If you wanna work for this company, good luck, very messy and alot of demands for pennies literally you get the same pay as McDonald's! They had so many issues with their system that my brand new computer crashed, they ask to share your screen with all your personal information with groups of people. I've worked as translator for over 7 years in several companies and I've never been talk to like a stupid child. The atmosphere isn't pleasant the training 70% has nothing to do with actual job. You can read my reviews 98% positive. So for me to write a negative review takes a lot! Hopefully they pay cause I can see people haven't got paid aswell.

Any translation agency or company
request a (short) free test for a specific client (not a 4 hours test) and then who pass the test starts the requested translation project.
You send me the result after three months and one month ago and here on trustpilot everybody tells the same story: free test, no job.
Maybe you use the test to deliver translations to your client, I don’t know but this is not correct, not professional and not serious!

Like so many others I have not been paid and having to constantly chase it up is getting ridiculous. There's no excuse. I don't know what this company's game is but paying people in a timely manner for completed work is pretty basic stuff.

I had a translation experience where they would pay me £2,100 for my work but they told me that I had to pay insurance of £100 to be able to receive my money and that they would then refund it to my payment. But at first no one informed me about this payment, I killed myself writing a book day and night and now they tell me that? When I finished the work they made me send it to an email and they wrote me the following:

“With absolute concern we want to drag your attention on a little hiccup that is necessary and very important to the two parties,
Has an employee who has worked effortlessly on the project assigned to you, you are expected to sign and pay a refundable insurance fee of £100, which will be credited back to you with your initial salary, making it £2,100.

It is very important to insure our alliance together and seal all term and conditions with a signed document. Meanwhile, a new project has been awarded to you with a reasonable and bigger salary, after this whole process is completed, kindly contact your project director for the new project details.

We hope you don’t see this as an endeavor but a reassurance of our extended collaboration together.

Meanwhile kindly submit any valid ID, to the payment manager for verification and sign the insurance form to insure our alliance and collaboration together for legal measures.“

I would love to be able to receive my money for the time and work it took me to do it.

I wanted to reach out about something that’s been bothering me. I’ve noticed that some people were allowed to retake the test after failing, but I wasn’t given the same chance. It feels a bit unfair, and I can’t help but wonder why some get the opportunity while others don’t.

I just want to understand how those decisions are made because, from my side, it doesn’t seem very consistent. I’d really appreciate some clarity on this.

I did a translation work with Transperfect, delivered the work and to my surprise they even informed me that my work was published and it was the best but I have not been paid even a penny, I have evidenced of chats work delivery email. $3500 project , i am in deep stress and I need my pay.They asked me to pay $45 for 'private account' opening which to me was not part of the agreement besides providing all necessary details and verifications. Phil Shawe was my project manager ,who i was directed to through my PeopleperHour account , we had chats on telegram through is telegram link @transperfect_library01, and agreed on terms.
Currently I am still pleading with them to pay me and still insists on paying the money

Company does not even look at job applications, sent one over Linkedin (which alerts you when the application is viewed) and a month later the requested CV Cover Letter and Portfolio haven't been touched.

They asked me to make 6 logos for $2000. After I finished and handed them the projects, I asked them for my financial dues. He told me that I must pay the transfer fee of $150 and he wants to pay the money via Bitcoin or digital commissions. He had taken $200 from me before for the fees, according to what they said, but this was not enough for them. They want to defraud and swindle more than $200. They want to take more under the pretext of transfer fees from one country to another.

I was contacted through telegram that i need to convert a pdf file to microsoft word. Its not an easy tasked because its 50 image that has more than 500 words per page. Its an urgent task needs to be finish 1 day, so i did it overnight. I was able to submit and send the project through email. However right after I received an email that my payment of $850 was on hold until i pay the Non resident tax fee: $20.00, before i cant received the said amount. Below is the email that i received.

Hello Dear Employee,

This is to inform you that a payment of ($850.00) as a non resident worker enroute your account has been WITHHELD. You are required to clear the federal non resident taxation charges billed to your account.

A non resident worker is a non citizen who "has not passed the Green Card test“. Non resident workers must pay taxes on their income earned in the United States. In Other words Non resident workers are remote employees hired to work on an assigned one time project.

In your case we have been notified of your status quo, our Clearance financial institution can’t complete the wire transfer as funds has been WITHHELD.

Billing Summary:

Payment Income: $850.00

Non resident tax fee: $20.00

Tax payments cleared so far: $00

Interest Charges: $09.73

Please kindly contact the payment director,he or she will guide you on how to make the payment for the non resident tax fee.

Note: you have to make the payment fast to avoid additional interest charges.

Right now I am already blocked by the said DIRECTOR who send me the project. She already have the finish project that i work hard overnight and no reply or even email for an update in my Project. Hope this will be a lesson not to trust anyone. Still hoping to received the payment that I worked on

Did over 600+ voice recordings had a very quiet location submitted them all within time frame the next day they're all rejected stating that there was no three second pause before and after the recordings. Did this two almost three times same thing I highly doubt that 600 plus recordings were actually reviewed I took time out of my day to complete these for $93 conversation which I see now that I will not get because once again recordings are rejected in which looks like less than a day turnaround. The communication is not good, transparency doesn't seem to be there don't know who I'm talking to don't get much feedback other than do I need a deadline and three record nothing more than that. I then get an email stating that I will be removed from the project and that all of my reportings will be deleted and then I will not be able to work on for the projects which doesn't seem right you're not able to talk to a live person you don't know which recordings if any were reviewed or which were not quite right it just doesn't make sense when I've done things like this with other companies with no problem. I do not recommend that you work with this company and expect to get paid it seems like my recordings may be used and I not get compensated! Note my recordings were NOT rejected because excessive of noise.

They are doing complete fraud work. It does not behave like the project manager with whom the commitment was made. And those who don't give money are just cheaters. They forget when the work is done and don't even pay

I was asked to read a book and and capture sounds at computer, 3hours for 150USD, which may be 6hours all together.
However, they assume you live in an absolutely quiet surrounding, have at least a semi-professsional microphone (webcam not possible) and you are a semi-professional reader (which may never ever be a professional after computer will make your work in the future after this task and you give up all your rights).

I tried, bought headset for 89Euros, but however I got always sound problems like unpredictable cracks.

I live in village and always there are interruptions in sounds like smashing doors, trucks, birds, dogs, children...

If you read how long you may wait your money, I don't suggest to make this work.

I actually completed one of the tasks called Quality Check Batch which was a Hindi content reviewing, I toiled day and night working on the project and slept only for 3 hours for almost 3 consecutive days and completed the project on February 19 2024.I was promised to give compensation for half checked or verified task and rest was under the process of reviewing, I have mails as proofs. They did pay me half of the compensation. I want to add something here that the google listing is full of negative reviews and the rating is too low, but I did not pay any heed to them and placed my full faith in the company. Now it unfortunate to experience that despite writing so many mails the company is now not communicating or responding to my mails. I don't want to bother neither Dataforce nor Trustpilot, but I am being compelled to write a review, at the same time have full faith in Trustpilot that would certainly help me giving a justice to my valued time and hard work. Please help me out.

Completed a project 2 months ago. It was accepted. Then there was a delay waiting for the payment. Today I was notified that my project was rejected - even though they previously said it was accepted - and the excuse they gave for rejecting it was total bs. This is not a legitimate company.

I also think it's interesting that they're saying they're being impersonated. The people I'm dealing with are dataforce.zendesk.com which is one of the domains that they list as being legitimate.

Terrible - wish I had read the reviews before signing up. 6 months later and still chasing payment :(

They have not paid me for 3 tasks, in over 2 months for 2 email collection tasks, and over 1 month for a 500 sentence recording task. I email them over, and over, and no response. I want to get paid!
If i get paid, i will change this review, but as of now, 1 star, bad communication, most likely scammed me out of my time and money!

They even messaged me on email that they will issue a payment within the week, that was more than a week ago. I feel like i'm never going to get my money, stay away!!!
Edit- They send me an email everyday to "fix my review", 0 communication, late pay, but when i make it public they email me daily to change my review. I will leave it as one star, because that's what they deserve. 0 communication when i needed my overdue payment, now all of the sudden its everyday? They email me?

I'm leaving this as a warning , they recently put up an ad asking for leases and bank statements !! There is no way they're legit ,do not give them your info
