I’ve always had a great experience with Tom Hixson. Delivery is consistently quick, everything arrives well packaged, and they use a reliable courier that keeps you updated every step of the way.

The quality of the food is excellent, and the Steak Club is fantastic value. It’s a brilliant way to experience different cuts that you might not otherwise have tried.

Over the past few years, I’ve only had two minor issues—one courier delay during a particularly busy time of year and one packaging issue. These things can happen from time to time, but on both occasions my queries were handled promptly and professionally, resulting in a positive outcome.

I’m down in London for my birthday later this month, and I’m seriously tempted to pop in and meet the team. Keep up the great work!

Although have reviewed previously, just need to let Tom Hixson and others know about my latest delivery of Argentinian Ribeye Roll. Firstly the offer price was very reasonable, secondly it was delivered as stated with good updates from DPD, now the most important, incredible, succulent flavorsome steaks, which I knew they were going to be as extremely well marbled. Never going anywhere else for my beef.

Named day delivery did not turn up as scheduled - delivered a day late by DPD and high value products partially defrosted and food needing using straight away. Really disappointing response from TH's customer service which was basically - read our T&C's and jog on. No proper acknowledgment that their chosen courier totally failed and the inconvenience caused. After that response I will not be using company again.

I ordered halal rioplastine striploin beef 5kg (order #206016). The product arrived on time, however there were several issues that led to concern and frustration.

Firstly, I was charged £175 for the order, while the same quantity is listed on the website at £79.99 per 2.5 kg, which would total £159.98 for 5 kg. When I raised this, the pricing discrepancy was acknowledged and a refund of the difference was agreed.

Secondly, the product was advertised as halal, but there was no clear halal labelling or certification markings on the individual packs or packaging. When I queried this, I was initially provided with general supplier certification, however this did not clearly correspond to the specific product or batch received. I was later informed that certification is issued at production/invoice level and that individual halal labelling is not legally required on packaging. This was not made clear at the point of purchase, which understandably caused uncertainty.

Customer service did eventually agree to a full refund and collection of the goods, but only after multiple exchanges and clarification requests. The process has been slower than expected.

At the time of writing, I am still waiting for courier collection to be arranged, meaning I have had to store a perishable product in my fridge during this delay.

While a refund has been agreed, the overall experience lacked upfront transparency on pricing, halal certification clarity, and efficiency in resolving the issue.

Popped into the shop, amazing staff helped me pick my Sunday dinner. Was an amazing cut of beef 🥩

Great quality meat, always as described

Excellent beef! Ordered 2x 1kg Wagyu centre cut fillets for £100 total (incl first order discount). Arrived well-packed and defrosted remainder in fridge. Made two delicious Wellingtons from them. Tender, tasty and perfect!
Will order again- v easy and good value for what it is. Much cheaper than local butcher and better quality too!

I wrote a review on this funny its not showing up?. Yet Tom Hixson contacted me the next day to try to apologise.
They sold me products ie a turkey and beef dripping saying it was halaal but not labeled as such!. After a lot of back and forth the Admission came the Non Halaal beef dripping is actually Halaal too but they deliberately not telling people. They are not transparent. Trading standards issues here! They have lost my trust and fooling Halaal customers and non Halaal customers. On top sold me a lesser quality of meat!!!. Good faith and Trust lost here!. Why this is showing unprompted review do not know why??. Tom Hixsons need to do much better

Good products & excellent customer service

Five stars for your product, beautiful wagyu burgers . However some of the packages had no written information on and you do not state on your website whether these have gluten in them . Some of your items clearly state they are gluten free and some say nothing, this is not a risk I can take for some members of the family . To add insult to injury you did not respond to the email I sent from your website . Disappointed in your customer care .

Always love the meat from Tom Hixson - superb quality that is great for entertaining guests and feeding the family.
