Amazing company

United health group is the parent company of Optum which purchased Kelsey-Seybold medical my issues are with Kelsey-Seybold. From what I can see optum is a pharmacy, United is insurance and Kelsey-Seybold are clinics in the greater Houston area. They have committed what I believe to be health Care fraud I went to them for two visits one to an MD the other was a specialist they ended up charging 1,840$ for what was initially a lung infection of some sort the MD sent me to the specialist and I was prescribe some meds these meds also cause me problems, made me wake up in the middle night with 160 heartbeat due to my blood pressure dropping below what my heart was comfortable with and gave me an extremely bad headache doctor should have known that mixing these 4 meds would have done this. After arguing about that and the charges they're trying to charge me cuz I showed I didn't have a copay which I did I then get two more bills stating that was there for two other visits when I was only there twice they build my insurance for four separate visits. And a charge $1,800 for pretty much needed an antibiotics which I did not get from them I had to go get from another doctor. So they charge $1,800 and did nothing sounds very lucrative....

I love United Healthcare when my ex-husband had it for his insurance. They were always helpful and their customer service was great. I think they’ve even gotten better lately. I have United Healthcare Dual Complete. And I love it.! They really are helpful and helping you find exactly what you need whether it’s a provider or a ride.
