I first started working with UKCS back in June 2018 when I was at a low ebb in my search for a new role after being made redundant in February of that year. My consultant Andy Jarvis gave me a lot of useful advice, encouragement and became a great source of support and mentoring. We did a lot of work in re-writing my CV at the end of which I had two different types of CV which I could then use and adapt for my job applications. The first result was that my hit rate for interviews increased and by early August I had started a new role. Since then, Andy has continued to be available tO provide me with advice, support and a rewrite of the CVs. I strongly recommend UKCS.

Very bad outcome for me from UKCS.
After several phone calls with UKCS and exchange of information and my current CV, I believe the CV they produced was not as good as the one I had already wrote myself and I have now reverted back to my original.
Worse than that was the circulation of the CV they did.
They definitely circulated it to a lot of agencies but these were all over the world and I received emails back saying undelivered or deleted without being read!
They just sent out my CV to spurious agencies that were irrelevant or no longer in existence.
It seems they just blanket email the CV to any agency email address they can find.
I did not have one single positive response but scores of negative undelivered or deleted responses.
Tried to explain to UKCS but they had lots of excuses and did nothing.
My advice is do not waste your money with them. Do it yourself it's not that difficult and you can register with genuine active agencies.

First class service, extremely effective and resulting in immediate and positive impact on my career in securing a new opportunity.

Upon returning to the UK, after 7 years in Lebanon, I realised that my CV was out of date, and I was unaware of how to write one according to UK standards. More importantly, I wanted a career change and knew I needed a new CV, which is when I came across UKCS.

I found their pricing very reasonable and went ahead with the CV and Cover Letter Package. After sending them all of my old CVs and cover letter drafts, and there were quite alot, I received a phone call from Barry Cherokof.

It was a great and friendly chat about my career and work history. I found it very uplifting because, Barry was able to pinpoint areas of my expertise that I had not even acknowledged.

After a one week wait I received my brand new CV and cover letter and was amazed by a number of things:
1. How everything for my CV fit neatly in 2 pages.
2. The clear structure and style.
3. The language and terminology used.

With a few minor adjustments made, I received my second draft and started applying for jobs with regenerated enthusiasm and motivation.

My new CV and cover letter were such a hit that I even recommended UKCS to family members who have used it.

UKCS have great customer service, and I thank Barry wholeheartedly for helping me start my new career.

Please do not use these guys. The only thing they do is copy and paste from your current CV and change some colors.
When you complain, they do respond to any of your emails. When you call, the only person who can make a decision is Malcom, the director, who is constantly on holiday and once you manage to speak to him he will be verbally abusive and incredibly rude. Stay away. Daylight robbery.

Please do not use this company. They do not return calls I have text and left messages for Amanda and some other chap who writes the cv. Its day light robbery the CV they sent me as a draft was a joke honestly a waste of money and time.
They are very helpful at the beginning calling all the time once they get your money that's it no more contact or help.
I should not have to chase a company up for a service they are suppose to provide to help people get back into work. Useless day light robbers.

OK, in a weak moment I agreed to pay UKCS £300 for an updated CV and Cover Letter. They also offered to distribute my CV to A tailored list of companies and recruiters. Well, the CV is OK, as is the Cover Letter. It is the Distribution of said documents that I have problems with. I have been working as a Project Manager, so would expect that that would be the focus of any distribution. Sadly not. My CV has been sent to jobs as MOT Inspector, Auto Engineer, Recruitment Consultant. There are more, but it would be a long list. Lastly, they managed to misspell my surname, now that is really going to impress companies is it not?
