction to owner because I know you will react to every one of my reviews the same way: the information is not misleading and I do not have to put out my full name on here. You published our full names on another website which is violation of privacy. Guests like myself have the right to put out our personal experience at your so called hotel. Threatening a bad but real review with legal action (on TripAdvisor) will not help and makes you look like a fool. Accept the bad review and do better. We had no choice but to stay at your place considering we have paid for it and the traveling agency sadly did not take our complaint serious enough to move us to a different hotel and only came to visit at the end of the vacation. You can post as many fake good reviews after this one and on other sites as you want, but it's not plausible for the readers and future guests. This shows how unprofessional you are.

I don't recommend this hotel to anyone. This is how they will treat you.

On arrival at the hotel the room was not clean. Fridge full of mold, moldy shower head, no shower curtain, hair and other grime from previous guests on the floors. After reporting to the reception, the room was 'cleaned' again, but then the room was still not clean: stains (blood stains?) on all doors and doorposts, yellow urine stains on the wall near the toilet, light switches and sockets that have been not been cleaned for years and are yellow/brown, stains on the bed and matress, clogged shower drain and no shower curtain, so the bathroom was always soaking wet. After another cleaning, everything was still not clean: so I cleaned the remaining stains myself. Scandalous. After 5 days or so, got a shower curtain that hangs a meter above the ground, making it worthless. The cleaning was lazy (no vacuuming) and the remaining stains were never cleaned and we got to keep the stinky fridge with mold that could not be wiped off and drain was still clogged at most days. The cleaners can't see when something is dirty or are Just lazy. In addition, the photos on the website are very misleading: nice room and bathroom photos, but in reality we got a dirty and heavily outdated room with old and broken furniture and a mini bathroom of 2 square meters where it is not possible to take a decent shower. Parking area at this hotel is also very bad: you have to park your rental car in a car graveyard (unpaved and full of abandoned and dilapidated cars) behind the hotel, not a pleasant thought. Room is very noisy, you can literally hear everything in the hallway and the rooms next door. No promised live music. No promised live music. No one present at the reception in the morning before 9. The breakfast is very very basic and has no variety. This was actually the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. In short, I absolutely DO NOT recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff only 10min away from the city center. Our room was nice and very clean. It has a small pool on the roof with amazing views over Samos bay.
