University of Ulster Arvostelua 5

I studied there on Erasmus in 2018. It was, frankly, terrible, starting from a dormitory that was cold, not insulated, damp and gave me pneumonia, through a roommate who lived in his own mess, zero help from university administration, high-school level of some classes to lecturers who didn't explain the assessment criteria of academic writing and then gave us bad marks. Hopefully until now the university has managed to do someting about its problems, which it seemed to have plenty.

I had a really good time at Ulster, with great lecturers such as Dr Shaun Ryan and Prof. Brian Irvine. Athough some bumps along the road that could've been dealt with better by the university, i felt well supported by the BMus staff and UUSU. Thanks for a great 3 years.

Worst university ever. Never take admission in this university. In spite of paying £17,000 of fees in just two years they are not even able to give a second chance for the registration for certification ceremony is this the way you treat to your students?
Vast College ever I will never ever even ask anyone to take admission into this college and even if someone will take an admission I will ask him to just cancel that.

An Intending student's visa was denied on the base of proof of funds. Student has called and emailed and tried to reach out to Ulster university for a refund of tuition deposit of £5,500. Ulster university has refused to refund the said amount amid all reasons and has put student into a serious depression and mental breakdown. Student has been unable to go ahead with daily activities due to due to this act of inconsideration by a reputable institution like Ulster university, Birmingham campus. Ulster university is an institution and should be considerate in their actions regardless. You can't allow a young student go through depression and possible death just because her good intentions of studying in your institution was cut short by the embassy. This student is currently unable to respond or think straight due to depression. Please I urge Ulster university to refund the tuition deposit of £5,500 to the student and help bring student out of this unbearable and demoralised state of depression and mental breakdown. She is a human being and she did nothing wrong by meeting admissions requirements and paying a whole sum of £5,500.

Worst university in the UK. No proper student service, give hassle to student and irresponsible internship team. They do not have a number to contact but given a fake number in the email. They didn’t bother looking into my files in long time when i provided. Just before a day of last submission, they said problem with this and that, that too when I personally emailed them for enquiries. Then what did the team do in the last 3 months? Unnecessary pressure to the student in last minute. Do not come in this university if there’s any other options. I would never recommend any for this university.
