Amazing team of helpful and professional people, very accommodating to changes and nothing was a problem. I would definitely recommend and one of the easiest companies I've ever dealt with!

The company completely failed to help us adapt our holiday plans when they were disrupted by the weather. Despite not being able to do the walks, they would not change the accommodation so that we had to go to remote hotels with no reason to be there as we couldn't walk. Don't believe their claims - they're only interested in money.

Edit - their reply is accurate, but doesn't contradict what I said. It confirms they wouldn't change our accommodation (unless we paid) leaving us to stay in remote places where the only purpose of being there was to walk, which we couldn't do. A company that cared about it's customers would not have left them to have a pointless experience.

So glad I've discovered The Natural Adventure. Some great trips on offer for all levels of fitness.

I love this company. I used them for a self-guided trip in Amalfi Coast and then booked them again for the Mont Blanc Tour. When it was clear I booked a trip above my ability level, Victoria Gibbs gave me another option that worked great. She really worked hard with me to get me on the right trip, and was always quick in her replies. I felt like she really cared about me. And...the trips are great and well priced.

Our booking experience was very positive. Kat was able to adapt the holiday itinerary to suit our travel dates and hotel availability. Looking forward to the holiday!

Devious and dishonest. This company makes promises it can’t deliver. They took an £880 deposit from me for a walking holiday, sat on it for a month, then told me they couldn’t organise it. By this time it was too late for me to make alternative arrangements. Please think twice before getting sucked in by their false promises

I appreciate your response but this really misses the point. The fact remains I have been misled and I am left suffering the consequences. You seem to believe you should be entitled to walk away scot-free. If you had any integrity you would offer compensation. I have asked you about independent dispute resolution and you referred me to an organisation which no longer exists. The founder of your company, Peter Duncan, has washed his hands of it saying he does not deal with “operational matters”. It seems you are unaccountable and there is no form of redress when things go wrong. So, let my experience be a warning to others - PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE USING THIS COMPANY

We booked the Ultimate Scotland trip in March, for travel in September/October. From start to finish our experience with Natural Adventure was fantastic. The planning specialists were friendly with great response time and accommodated all of our requests (specific lodging on some nights; both walks planned around a specific date in Fort William, etc). On the walk itself, the app/digital guidebook provided was indispensable. Would definitely recommend & book with them again.

This was our third trip with Natural Adventures, as before, the trip and lead up to it went seamlessly and the communication from Jean and Claudia was extremely efficient and helpful. The self guided routes were easy to follow and the transfers to the trailheads also seamless. The accommodation at Casa Vista was perfect in everyway and restaurant options in the evenings were limited but excellent. We incorporated our trip with a few days in Malaga which we would thoroughly recommend. All in all, a superb holiday with great walking, beautiful scenery and wonderful accommodation. If you can request Casa Visa as accommodation option, we would definitely recommend this too. Thanks Natural Adventures, we are looking forward to our next trip with you next year.

We had a wonderful time hiking the a Fisherman’s Way in Portugal. The trip was so well organised by Claudia at The Natural Adventure Company. Everything went smoothly from our taxi pick up at Lisbon airport to our daily baggage transfers. We stayed in a variety of small hotels from the very simple to a delightful boutique hotel on the last night - all were spotlessly clean and well-run.
I will definitely book with the company again.

Sent an email direct from the website regarding concerns about limited flight times causing a delay getting to the first accommodation. Prompt reply and quickly reassured about their transfer service operating at any time. Extra info provided re additional extra nights at the beginning and end of the holiday. Very helpful. Told the cost of the transfers. But a footnote added that local train services are available and reliable.

We had an amazing cycling holiday along the Adriatic coast! It was easy to book and well costed. All the local contacts were very helpful and the bikes were great. The service hotline even booked a taxi for us when it was pouring with rain. Only downside was that some of the hotels were a little dated and if booking ourselves we would have stayed somewhere nicer…. Maybe paying for the better hotels would have been worth it!? Wood book again for a different trip :)

I had never done an organised hiking trip before and was not sure what to expect. Also I was not sure about Albania, based on some of the bad press we sometimes get.
Having said this, I had THE MOST AMAZING HOLIDAY in a while.

The 10 day point to point hiking trip was perfectly organised. Transportation was reliable and on time like clock work. Staff were super friendly.

Accommodation was fantastic, guest house hosts were super nice, food was fantastic.

Albania, especially hiking in the Northern mountains, is beautiful. We stayed in some absolutely magical valleys. But also the cities in Albania we saw were nice, as were the people.

Highly recommended as a travel destination and provider. We will certainly go with the guys again.

First I will say the customer service is quite good but unless I write two reviews I cannot say what I have to say. I was a solo traveler and I did not complete the Coast to Coast trail in England. I was just not comfortable with the route and the lack of waymarks. But what this is about is the charges for solo travelers which I feel is unjustified. I submitted a complaint but it falls on deaf ears and replies are the same boiler plate information. First the few rooms I stayed in before I quit the trip were not big enough for two people. They say they were big enough, but why would they book a room for two if I signed up as a solo. So I guess if solo people are willing to pay the penalty they will continue to charge it. So evidently they just want to screw the solo ones. So in my opinion if you are planning a trip with them and if they are going to charge the penalty then I suggest you find a company that does not charge a penalty. I will never use them again

Just completed a 6-night hiking trip in the Wachau wine producing region of Austria. Overall, a fun and educational trip. Trip operators both pre-and during hike were organized and responsive to our questions/requests. Trails were well marked, and the navigation app worked flawlessly, meaning we didn’t have to break out the paper maps at all. The scenery is very nice, with plenty of historical sites to entertain. Accommodations are better than one might expect for a rural area, with friendly service and great breakfast spreads. Enjoyed the small taverns (Heuriger) unique to the region. Generally no problems communicating in English, though our German-speaking Danish partners were helpful in some off-track situations.
A couple caveats - both the food and the wine can get a bit monotonous over a week, as you’re only covering a small area. Not a great region for vegetarians, but you’ll find something suitable on every menu regardless, plus some good fish/shellfish dishes. Carnivores will revel in the traditional meat-centric dishes. Final caveat- weather was brutally hot even in early July. If at all possible, book for spring or fall.

Great trekking! Gorgeous landscapes, nice accomodation (specially in Portree), useful and easy app with the intinerary. Good tranfers as well.
I hope I could have another experience like this with The Natural Adventure!

The accommodation was ok - although one hotel was very dilapidated - but was redeemed as the restaurant was great. The luggage transfers and the other transfers were good too. However, there were some issues which I think were due to poor communication and a lack of local knowledge. The walks averaged out at about 20 k a day but one day was 11k and we started late and had a leisurely lunch only to find that when we arrived at the town it was another 5 k walk to the hotel along a very busy road. This was not in the trip notes or on the gps guide given to us. Also at some hotels we had to pay a tax and at others, even in the same town, we didn't and we could have been informed about this. On the website, the tour was described as including 2 meals and a couple of packed lunches but we did not receive these. When I queried this when i returned home, they just said it was a mistake on the website description ( I noticed now they have taken it off). As I booked the group of 8 this was a bit embarrassing for me as the others members of the group thought they had paid for this. Sad to say no offer of compensation was offered. Needless to say this will probably deter us from using the company again.

This was a father and son trip - our first to Morocco and the desert. It was expertly coordinated by our lead guide Mohamed Maachou, who was ever-present and completely aware of all the details at all times. We stayed in his family home one night and his generosity and care was exceptional. Our mountain guide, Hassan, was equally adept, kind and very informative of local traditions and practices. In particular, his pacing on the mountain and management of mild altitude symptoms was masterful and completely confidence inspiring. Later in the trip we were driven into the desert and enjoyed quad biking, camel riding at sunset and sunrise and an over-night stay in a Berber camp. Again, our driver Mohamed was kind, courteous, attentive and proficient.
Overall this trip exceeded our expectations and was a wonderful - but safe - adventure.

A friend and I did the 115km self-guided walk from Sarria to Santiago with The Natural Adventure. We had a phenomenal experience with the company. Clear communication, excellent support and frankly amazing hotels and pensions for a very very reasonable cost. We stayed in 5 different accommodations during the walk and all were excellent. We also had included a tour of Santiago as well, which was also fantastic. We could not recommend The Natural Adventure more - they deserve all the plaudits and we are actively planning to do another walking experience with them in the not-too-distant future.

What an amazing experience. Professional service, great bikes. We had a fun week (despite the weather), and it is mainly because we didn't have to worry about accomodation or luggage transport, but to focus on ourselves.
The accomodations were good along the way and the guide book we got covered everything what we had to know.
I'm already thinking of the next experience with them.

The organisation, communication and level of care were excellent.
