Don't buy ticket from Vienna Ticket Office!

This is what happened to me. On March I pre-booked two ticket for the Scala di Milano Theater, as a gift for my partner who wanted to see Le Nozze di Figaro Opera on October. I payed 146.00 EUR each (120,00 EUR plus the Ticket Office fee) for a amount of 292,00 EUR that I payed immediately by credit card. I did not have the chance to choice the seats, I could just select the category of the Theatre seats (I choose "D"). I did not received any warning or information about the category I selected: when I booked the ticket there were a lot of free seats and I could freely choose - I pre-booked the tickets 8 months before the representation date. The last week I finally received the two tickets... in two different Theatre areas. Me and my partner are not togheter at all: we are in two differtent dais. This is the answer I get from the Vienna Ticket Office help desk when I ask to change one of the seat: "it is not possible to change your tickets. In category D, there are only single seats available, no seats together." But they did not advise me when I payed almost 300,00 EUR to buy 2 tickets - that everybody intends togheter - 8 months earlier. I tried to change one of the ticket directly on the Scala Ticket Office, and they told me to do not buy tickets form organization like Vienna Ticket Office, that are not authorized resellers. I hope that my negative experience could be useful for you!

Ich habe Karten f.d. Passionsspiele 2016 bestellt. Im Bestät.mail wurde zuerst geschrieben, dass einige Veranstalter die Karten erst ca. 1 Monat vor d. Veranstalt. versenden. Im nä. Satz wurde ich hingewiesen, dass ich auf ein neutrales Kuvert per Post versendet in den nä. Tagen achten soll?! Eine genauere Lieferzeit wäre als Kundenservice hilfreicher, zumal die Kosten bereits via Kreditkarte natürlich schon abgebucht sind.

Ich habe mehrfach Ihren Dienst in Anspruch genommen, sowohl telefonisch aus Deutschland wie auch bei meinen persönlichen Besuchen auf der Kärntnerstr. 51. Ich bin mit Ihrem Service äußerst zufrieden.
Eine Frage hätte ich noch: Am 7. Oktober 2014 wollte ich mit einem bei Ihnen erworbenen e-Ticket die Aufführung von "sarajewo" besuchen und wollte mir am Morgen die Arte holen. Es gab Schwierigkeiten, was die Akzeptanz des e-Tickelts betraf. Nach etlichen Telefongesprächen wurde das Ticket anerkannt. Wie steht es neben Staats- und Volksoper mit Besuchen in den Wiener Theatern aus?

Das Ticketangebot ist weit gestreut und für jeden Musikgeschmack was dabei. Die bestellten Karten wurden prompt geliefert. Mehr kann man nicht erwarten.

I found the Vienna Card fantastic Value. I was travelling with my 14 year old daughter and after we saw the main sights that we wanted to I left it up to her to seek out the "freebies" and we had a lot of fun with it. Could recommend to any traveller visiting Vienna!

We received a personal phone call from Thomas, because we had a communication glitch and did not receive our confirmation. After the fact we learned that the icloud had messed up or computers and iphones. We appreciated the personal response and look forward to our time in Vienna in August.

This site was recommended by the travel company I'll be traveling with this Fall. I had a flawless experience twice with Vienna Ticket Office. The online notifications assured me they were a legitimate company, and the tickets arrived in the U.S. as communicated. I was pleased.

Since I haven´t travelled yet to Vienna I can´t give a complete opinion of my purchase. I would like to see if I will have issues attending the event.

schnell - unkompliziert

20% vom Ticketpreis nochmal als Bearbeitungsgebühr draufschlagen ist schon ziemlich viel. Dazu gibts es nur Kategorie- aber keine Sitzplatzwahl. Auch können ausgebuchte Vorstellungen gebucht werden, wo dann die Hiobsbotschaft die Vorfreude wieder wegrafft. Das Service ist sehr gut, habe schon mehrmals da gebucht, aber ich finde es zu teuer und die IT-Umsetzung der Onlinebuchung ist mehr als schwach.

Alles hat super geklappt. Konnte mein Ticket wie vereinbart an der Abendkasse abholen.
