We’re told it’s Free …. but then whilst installing the system it advises that the first three days are free and after that, a charge of £79.99 trips in ….

There are too many negative reviews on here …. a shame, it’s a lovely idea.

Honestly, I can't praise The Tor Project enough. Back when I was living in Turkey, our government was always censoring things, and you just couldn't trust our internet providers. Tor was my absolute go-to, the best way to get around all that and actually access information. It’s incredible that a non-profit like this, along with thousands of volunteers who clearly spend their own time and resources making it work, provides such a critical tool for safety and privacy. If you care about having a truly free internet, or if you're in a situation where you need to bypass censorship, please consider donating to The Tor Project. They truly deserve our support for keeping this essential service running.

Avoid marketplaces in it as you will most likely get scammed especially marketplaces with escrow as most of them are purely poor and have no benefit from sales. Avoid websites lik nexusgenmarket etc as they rug pull orders and scam customers quite often

the project is very interesting, I hope they make it even easier to use and learn. for now it's still the best browser if you want to stay safe online

Used the tor browser once, now flooded with adverts on chrome browser, even though I have uninstalled Tor.

Excellent and secure browser!

Sometimes it is a little slow but using the "Safest" option makes you feel protected while navigating the web.

Dieser Mist von Browser läuft auf meinem PC nicht. Dauernd krächzt er von Problemen mit dem eingebauten Firefox und startet nicht.
Wäre ja ganz interessant, mal ins Darknet zu gehen, aber wie gesagt. TOR (The Onion Router) kommt mir nicht mehr auf die Platte.

This is the safest web browser you can ever use. And it's free. This means if you need to add your sensitive details over the internet, eg. id card, passport for different purposes like BTC, scheduling appointments, etc., you will be safe with this browser. It does load a bit slower than any other one, but give it some time, it will be loaded very fast. All the recommendations.

TOR 10.5.15 does not allow "bookmarks" or "Roboform". Their big red banner warning and solutions are a bunch of bull. I have tried ALL of those supposed fixes and NONE work.

Overall the best browser for its purposes (which ofc vary drastically from person to person). Got a couple of downsides, such as annoying and frequent captchas, or issues with access to "normal" sites. But overall, I couldn't find a better solution than Tor. Gotta give it 5 stars

An extremely weak company that encourages other companies (via Tor Verified links) to sign up Tor users for the purpose of stealing their coin deposits. Case in point: two companies Tor verifies as ‘going concerns’ that are anything but. BitMarket and the Peoples Drug Store.

I opened an account on both thinking Tor was behind them. On BitMarket I deposited $440. The website says you can buy things and withdraw your unused deposits at any time. Problem is BitMarket is closed down and you cannot buy anything. No one will answer messages and you cannot withdraw your coin deposits. In the case of the Peoples Drug Store. I sent $400 to the btc address they provided. Its been 7 days and the funds have not shown in my account. Since both websites were Verified by Tor I felt comfortable funding the accounts. I cannot understand why Tot would allow these two companies to steal funds from Tor users after Tor has “Verified” the companies as reputable ‘going concerns’. I hope Tor will read this review because they did not respond to my email describing the above.

Overall a great browser and great network, recommended for those looking for maximum anonymity and privacy.
