Urbanears Arvostelua 81

Today I tried to pair a brand new pair of Urbanears Boo Tip and to my disappointment only the right side worked. 
The left side is mute.. not recommended.
My previous pair also worked for just 5 months before making troubles.

Heb lang heel fijn muziek geluisterd met de producten van urbanears maar met mijn laatste oortjes ontstond een probleem, het linkeroortje werkt niet meer. Krijg al maanden geen contact met de klantenservice, heb nu vervangende oortjes besteld maar bij deze ontstaat hetzelfde probleem. Ik kan ze niet terugsturen want er is geen enkele manier om contact op te nemen met de klantenservice. Het online formulier geeft een error, de chat is nooit beschikbaar en op een mail naar de press afdeling, het enige beschikbare mailadres, wordt niet gereageerd.

Ich habe die Kopfhörer jetzt seit einem Jahr und war bis jetzt zufrieden, aber jetzt lädt die eine Seite der Charging Box nicht mehr und ich kann die Kopfhörer nicht mehr verwenden. Ich wollte dem Kundensupport schreiben und jedes Mal als ich auf senden geklickt habe ist auf einmal eine Fehlermeldung gekommen. Fühl mich ein bisschen verarscht tbh.

I haven't received my replacement order after they lost my parcel.
I have no news from the customer service for over a week.
I will not purchase again from their company. We can't trust the service.

Pampas headphones: marketed as premium, built like disposable trash. After only a handful of careful uses (stored in my office, never exposed to sweat, gym, never inside backpack (they don't provide a pouch), never exposed to outdoor conditions), the earbuds and headband material began to rot and disintegrate. Now, every time I use them, I’m left with black crumbs all over my head — a constant reminder of the money I wasted.
The company’s response? Denial. I contacted customer support detailing the issue with photos attached. After more than 10 email exchanges, the company refused to acknowledge a material defect and subsequently closed the case without providing a resolution or refund.
This experience indicates poor product quality and unsatisfactory customer service.

They constantly think I'm pausing or unpacking what I'm listening to. They seem to think my hair is me pressing them or even a gust of wind on multiple occasions. It's constant and it won't stop even if I take that earphone out (as it's only one of them). Utterly useless when I'm trying to listen to something I can't get more than 15 seconds in without it pausing and unpausing

Urbanears Boo, bästa biliga hörlurar jag hade. Köpt för halva priset och fungerar som förväntat.

Som många skriver. B- produkt. Inte värt att betala mindre när skiten bara strular.

Kopplar ifrån, fungerar ibland ibland inte.

Literally crap, wont even last you 3 months. Poor sound, poor call quality, just a waste of money.

I purchased the Zinken headphones to replace a Plattan pair I had for a while in January and they held up well until one of the adjustment sliders broke in November. Emailed customer service and they sent me a new pair at no charge as it was still under warranty. The old ones are actually still somewhat usable, and I figure I can probably super glue the slider back together at some point. I like Urbanears because they sound good to my ears, and I appreciate that the company is environmentally conscious. Using more metal components in the construction would definitely improve durability of these headphones, but the minimalist design does make it easier to prolong the life of the product. Overall a decent pair of headphones and great customer support!

After a few weeks they stopped connecting to each other. I can listen at half volume in either ear but not both. A waste of money! Expensive crap!!! Don't bother.

WARNING! Do not buy them! I got the Urbanears Boo as a gift, and after 9 months the right earpiece stopped working. Factory resetted it multiple times, cleaning, decoupling, nothing worked. Went straight to the trash, a fitting ending since it is literally made by trash.

Bloß die Finger weg! Ich habe die Kopfhörer am 28.8.23 gekauft und war bis letzte Woche noch zufrieden. Am Freitag habe ich dann festgestellt, dass die Ear Cushions (also die weichen Polster) sich auf beiden Seiten auflösen. Und das genau 1 Woche nach Ablauf der 1-Jahres-Garantie. Und dabei war ich von diesem 1 Jahr 4,5 Monate auf Reisen und hatte die Kopfhörer garnicht dabei.
Hatte heute versucht die Polster nachzuordern. Sind ausverkauft, und das scheinbar überall.
Soll ich die Köpfhörer jetzt wegwerfen? Was für eine Verschwendung von Ressourcen, da sie ja technisch funktionieren!
Eins ist klar: keine Marshall-Produkte mehr.
Dabei spielt mein Mann Gitarre und hat noch nen alten Marshall-Verstärker, der nicht tot zu kriegen ist.

UPDATE: der Service von Urbanears hat mir geschrieben: „da die Headsets ja meist mit dem Mobilphone genutzt und in Taschen verstaut werden, ist es ganz natürlich, dass die ear-pads dadurch kaputt gehen.“
Ich konnte es mit nicht verkneifen, hier auf die ökologische Schiene zu verweisen, eingebaute Obsoleszenz als Geschäftmodell und mehr Umsatz zu generieren. Voll daneben.

Order Nummer UENL00444536 // Ich muss mich zusammenreißen, weil mich die Angelegenheit so aufregt. Inzwischen sind es die 2. Kopfhörer - Urbanears. Die Qualität ist reinste Katastrophe. Ein Kopfhörer funktioniert überhaut nicht mehr. NULL Funktion nach nur 0,75 Jahren. LEUTE gehts noch. Was für ein Müll produziert ihr.

Schlimmer ist der Kontakt zur Garantieabwicklung. Den gibt es schlicht weg nicht. Note 6 wäre ein Kompliment. Nie wieder.

UPDATE 18.07.2024: Nach 3 harter Kampf mit unzähligen E-Mail sind Ersatzkopfhörer eingetroffen. Was soll ich sagen?! AUCH die sind defekt.
Katastrophe. Inzwischen sind das die 3. Kopfhörer des gleichen Typs. Ich will mein Geld aus Kaufvertrag zurück. Klare Sache. Die Firma weigert sich und antwortet nicht mehr.

I bought the BOO headphones today, but have been disappointed to find that only one will connect. I went to the website but every time I filled in the contact form it came up with an error message. When I went to click on the live chat, the link didn't work. I then followed a help article they had on the website, but I think they must be for a different make as my headphones didn't glow green like the instructions suggested. I've taken them off my Bluetooth list, rubbed them together, reconnected the case, reset the case but nothing seems to work- so this is my last resort before I return them! Have been very dissatisfied with the unavailable customer service and the lack of resources to help me with my problem. Can anyone help?

Great listening experience and impeccable customer service

I've purchased wireless headphones from this company 3 times over a span of about 10 years. My most recent experience has convinced me to switch brands forever. The item in question is a set of Plattan 2 wireless headphones, which I received as a replacement because my older Plattan 2's also had their earpads disintegrate within their warranty period. Wore these replacements less than 10 times and they're already destined for the landfill. While the headphone's internals work perfectly, the earpads and headband material is now designed to be pathetically flimsy. With extremely minimal wear the thin red lining on both one of the earpads and the underside of the headband have started disintegrating and flaking off. Urbanears has also discontinued replacement parts for most of their items, a decision which has made their modular design completely pointless and a flat out lie.

The material quality has been reduced drastically since my original headphone purchase years ago, likely something they've done in an attempt to save money. I fell in love with Urbanears mainly because they were sturdy without sacrificing looks, but now that they're obviously no longer sturdy there's no reason to buy from them. I'm sure that their new iteration is just as terrible and has the same disintegration issue since I can see their headbands and earpads are using the same type of material that's causing this problem. It's sad to say that because the Tove Lo limited edition Plattans were my all-time favourite headphones I've ever had and probably ever will have.

On my first item purchased from Urbanears, the original Plattan, the headband was not only removable / replaceable but also a washable knit fabric. Bring that design back. Seriously. The headband and earpads are the headphone's fastest point of failure so they should both be replaceable parts. Also, having earpads that are removable does not matter if the replacement pads aren't available where your headphones are being sold.

I had a problem with BT. The support team all helped me and reply so fast.I told to all of my friends.thanks alot.
