No customer service! No replies to emails after order was wrong. Ordered 500g of sliced pepperfoni, received a sourdough pizza not even on their website! After being a long time customer, the quality dipped and I stopped purchasing from Vbites but decided to give them another go recently. A shame but sadly not impressed.

I’ve ordered from VBites several times and Customer Services has always been great. Recently when a particular item wasn’t in stock they called to tell me and offered to refund shipping on my next order so I wasn’t out of pocket. All good.

I’ve tried ordering from VBites twice now. The first time was through an external retailer (AlternativeStores) and the entire delivery arrived already thawed. I decided to give VBites another chance by ordering directly from their website, but the same thing happened again.

My second order arrived completely warm, with melted ice across the packaging. One of the items had burst open and leaked crumbs all over the freezer bag. The products were not in a safe condition to eat and had to be thrown away.

I contacted customer service and received a generic response that didn’t address the issue. Even after explaining that the food arrived warm and damaged, their follow-up reply still didn’t acknowledge the food safety concern or offer a straightforward resolution.

It’s disappointing, especially for a vegan brand where customer trust is important. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I can’t recommend ordering from them, particularly for frozen products that rely on a working cold chain.

Their courier said the order was delayed after a 9-12 a.m. delivery slot to three days later, so we went out. Needless to say it was then delivered - all thawed!!! I had emailed Vbites earlier in the day but they never bothered to reply. Awful company.

Everything arrived already defrosted and they would not refund. They used a different company to send it out than they said they would.

This is a genuine, honest review about V-Bites (the new incarnation - the last one went BUST and I expect the latest version will follow suit in the very near future, especially considering their shockingly dreadful excuse for customer 'service') the vegan food company.

BEWARE! Their Customer Service STINKS and you are AT RISK of LOSING YOUR MONEY!

I placed an order late one night (after business hours) but there was no way to choose a delivery date or tell them which dates to avoid (due to being away).

So, I emailed them immediately afterwards (within a few minutes) to inform them I was currently away from home and that they should not dispatch until I was back, (as this is frozen food that needs to be delivered within 24 hours otherwise it will perish and be unsafe to eat).

Their quoted delivery time for free standard delivery was 2-4 Business Days, which considering they received my order on a Thursday and do not deliver on Mondays, should have meant the delivery would be Tuesday - Thursday, (and all I was simply asking them to do was not delivery any earlier than Wednesday).

HOWEVER, they COMPLETELY IGNORED my email regarding being away from home & dispatched my order the same day they received it, (Thursday), for delivery the next day, Friday when I was AWAY FROM HOME!

Their DHL courier stated they would leave the parcel unattended or with neighbours if there was no one in (which there wouldn't be as I was in a different part of the country), which meant the food would be PERISHED and unsafe to eat long before I got back home to put it in the freezer)!

This all caused a huge amount of anxiety, distress, worry & frustration, (I have mental health disabilities which make things worse for me).

So, I contacted V-Bites immediately and told them to CANCEL THE ORDER, get the courier to return it back to them ASAP before it perished), and REFUND ME!

I explained that I have mental health disabilities and V-Bites had directly caused damage to my health & wellbeing through their ignorant, unprofessional & discriminatory so-called 'service'.

I made very clear that I was CANCELLING THE ORDER with immediate effect and wanted & needed my money back ASAP (I had scrimped & saved to scrape enough money to place the order as I am on a low-income due to disabilities and cancer).

HOWEVER, V-Bites has SHAMEFULLY chosen to IGNORE what I have told them by email, (AGAIN after ignoring the simple information about being away from home), and the order containing the SUSPECT FOOD, (which has either been hanging around within DHL or been back & forward between them & V-Bites), is apparently on the way CONTRARY to my CANCELLATION and clear, simple instructions.

V-Bites are doing everything they can to KEEP MY MONEY, totally UNCARING toward the FURTHER DAMAGE they are inflicting upon a disabled, vulnerable person!

So, now I will have to go to my Bank to request they process a CHARGEBACK to get my money back from this grossly incompetent, ignorant, irresponsible, unprofessional, uncaring 'rogue' trading company* that I expect will soon be insolvent, AGAIN!

*I see from recent reviews that I am not alone in suffering this SHOCKINGLY POOR service; food that is UNFIT for human consumption; and REFUSAL to REFUND money they have pretty much taken under false pretences, (which some people might call a scam)?

I am IN DESPAIR and TRAUMATISED by V-Bites and want NOTHING FURTHER do do with them ever again!

BEWARE trusting this appalling company with your hard-earned money, which you may well never see again as I suspect they are CLOSE TO GOING BUST (again) in which case you won't receive any goods, (not even perished food unfit for human consumption), and won't get a refund - LAST TIME THEY WENT BUST I lost nearly £70 just before Christmas, (which I have never seen a penny of, despite registering with the Administrators as being owed a refund for goods they failed to send)!

When they go BUST AGAIN - which can't be far off judging by their unprofessional behaviours (no one to read emails - no one to answer the phone; I tried multiple times - it just rang & rang) and long-running clearance sale, you will LOSE YOUR MONEY, so PLEASE THINK CAREFULLY about the RISK to your finances and to your health & wellbeing with dealing with this UNCARING company which I believe poses a danger to the health & wellbeing of disabled & vulnerable people!

Father in law placed an order for both of us, which arrived after sitting in a warehouse for 5 days - all defrosted and inedible. V Bites has refused to refund!! That is against the law. Disgusting behaviour - will never be ordering from this incompetent and irresponsible company again.

Ordered 10 packs of the vegan rashers, which are my favourite rasher, they taste and hold together far better than many of the other rashers on the market, the service was excellent and the delivery was very fast, thanks for a great shopping experience

Their vegan cranberry cheese is disgusting, but it did arrive very quickly! If you're looking for a Wensleydale, avoid!!

My delivery did not arrive so I contacted vbites by email and was told that they had issues with their local courier. I then waited another week for goods to be delivered and discovered that 2 items were missing. I again contacted vbites to be told that the items were out of stock and I would get a refund in 10 days. I was charged £6.99 for postage.
Totally gutted by the lack of communication to the customer and the cheek of them still charging me for postage!! I've happily used this company for years but I fear that they are on a downward slope regarding customer service. Definitely will be going elsewhere which I find rather sad.

Great company when ordering you get a free item evetime you order,plus the delivery is great as its very prompt and packaged well.☺️👍👍👍

Their courier lost my £40 order and the customer respnse is zero. The date I have provided is approximate but i have given them exact details

So glad they're back in business - ordered recently and wish I'd bought more - best vegan pate you can buy anywhere and it's all gone already! And the gammon roast is as lovely as always.

I was incredibly excited when I found out last month that vbites had vegan yorkshire puddings for sale (I had signed up for the mailing list in anticipation of this) and so put in an order. As the minimum spend is £30, I added on to the order accordingly. A couple of days later, I received a package from vbites containing part of the order (I hadn't had any notification from vbites; just something from the courier) with some random items I hadn't ordered. NO YORKSHIRE PUDDINGS! I emailed vbites on 28/3; no response. I then received a refund for the items I hadn't received. Checked the website and the items were still for sale so I couldn't understand why they had refunded me - emailed again but, again, no response. The upshot is I have paid £6.95 p&p for some fake chicken bites and a pack of vegan cheese and have not received what we made the order for in the first place. How disappointing.

Good products but poor customer care. Delivery one item missing. Contacted twice - no reply! Disappointed

Just received phone call from VBites/Customer Services. Refund++ made. Very pleased - all resolved. Thank you - Lianne. Will continue to order from!

I ordered food for Christmas but 3 items were short dated and only had 11 days before expiry on 20.12.22. Vbites would not do anything about it. They fobbed me off with putting in freezer beyond expiry.

In trying to prepare for Xmas early I ordered a roast and some other bits to make up the order to the 15 pounds required. Their system allowed me to order products that were not in stock. In fact it was the roast that was not in stock, the one item that I really wanted. Rather than telling me an item was not in stock and giving me an option about my order they simply dispatched it. Unpacking the parcel I was in a panic wondering if I had not ordered what I thought I had ordered, or if they had forgotten to include the roast, the key element of my order. It was only when I pulled out the packing note with the roast crossed out on the paper, that I discovered it wasn't in stock...I won't ever buy from them again.

I have an approximately 80% plant based diet, I recently bought a pack of your Vdeli rashers, unfortunately they were absolutely disgusting, I’ve tried other makes of plant based rashers with a much better taste and texture. 🙈🙈

Received my order today and am delighted with the service, packaging and the products I have eaten today so far (garlic vegan sausage and pate). I have had VBites products before so know the quality I am getting. Thank you VBites for eas of ordering, fast delivery and delicious products. (And very reasonably priced too).
