My fave make up brand - love it so much
Not a big fan of new poutder lipstick but that’s a personal preference

I must say I am quite disappointed by the vieve complexion balm, I have been a fan of Jamie and her makeup for a long time since the beginning of her youtube days, however this skin tint really disappoints. No longevity when wearing it to the office, leaves a sticky film on the skin that shines so much that even accidentally touching your face with your hand leaves a sticky thick film on the hand along with colour coming off very easily, it feels like it stays on top of the skin, and it smells like a lot of essential oils. I know she used to like the green weleeda cream and so did I, and she probably wanted to create something just like that but tinted, hence I think the strong smell of essential oils, but unfortunately to me it is a flop, and considering I’ve tried makeup forever skin tints and the maybelline one, I think the maybelline one is much better when having a glowy base on as it stays on so much more, doesn’t need to be powdered down every hour (and I’m usually the person that wants to have the wettest lookig face, so you can imagine how heavy that is), most importantly it stays on, and you can actually touch your face or give a colleague a hug without leaving grease all over their shoulder. Very sad about this and I do feel like it was a waste of money, not what I expected, I use a different brand of a setting spray but it shouldn’t be the case that you need to use all of her products for it to last all day (as she claimed in her video applying it). Yes, it looks nice on the skin for the first hour, but that’s about it. Complextion balm or not, it shouldn’t come off so quickly. PS neither of the competiting brands broke me out, and since I started using vieve complexion balm I feel like I’m getting breakouts on my cheeks, as if it was stopping my pores from breathing, and I did not use a different base than usual (i use serums interchangeably and the glow recipe watermelon moisturiser). Not saying her product was the reason for my breakouts, but worth mentioning (My skin is 29 years old)

Amazing products created by a fantastic makeup artist. Everyone needs to try out Vieve. Have ordered from them a few times now. And it was only the last one of the product came broken but customer support were so helpful and truly the lovelies people.

I’m really, really disappointed with how Vieve have handled a recent query of mine.

Being a loyal customer since their launch 3+ years ago and having every product from their line in my kit, recommending them to everyone who chats make up with me, I’ve been left with a really upsetting taste in my mouth.

When Vieve launched their brushes I was so excited because I knew JG wouldn’t release anything other than sterling quality products and as such, have gradually added each brush from their collection to my kit over the years.

At the weekend, the handle of my 117 foundation brush came apart from the paint and it peeling right off. I sent photographs to Vieve and they’ve offered me 500 Vieve society points (this equates to c.£5 to spend on a selection of Vieve merch) when the cost price of the brush is £27. The reasoning for this was that because I had purchased through a third party (Space NK - hardly a third party when it’s actually one of their partnered retailers) who have a 28 day returns policy and this brush was purchased in September, so Space NK correctly directed me to Vieve as it’s a faulty item issue.

I honestly thought loyalty to a brand and what I would call a ‘local business’ being from Glasgow, would mean more to them than profit but unfortunately this loyalty appears to only be one sided.

Left 2 stars because actually the quality of their actual cosmetics are second to none therefore 1 star is absolutely not justified, however the service has been upsetting.

I am sure the company's products are amazing, I love the brand however I am unsure really because I am yet to receive any products. Customer service seems almost non existent unfortunately. I paid for express shipping, had a timeslot and day for the delivery so made sure I stayed home and it never arrived. Waited in next day, also never arrived, I cannot stay in a third day so who knows when it will come. The order does seem to be at the hands of Royal Mail (terrible courier choice btw) which I know is not directly Vieve's fault for the delay but it should be up to the seller to track their express shipments and ensure they are actually getting delivered and then liaise with Royal Mail themselves.

When I finally got a very generic reply from Vieve (only the 1 response), there was not even any mention of having the shipping cost refunded to me and basically they told me to continue tracking it myself on Royal mails website.

Not a great service at all really.

I have been obsessing about their products for a long time and was so eager to try, this is such a disappointment.

Order placed Sunday and goods not despatched until Thursday. That’s a long time compared to other companies.

Literally the most insane makeup company I have used. Gorgeous packaging and all the products I have used, which is most, are amazing quality and great for my skin!!

Amazing products, being getting so many questions on my glowing make up and lipstick colour, I would highly recommend these products to all. Staff were amazing and so helpful at the Glasgow pop up shop this year and I will be back to stock up before it leaves.

Skin nova is the best primer. It’s great even as a base in its own

For someone who doesn't wear make up often and gets intimidated by it. Vieve has made it so accessible and easy to use. Love all the products but the mascara has to be the best I've used by far.

Lost parcel, it happens but the speed in which i got my replacement ordered and how i was handled was amazing. Great job and happy customer.

Best mascara I’ve ever used, has castor oil in there and I can definitely see a big difference in my lashes!
The brat lipliner with satin slip lipstick in silk sheets is my go to combo and it doesn’t budge!

Constantly getting compliments on my makeup recently. Both on how flawless and beautiful it looks, and how long it is lasting. Can only thank Vieve for all of their amazing products and tutorials.

Super new to this brand.. packing and softness of the base powder is perfect for what I was after. Bought in Space NK so had a chance to really look at the product.
However, powder in pallets is so soft (which was the pull for my entice skin) it all just crumbles away in the pallet . Bought yesterday, used twice and it’s disintegrating already. I wanted to take on holiday with me but I don’t think it’ll last the journey. Such a shame. It was immaculate when I opened and coverage is lovely but a waste of money if it crumbles so easily.

I fell in love with this brand this year after purchasing a mini set and I slowly bought a bit of everything in their range. I can safely say it is now one of my favorite brands ever for both the aesthetics and the formulas.
Obviously, not everything is perfect, in my opinion, so I can't give it 5 full stars, but I'll try to give you my main pros and cons.

PROS:
- Beautiful formulas that suit my skin both in summer when I sweat a lot and in winter when I'm a dried up prune. Honestly I would reccomend the brand just for their wonderful blendable and versatile formulas;
- Overall good value for money as a lot of the products come in hefty quantities (the cream bronzer, the powder eyeshadows, the blushes);
- Great customer service. I didn't need major help, but I've had some minor issues and Jack specifically has always replied promptly (often within the day) and kindly;
- Good reward point system. They give you lots of points per purchase and per review, but they do limit the reviews to one per month (which is a con to me);
- Bathleisure range smells phenomenal (as do the makeup products) and feel amazing on the skin... VIEVE I'M WAITING ON THE PERFUME PLS???
- Color selections are spot on, albeit a bit limited. Wonderful core lipstick & lipliner range, the shades for the blushes and bronzer (though limited) are well curated for everyday use, shades in palettes are generally well balanced. Overall chef's kiss colors seleciton;
- The travel makeup bags are the best ones I've ever tried. The quality on those is through the roof and the price is just right.

CONS:
- I'm not sure the LUXE decription fits the packaging quality. Though extremely beautiful to look at (it's one of the most beautifully presented brands I've ever seen), the packaging most times feels very lightweight and cheap. The lipsticks hold no weight to them, the lid of the bronzer is the lightest plastic ever, the pencils feel empty compared to other brands they're so lightweight... The only ones I'm a little more wow'd by is the blush and palette that do feel like they have a little more substance to them, even though the palette ripped at the corner after one week using the lid as a mirror the same way Jamie does... The formulas are still worth it though, so I will most likely keep repurchasing a lot of the products (possibly on sale);
- As mentioned above, you get rewarded points for only one review per month, which is a bit limiting and doesn't encourage posting reviews imo;
- Some of my lipsticks break at the base and get all smushed on the side while using, which is admittedly annoying, so maybe a thicker lipstick mold would make them more stable?
- The shimmer shadows are bland and dry, they don't offer a metallic sheen or a sparkle, but luckily they're only 30% of the big palettes... and the mattes blend like a dream.
- I wish blushes and lipsticks came in a refillable case as well, that would be chef's kiss.

Overall, would I suggest this brand? Yes, absolutely.
My criticism is mostly constructive (if the brand wants more details or feedback on other products, I'm available!), but as I said this is one of my favorite brands and I will continueto use it and purchase when I run out of products, but it definitely could improve in some areas.

Products always arrive well packaged. I have a few Lip Dews, which I LOVE. Rosa is my favourite!! Malbec blush is beautiful, a little goes a long way. Rosa Lip and Cheek duo is gorgeous and is buildable too. Ordered the mini skin dew which is great for taking away on holiday.
