Very friendly team, got back to me straight away with any queries. Would definitely use The Snowboard Shop again.

After originally buying snowboarding gear at Snow & Rock I came across this gem of a shop on the internet. Fair to say that I was soon getting a refund from S&R due to the very high prices & incorrect gear they advised.

So, what do I think of the snowboard shop? Its excellent, Darren & Zach were very informative as I explained I was new to snowboarding (this will be my first time on the slopes). Everything was clearly explained & the detail of getting me the right board,boots, bindings & clothes was great.

These guys really pride themselves on kitting you out with correct gear that is suited to you. It’s a minefield for beginners like me but they took the time out to try lots of different combinations until we found the right ones for me.

I would highly recommend visiting if your new to snowboarding or a season veteran. The guys were extremely friendly & even made us a cup of tea while I was there. That's service you can’t beat :)

The snowboard shop have a good easy to use website great prices and very very fast dispatch/delivery time. very happy, I was unwrapping my board with in 2 days of making my order!

I would highly recommend the snowboard shop, being a complete amateur and as such not having a clue what I needed or what would be the best for me I was served with clear friendly advise which left me in no doubt that I was getting was not only correct for my needs but the best value I could expect.

Have been buying clothes and equipment from the snowboard shop for a number of years now and they never disappoint. If you are looking for high quality customer service along with buying equipment and clothes at great prices then I would truly recommend the snowboard shop. Website is always very easy to use and when in store it's an even smoother operation.

Put simply, the Snowboard Shop is everything a snowboarder could wish for in a UK based snowboard shop. A small, personal enterprise which stocks a wide variety of goods, as well as more niche items that you simply will not find in other well known retail outlets. They provide an extremely valuable service to the local community and, coupled with their online shopping experience, the UK snowsports community as a whole. Personally, I think they should be regarded as a national treasure and given funding by the national lottery or some other sort of financial body. I'd much rather bail out these guys than the banks if they ever needed help!

Joking aside, the staff at the Snowboard Shop are genuine, helpful, knowledgeable people. I received great value for money and benefited from their very well rounded product/brand knowledge. I would urge anyone who is serious about snowboarding and our community to give these people your business rather than the larger, well known retail outlets. I wish I'd known about these guys years ago!

I bought my first pair of boots (Burton Moto) and some ThirtyTwo socks. I also brought my snowboard in to be edged and waxed. Darren served me and suitably asked what kind of foot I have (width etc) which was reassuring so he could make an informed decision as to what kind of boots would fit me best. The process of selecting boots took a little while as the fit was the most important thing and after several attempts I was extremely happy with my choice. The first couple of pairs brought out were either on or slightly above my upper price limit which is understandable but a minor annoyance. I was offered to have them heat moulded but declined as wearing them a few times would give me enough of a mould to get going. I was asked if I had a time in which I required my board back which was good to know if I had. As I hadn't, this wasn't an issue although when asked for a rough time frame in which I would want it back I was given a vague non committal answer.

Either way there was a great selection to be had and the staff were well informed and knowledgeable about all the bits of kit asked about. I would definitely visit here again when considering new bits of kit and would be happy to support a very nicely run shop.

I was very happy with my purchase I made on the snowboardshop online shop.
The only improvement I would ask for would to be advised when the item had been shipped.
I received the confirmation of my order and that was the last I heard until the item arrived.

Been into the shop to buy my first board and they were loads of help and was mega happy with what i left with and ordered stuff offline and always comes in good time and order brilliant company.

Great shop , really know there stuff, fully stocked and Internet prices!

Had a manufacturing problem with a pair of new boots I bought and the snowboardshop without quibble agreed to replace with next years model..

In my opinion this is the kind of customer service that will make customers(and certainly me) come back!

I would absolutely recommend anyone to shop at the Snowboard shop, I have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful, they are knowledgeable on all the products they sell, plus they will go out of their way to find out information for you on anything they don't stock. That coupled with a non-biased option on kit always provides for a pleasurable shopping experience.

I've been using the The Snowboard Shop since it opened and have never known a shop like it. The shop is well stocked, has a great atmosphere and you will not find a more helpful or better informed team in any other shop. Darren and his team are avid boarders so they really know their stuff means they know exactly what is right for you. They won't talk down to you or up sell you something that you don't need. Have total confidence when dealing with The Snowboard Shop, whether it be online or going to the shop in person, you will get the right advise the right products and good prices. Very impressed with K2 slayer and burton cartels.

The staff are friendly and helped me choose a good pair of boots for my first boarding trip. The boots fit very comfortably and will mould to my feet as I wear them. They have offered to a moulding service if I need it.

I would have given them 5 stars but the shop was very busy ( A good sign) and the parking behind the shop is not great when the shop is busy.

I am sure I will be using them again.

My son of 9 has just developed an enthusiasm for skateboarding without any of us knowing much about it. The staff at the skateboard shop listened to the kind of thing he wanted and were happy to spend some time talking us through options and where best to skate. We ended up with a good value board, helmet and wrist guards and Ben has been delighted with it. I'd recommend this shop for its personal service.

Our first visit to the shop after I had beeen given a voucher. Had a look online before I went and was excited about the volume of stock they had. The shop didn't disapoint and I came away with 3 items at great prices that I had been looking everywhere for all winter. They had the right colours and sizes and they were very helpful with suggestions and advice. They also do board servicing which I was pleased about as this will now be my local. Great experience I'll be going back!

Bought my first board and bindings from here today, good selection and good advice. I am a novice so didn't really know what I need so it was great to feel valued and not to be over sold. Would recommend the trip - travelled from Balham , took at hour.

I have purchased a number of items fromThe Snowboard Shop ranging from boots, outerwear, travel bags and others. Always they have had a fantastic knowledge of the products on the market including any products they do not stock.

They are very honest and trustworthy, indeed if they do not stock the ideal product for you they would recommend what you should buy and where else to go to get it.

As a snowboarder for over 15 years I was excited to see an independent shop open up on my doorstep. Since opening I have purchased a lot of kit as and when I needed to replace it. Darren, the owner, and his staff have a wealth of knowledge and know their products, and you get a more personal service over that of the bigger stores. I suppose testament to this is the fact that I never even consider looking at other stores or online retailers, as its important to buy the right board, bindings and boots for your ability and style of riding. Great range of products, top brands at sensible prices, servicing, fitting and a nice place to pop in and chat about all things snow. Recommended highly.
