I used Trusted translations for my certified documents, and the entire experience was smooth and reliable. The translations were precise, delivered on time and properly formatted for official use. And their customer service was very attentive and very quick to respond.

We had a very bad experience with Trusted Translations®. My wife had a USCIS appointment that was canceled, and she informed the company in advance that an interpreter was no longer needed and requested a refund of the $340 fee. Unfortunately, they refused to return any of the money. They simply kept the full amount without offering any partial refund or reasonable solution.

We feel this was unfair and dishonest. Please be careful before hiring this company for immigration-related services. Based on our experience, they are not transparent or customer-friendly

I am extremely disappointed with this company.

I paid $340 for an interpreter for my USCIS asylum interview. The day before the appointment, I received an official notice by mail that USCIS cancelled my interview. This was completely outside of my control.

I contacted the company immediately, explained the situation, and even asked for a partial refund. They refused to return anything.

I understand cancellation policies, but there should also be basic fairness and understanding when the U.S. government cancels the appointment. Keeping the full payment for a service that never happened feels unreasonable and unfair.

If this is how they treat people going through immigration processes, future clients should be aware before paying in advance.

I still hope the company reconsiders and does the right thing.

I purchased a certified legal translation from Trusted Translations for use in a visa application. They returned documents with serious errors: my mother’s legal name, my name were misspelled, and legal terms were mistranslated, making the translation unusable for official government purposes.
I uploaded clear evidence to PayPal and explained the issue in detail, but the dispute was closed in the seller’s favor. I’ve since had to pay another translator to fix what this company got wrong.
I even emailed them back with the corrections, giving them the chance to fix their mistakes, but after waiting, they still failed to correct all of the errors.
I do not recommend them for certified legal work. They failed to meet consular standards and did not take responsibility when the issue was

You say PayPal “ruled in your favor” — how proud you must be, clinging to a technicality while dodging real accountability. But let’s not twist this: PayPal doesn’t judge quality — just whether a transaction took place. What they don’t check is whether the product was actually usable, certified properly, or fit for its legal purpose.

You claim you “offered to make it right.” Cute. But here’s what you left out:
👉🏽 I actually gave you the chance to fix it — and you still messed it up.
Your “revised” translation was just as unacceptable as the first. I was dealing with time-sensitive consular documents — not homework assignments you can rewrite for partial credit. Your formatting was still off, the certifying language was still not compliant, and the entire package looked like it was slapped together with generic templates and Google Translate.

So yes — I moved on. I had no choice but to pay another company to do the job correctly while you sat on your hands and denied a refund. And now you’re using PayPal’s limited process as a badge of honor?

Your so-called “commitment to high-quality certified translations” is performative at best. If this is your standard, it’s dangerous for anyone relying on you for immigration, legal, or government paperwork.

So thank you — for admitting in writing that your original product contained an error. That’s all the documentation I needed.

And that minor error! You don’t get to screw up someone’s legal documents and call it ‘minor.’ You don’t get to brush off accountability with a polite shrug. I paid for precision. What you gave me was negligence in Times New Roman. Names should never be translated on official documents

I m in Florida and They did not understand my needs about after translation to Apostille (the attendant did not know the meaning) . I contact their dept in florida but they sent to a translator in Virginia. I could not Apostille in State of Florida because of the Virginia' Stamp. I also missed my Schedule for interview at consulate for their delay. They returned my money but the mess was already done.

I hired Trusted Translations for a crucial USCIS interview, swayed by their good reviews, but it was a terrible mistake!

I specifically requested an experienced interpreter, and Kevin assured me that the assigned interpreter, Dina, was qualified. This was completely false. She arrived unprepared at 6:58 AM, unaware of the office location despite receiving the address in advance, and lacked identification, which barred her from interpreting. Her poor English skills further made communication impossible. She left at 7:14 AM with no service provided.

This unprofessional service severely disrupted my critical interview, despite my clear instructions and willingness to pay for quality. After complaining, I was promised a refund post a 3-7 day investigation, but three days later, I’ve heard nothing. A refund won’t undo the damage caused by their incompetence and misrepresentation.

I will update this review once the refund is processed. I’d give them -10 stars if possible. Avoid this company at all costs for any important interpretation needs!!!

Title: Paid in Full, No Service Provided – Refused Refund and Poor Attitude
I paid Trusted Translations a total of $372 on March 28, 2025, through a bank transfer using a link they provided. The company confirmed both the payment and that they would provide a Chinese-English interpreter for my USCIS interview scheduled for April 8, 2025.
However, they completely failed to deliver any translation service. I did not receive any contact from a translator before the interview. I repeatedly tried to contact the company and requested a refund. They not only refused, but also responded with a rude and dismissive attitude, ending the conversation with "Goodbye."
This experience has caused me serious stress, especially as I do not speak English and was relying entirely on their service for a critical immigration interview.
I warn others to be cautious when dealing with this company, especially if asked to pay upfront.

The documents do not have errors, and our staff reviewers have said that the translators are obviously very experienced in the field. WNYIL is pleased with the professionalism and attention to detail that we receive. And the quick response to company needs.

Sebastian was great in communicating with me via phone and email when I first contacted him about using his firm for Translation Services as well as through the entire process. The Translator they set us up with via Zoom was very good and the cost was very reasonable.
