Vickers HiFi Arvostelua

Ordered a pair of Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 AE headphones. Vickers Hifi gave me a pair at an excellent price and were very customer friendly as you can call them direct instead of having to go through robots. Well done.

I eventually took the dive and purchased the origin live resolution mk5 turntable, with the Conqueror arm and Ortofon Cadenza black moving coil cartridge. After visiting a few dealers and going to some hi fi exhibitions. I narrowed down my selection the favourite being the origin live. Eventually I did the purchase on Vickers easy to use web site.i spoke to them a few times and the people I spoke to were very polite and helpful I must mention David in particular.
The turtable arrived and I took my time setting it up accurately. I have now had a nearly a terrific year with this wonderful piece of audio equipment, I know I am fortunate to afford such a piece of equipment. But if my review helps anyone that is great news.Vickers were terrific, well informed and helpful purchase.As far as the Turntable is concerned, the Origin replaced my old Michell orbe which is a great turntable, but this origin is just so much more clear,open and detailed. I should think some far more expensive turntable manufacturers are looking over their shoulders wondering how origin created such a beautiful sounding turntable. I know this is more than many people would spend on a turntable, but once lived with and set up in a good system it should satisfy you for quite a few years. I put on vinyl I may not have heard for many years and I sit back with a large grin on my face usually.i have been building up to this system for 40 odd years and the origin live resolution is the icing on the cake.

After Royal Mail said they delivered my parcel with a phantom signature David was quick to get on there case and sent me a rapid replacement , absolute 10/10 5 star company who will be my go to for my future hifi needs! Excellent!:)

I would like to take this opportunity to thank David at Vickers HiFi for outstanding service. David was extremely helpful regarding my purchase of two Cyrus Mono X 300 Signature power amplifiers (mono blocks) Unbelievable improvement over normal power amps the difference is staggering.

He also suggested because I already a Cyrus Pre-XR it would for a small price to have the case changed to Phantom black to match the rest of my new setup.
So pleased I did looks and sounds stunning it was also suggested to change from a cheaper XLR to the Chord XLR Signature Tuned Array.
Glad I did it has brought unbelievable clarity to the system expensive (yes) but worth every penny.
Summing up thanks very much for sterling service and professional advice.

I noticed a product for sale on eBay, contacted them directly, and asked how they would like me make my purchase, I was told there website, probably better for them, and myself. My Arcam Musicboost for the iPhone 6/6s was received a few days later. A bargain price, a fantastic product. The DAC takes the iPhone music to a different level. It is a shame that the product is not available for other iPhones, a bargain price for something that was originally £129 for less than £30. A bargain along with excellent service! Thank you!

I have visited Vickers several times in the last few years to see what my next HiFi upgrade might include, listened to some speakers and chatted to David and learned a few things. Lockdown ended those visits but I did buy an amplifier on line, which arrived very quickly and safely - excellent.
Fast forward a few months and I decided to explore new speakers to go with the amp so phoned and arranged an appointment to review the new JBL L52s. We arrived on time and spent a very enjoyable hour listening (with the same amp too) to the JBLs, exploring some alternatives, talking music and HiFi. The demo was excellent and the JBLs really appealed to us so we bought them and they are entertaining superbly as I type. A very enjoyable and successful experience - many thanks!

Bought a Marantz CD12/DA12 from their Ebay listing. Advertised as "Rare, 1 in 100 player in excellent condition".
They assured me that it would be suitably packed.
The photo of what arrived is on Google review.
They treated it like a heap of potatoes.
28KG of rare vintage player packed with no protection in a flimsy box, such that the box was splitting open on arrival.
Player was scratched by its own plug and won't open the drawer. Unsurprisingly as there was zero impact protect.
Player and customer treated with complete contempt.

Visited their store to find that it is shut. Website invites customers to visit, and said nothing about closing. They’ve since responded to this review to say they open by appointment but there was nothing on the website or outside the closed store to say this. Wasted 30 mile journey.

First class service. Was a bit confused by their website at first as there was no "add to basket" option for the item I wanted. Emailed them and received a call from Mr Vickers himself. Did the necessary over the phone and received fast (free) delivery via DHL. Recommended!

Bought a QUAD streaming system plus speakers. Assisted at every stage. Good online hi fi dealer that will never mind speaking over the phone rather than doing everything online...the human touch?

Just bought a Marantz CD player from Vickers - being technically ignorant, I greatly valued their friendly, helpful approach and also the very rapid delivery of the player - whose performance is excellent.
