I've been teaching myself to turn wood for a couple of years now and love dealing with Glenn and Liza. I now have various chisels made by Glenn and find them all excellent. The wide range of replacement cutters are great. Prices are excellent and delivery is always very quick. I enjoy watching Glenn and Liza's YouTube videos, as I know I'm going to learn something new and have a giggle with them at the same time. Thoroughly recommend.

Had the set of type 3 chisels for a few months now. I find them excellent to use. Cutting cleanly and leaving a nice surface. They do need to be used differently than a traditional tool in my opinion but I’ve adapted to them.
Very pleased with them. Delivery was quick … it took longer to unwrap them than it did to deliver them 😀

You could spend a small fortune on just one carbide chisel, or you could save your cash by shoppingwith Temu (bit risky). Best by far, kick off with a set of three British-made carbides from Messrs Teagle. They are great. There was a slight mix up with the delivery, so a couple of days late. But what the heck, that's life, the tools are beautiful and work a treat. I need to decide which to buy next; there's a big choice. Recommended!

just seen my wifes cousins chisels i recommended him to watch Glen and his purchased set of 3 carbide chisels now i have seen them look such good quality i will get a set aswell

I have made a couple of purchases from uk woodcraft and carbide chisels and both times the postage was fast and hassle free. When my tools arrived I was very pleased with glen’s products they are well made and easy to use and check out his YouTube and he shows you how to use them. My latest purchase was a 9mm deep hollower when I finally got through the packaging tape my reaction was wow! . My only criticism is that Glenn massively under sells his excellent tools .

I'm just getting into woodturning, I see another youtube video doing a review of glen teagles carbide tools, ordered the same day. They are very easy to use, very well finished, and he doesn't pull your pants down with the price. I'm actually about to order his new chisels right now. He also has a YouTube channel to show you exactly how his tools should be used. Cannot reccomend highly enough.

Bought 4 or 5 of Glen Teagle carbide tools. They are brilliant to use in my opinion. Lot easier for someone like me with early onset dementia. Find them much easier than the standard chisels, gouge's etc. I have some Rutlands carbide tools, Glen Teagle tools I think are better. Had a few issues with the Rutlands with the handles coming unstuck, and the carbide tips snapping when used on exotic hardwoods. Also, have Easy wood tools which are lot more expensive, Glen"s are just as good, I have Hollowing tools of each make and I prefer using Glen"s. Hope this honest review helps people, Glen Teagle carbide tools are worth the money, which out performs the price in my opinion.

I’ve watched a few of Glen Teagle’s woodturning videos on YouTube and as I was having problems getting to grips with traditional gouges I thought I’d try a set of his carbide tools. The set of 3 cost £85, and while not expensive, they are for someone like myself on a limited pension. They arrived promptly and I was keen to try them out. However, when I took them from the packaging I found they were quite poorly finished. The wooden handle had a little knob with a hole at the end, where it hadn’t been finished. The metal work had scratches and marks along its length. The copper ferrule was badly finished, with pieces of copper swarf mixed in with the epoxy glue. There were also ‘splashes’ of epoxy glue that had strayed up the ferrule. They were just badly finished.
The worst was yet to come, as when I tried the square tipped carbide, on the second cut the tip cracked! I contacted Glen Teagle asking why this would have happened, as I had been fairly gentle with it. His reply was fairly terse, he said he had no idea as he wasn’t there. I then had to pay for a new carbide tip.
I won’t use Woodcrafts and Carbide Chisels Supplies again, as I feel the 3 chisels I purchased from him were quite amateurish in their build. I feel that they are something I could make myself, for an awful lot less, and probably about the same level of craftsmanship.
