DO NOT work with this company. They will ban you even if you were proven innocent. I was banned for a no call no show and I was there. I was just sick. The client told them I was on site. And they still marked me as no call no show. They have horrible Ai customer service that gives you "repeated" responses.

I would never recommend this company I’ve been here going on two weeks loved the position I was in they also loved me gave me great comments in my app I caught a flat tire this morning and I’m deactivated just because I said I was going in after I got if fixed the manager agreed that I come in afterwards but they don’t care no care in the world like how can y’all be so harsh also I’ve met other workers here from the app that had the same problem if I caught a flat and tryna get help why would I call off if I’m still tryna go to work exactly I will make sure I post this everywhere because this is ridiculous!!

I joined Upshift and immediately started getting shifts and everything was going good — until I worked a banquet server shift at a country club. I’m a black girl and had to prove myself a bit more than the other servers, which I didn’t mind because I have the skill. I was given heavy compliments from management about how hard I was working, and even offered to come back. my work was finished and everyone was on downtime as the event was coming to a close, when one of the managers suddenly asked me why I was talking to my friend and not working in my station. I was only a few feet from my station, where my other coworkers were not, and all my work had been completed. I let her know this, and she walked off. the next day, I received 8 violations from this one country club, all 8 of them completely made up, same thing as my friend. I showed this proof to Upshift, who did not care nor fight for their own Upshifter. they simply took the word of this country club and disabled my account, along with my friend’s. this is the most racist, biased, cruel app I’ve ever had the displeasure of working with. genuinely don’t bother if you are black or brown, they seem to only cater to and protect white workers.

Starting my shift at 4 o’clock . Was approached about 720 that I wasn’t moving fast enough by chef . That  I needed to tighten up ,that they usually have all this shit done by now . Was told I’m moving way too slow ,that I need to move out the way and let them do it .
So I told him I was new that I got it and he told me it don’t look like you got it. You need to speed up or move out the way cause this ain’t the way we do this shit over here. 
OK now he stands behind me brushing up against me keeps putting trays over my head into the machine bumping into me so I then asked him politely ,that I couldn’t work like this with him standing behind me like that . So now he tells me I need to move out the GotDam way ,then he saids you know what and he walks off.
So then he walks off and another shelf approaches. Several minutes later immediately Mr. Maurice walks up, “tells me to move the (F)out the way “,that he got this little shit, that I ain’t shit ;that I need to move the (F) out the way !!To let somebody else (F) do this job !!That I don’t know what the (F) I’m doing .So move the (F) out the way !!So as he’s telling me to move out the way ,He’s boing  me with his elbow. Pushing me harder and harder, comes from one side of my body, puts another tray inside of the dishwasher machine;then starts boeing me and pushing me from the other side of my body. I ask him repeatedly to stop touching me ,stop pushing me stop putting his hands on me. He tells me ,Do you know who the (F) I am!!!That he’s the (F) boss back here . That I need to get the (F) out of here, that I ain’t shit .Then he slams  some dishes down and walks off.

Was assaulted by an employee 
Called the police and did things the right way. Now 5strikes and suspended from upshift. Very unprofessional. Will be going to the court house today. For a warrant of the employee Maurice.Now I am pressing charges for simple assault, and I want some things done about this situation. I’ve been suspended from Upshift for no reason for doing the right thing. This is way uncalled for.

I love the app! The only problem I’m having is the distance of the jobs. I’m only seeing jobs that are 30miles away. Too far.
