A Heartbreaking Experience — No Family Deserves This
I’m writing this with a lot of emotion because what happened to my friend and his family was truly devastating. This company presents itself as caring and community‑minded, but what we experienced was the complete opposite.
My friend — a father of two, with one child disabled — fell behind on rent after a short period of unemployment. He wasn’t asking for charity. He simply asked for a little time to catch up on the arrears. Instead of offering support or understanding, they pushed straight toward eviction. Even after he managed to gather the full amount with help from friends, they still refused to work with him. They forced his family out anyway.
What hurts the most is that this happened right before Christmas. A family that tried everything to stay on their feet was made homeless. Watching a family pack their entire life into bags, knowing their children wouldn’t have a home for the holidays, is something I will never forget. No company with a heart could allow that to happen.
And it didn’t end there. When he returned the house in perfect condition, they still took his entire deposit. They even charged him for normal marks on the carpet — the kind that naturally appear under sofas and beds in every home. It felt like they were determined to take as much from him as possible, even after everything he had already been through.
What makes all of this even more painful is how the company advertises itself — full of smiles, charity promotions, and claims that they “support people in need.” Based on what we lived through, that image is just for show. Behind the scenes, there was no compassion, no kindness, and no willingness to help a family who genuinely needed it.
This experience broke my trust completely. No family should be treated this way, especially during their most vulnerable moments.
