Like many, I was a part of recent layoffs in the tech space. While scrolling through LinkedIn I came across a post from Khero Witey about a position I was interested in. Just another recruiting company. As always, all the recruiters are more interested in making their own call quotas, they will push the candidate to go into a call in order to "explore" his/hers skills (regardless of the fact they ALREADY had a file for that candidate with his/hers skills), just to show off their internal managers that they are "working". I'm wondering, are they being paid by the call or time spent in the call? Best if avoided and treated like the rest of the recruiters.
