The Ritz London Arvostelua 

I purchased a number of Ritz lunch vouchers for Christmas presents prior to covid in 2020. The vouchers could not be used due to covid and the only responsibility from the Ritz was to extend the vouchers period which did not fit with our uses.
Why would a company of this nature and status, refuse us use of the vouchers for a time frame that suits us, not them!
They were purchased to celebrate a very special occasion in 2020, which unfortunately resulted in the person for whom we were celebrating, passing away later that year.
A refund was refused and we informed them that we could not use the vouchers within the new time frame that they had set. This is not what we expected from from The Ritz. These were for lunch. Lunch does not expire. The money was paid to them but we have not had our food. The cost was hundreds of pounds.
I myself am on the lower end of the autistic spectrum. I have not been able to forget this experience and it will always remain with me. I am so sad. Shame on The Ritz and especially the management.

After few booking experience and attendance, I have understood, The booking system and customer service in this restaurant is based on how important one is. However, very poor booking system and customer service.

Afternoon tea at the Ritz was a birthday present.Every single member of staff was attentive and courteous, all dressed impeccably.The sandwiches and cakes were to an excellent standard and there was an extensive choice of tea blends and champagne.
Absolutely recommend a visit.

Very kindly took our orders over the phone- even reciting the menu- when we were running late for a birthday booking. Lovely room for a birthday celebration!

I had a wonderful experience celebrating my birthday at the Ritz. The food was fantastic, the service immaculate and the staff was extremely helpful going the extra mile to make me feel very special.

Well, what an absolutely amazing experience myself and my 2 daughter's had on 8/9/23, i booked Afternoon tea for my eldest's 40th birthday, and we wasnt disappointed. From the time we arrived at the door, the lovely man offered to take our photos, then the young man did some for us inside, we enjoyed a cheeky cocktail in the bar, then was greeted by Sebastian, who showed us to our table, and looked after us, we had lovely sandwiches, amazing pastries, and very nice tea and scones. i had ordered a birthday cake for my daughter, she was so surprised when they bought it to her, it was so lovely. The staff, service and food were exceptional, i would recommend anyone to experience it, even if its just once. Amazing!!!! thank you, xx

I have just had the most amazing experience of lunch at the ritz. We were a party of 5 ladies and three of us had a birthday this week to celebrate. All the staff were very attentive but in particular ‘Kevin’ from France was brilliant. The food was amazing and very delicious; we loved the piano player too. Not sure if this is the best place to leave a review as could not find a way to review through the website. Lovely way to spend time with friends on a Saturday afternoon and keen to let everybody know. We will be back again.

Went to the Rivoli Bar for a treat for my son's birthday and what a great experience. George/Sjors looked after our table and made this so enjoyable. He could not do enough to make this such a special day. Thank you so much.

The Ritz is without a doubt the best I have ever been to

Myself and partner had Afternoon Tea at the Ritz on Friday, and wow what a wonderful experience!
Staff were excellent, very attentive. The afternoon tea was plentiful with more added in the gorgeous Palm Terrace. We arrived early so had cocktails in the Rivole Bar which was lovely, the lovely doorman got us a taxi twice that day. As we arrived back for a late drink later in the evening!
We will definitely be back in the future-thank you for a fantastic experience! :)

We stayed here before and I have to say it has gone a little downhill.
The breakfast choice had a buffet you could choose from including fruit cereal rice etc is no longer available.
Tea went cold and no offer to change . bacon very thin, it use to be so much better than this, slot of waiters standing around,
The room was still very beautiful and staff very welcoming.

Was denied a visit to the bar due to wearing casual shoes. I have a genetic disorder that makes wearing dressy shoes impossible especially with cobblestone streets. They make no exceptions for people with disabilities. So ridiculous in 2023 to be so insensitive to people with disabilities.

The staff (hate that word staff) team Ritz? None of them can hold a candle to the Ritz team.

From the minute we got out of the limousine until the moment we got into the taxi to leave the whole experience was exceptional. Customer service was on another level as the staff knew our names and why were here which included a complimentary bottle of champagne 🍾 in our room upon arrival but the pinnacle of the whole experience was meeting the Head Chef ,Spencer Metzger as it was a special(secret)request from me for my wife to meet hilm as she's a huge fan of his and he was absolutely brilliant with us both and super nice with it, not any hint of arrogance, very engaged and patient, couldn't have asked for any more. He also sent a glass of champagne each as well as canapés at the evening meal which was totally unexpected. I would thoroughly recommend the Ritz London to anyone wanting a once in a lifetime experience. Fantastic. We will definitely be returning.

Good doormen welcomed us on entry excellent food rubbish staff are they not allowed to greet any one not asked if any of us had an allergy everything rushed I would not recommend this overpriced event to anyone

Me and my husband came to the Ritz for afternoon tea and the experience was absolutely sensational. The staff treat you as if you have been staying there for years and they know exactly how you’re feeling.

What made the experience even more amazing was that they sat us both side by side which is a strange seating arrangement for two but allows you to just take in the surroundings of the palm court!

I loved how despite the afternoon tea being as pricey as it is, you have replenish-able sandwiches which came to haunt us when we realised the waiters come round later on with an off of extra cake and slices.

What set this apart from other afternoon teas is that you can actually take home what you don’t eat and in true Ritz style the packaging is completely over the top but is stunning.

The whole experience came to around £200 but was 1000% worth it.

The ONLY let downs were the picture taking of the waiters and the door boy who was fluttering when we were handing over our bags to be stored.

Came for afternoon tea for my birthday and could not have been more pleased. Pristine surroundings, THE most attentive service. Food was beautiful which just kept on coming. Champagne and tea were high quality. Nothing was too much trouble. I was even presented with a birthday cake. Absolutely beautiful experience!

We had a great afternoon tea experience. Loved the tea! Tried different blends. Met the tea master who was polite and friendly. Great ambience and music. Definitely worth a visit!
