Sam was super helpful! New phone, contract and transfer over from Tesco Mobile done in less than ten minutes, explained everything brilliantly, thank you so much!

Popped in store today to check on the 3 accounts I have for my children. Sam was absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much trouble, she made me lots of savings and was friendly and polite. Best experience in a phone shop yet!

Avoid 3 at all costs , if I could leave a zero review I would. I have an account in my name in Telford with a mobile that my dad uses at his address in Solihull. My dad is a vulnerable 80 year old. He has been recently experiencing coverage issues in just his home and street so went into the Three store in Touchwood Solihull 07/07/26 to see if they could help him solve the issues. His signal is fine everywhere else. My dad spoke to an Asian lad ( can’t remember his name ) who couldn’t solve the issues but told my dad he could upgrade his sim for £1 cheaper which my dad agreed to and signed the new 24m contract on the advisors IPad. The sales advisor sent the contract to my dad via email. This still hasn’t solved the signal issues but what I’m more concerned with is the fact that the store has committed a an unauthorised upgrade, data breach and fraudulent transaction.
This account is in my name. I was not present when any of this was taking place. I was not contacted to inform me this was taking place.
My dad was not asked for any ID to confirm his identify. The contract was sent to my dad via email which needs a password to open the contract which is my date of birth. The sales advisor also got my dad to sign the contract on his iPad. The contract details are still in my name! So not only was the account not validated the sales advisor has committed a serious data breach and taken advantage of an 80yr old vulnerable man. My dad didn’t understand what was happening he just wanted to sort out his signal issues and was happy to be paying a £1 cheaper.
My dad contacted me this afternoon to explain that he was having issues and told me about going into the store and having a new contract which surprised me as I know his phone is in my name.
I contacted the store via phone and spoke with Jake the manager who initially seemed shocked but then tried backtracking saying that the account had been validated by asking questions and probably sending a text to the phone in question and couldn’t tell me the name of the sales advisor as they had cover in the store but would look into it.
You cannot get someone to sign an agreement when the account isn’t in their name, black and white it’s as simple as that. A massive unlawful and illegal data breach. This store needs investigating , how many times has this happened before ??
An official complaint will be submitted to the complaints department.
