TheSoapery Arvostelua

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience with The Soapery. I placed two sizeable orders and expected reliable service, but instead I received a block of coconut oil clearly labelled 10kg, despite paying for 12.5kg. This is a straightforward under-delivery.

When I reported the issue, instead of apologising or resolving it, I was asked to weigh the product myself, take photos of the scale, and send the evidence. I don’t own industrial scales, nor should I be expected to source equipment and spend my time proving a mistake that is already obvious from the product label.

I paid for a full 12.5kg and received only 10kg — that alone should be sufficient to process the refund for the missing amount. Instead, I’ve been met with unnecessary back-and-forth and a lack of accountability.

I had been satisfied with The Soapery until now, but this experience has seriously made me reconsider ordering from them again. Good products mean nothing if customer service is dismissive and places the burden of proof on the customer for an error they didn’t make.

Very disappointing and completely avoidable.

I ordered a few plant-based oils from The Soapry and was very happy with my experience. The website is easy to navigate, the selection is huge, and the quality of the oils is excellent — fresh, natural, and exactly as described. The delivery was lightning fast and free, and I even received a kind thank-you email, which made it feel very personal.
