Don't listen to visa agents. This evisa portal works fine. Maybe 2 years ago it had bugs but not now. Don't pay any visa agents to submit your evisa they will lie to you and say any fake story to get your money.

I have not applied for a long term visa on this website before, however it is the official government portal for doing such applications

Unfortunately I applied for a DTV whilst in the UK but then have been travelling before Visa came through. I was unaware this was not correct. I requested a refund, or a transfer of application to a new juristiction. I appeared to be offered this ie this was the implication in the emails. Then the offer was withdrawn after many confusing emails from them that kept giving contradictory information and not reading my repeated clear messages eg they kept offering me an interview at the London Embassy when i told them repeatedly I was in Indonesia until May2026 and needed my application transferred to Jakarta. In the end they have kept my £300 application fee and I have no DTV. Very unhappy and trust me my emails were all clear. I will not apply again, put me off Thailand as a place to reside.

The process is at the bottom end of usability. The restriction of any uploaded documents is ridiculously limited. Try loading one years of bank statement on a standard account. It is impossible, but if you compress the files they claim they can not read the attachment. Catch 22. You cannot upload a full file but if you compress it. Cannot be read. A 100% ridiculous 3MB limitation that is impossible to overcome. No help option, no one assistance. A terrible design.

Depuis toujours, nous obtenons nos visas sans réelles difficultés.
Mais en 2025, compte tenu des rejets que nous avons essuyé pour des motifs futiles évoqués, on peut considérer que le site est devenu un racket autorisé sans possibilité de recours.
A chaque refus il faudra re-payer pour tenter d'obtenir votre visa si toutefois les personnes qui contrôlent sont de bonne humeur.
C'est un vrai scandale. Asterix et la maison des fous.
Existe t'il des personnes de bon sens ?

Took me nearly 2 hours to fill out this form. I have payed 350 CHF for a DTV Visa application. The application was canceled due to a very small typing mix in the Name. There is no chance or opportunity to correct this. They told me I need to apply again and also pay 350 CHF again. I call that as fraud! Unbelievable how official representatives of a highly valuated country cheat People who are interesting for applying a official offered VISA.

Again bad service yester day i got an email of them, where thy ask me again for some documents. Like Registration certification, flight tickets in and outbound. ant may bankstatment. i did organize all things for them and uploaded everything the right way, but at my bankstatment i cant see what i did upload. if i push the button it tels me "supporting documents preview" what ever it means i have no clue. i choosed the german version but it is only half in german. Now i am here again and dont know i am done with the process. Thaievisa you shold do much better, and i dont belive you are care about your customer, as you say on your website. You suck again

yes this is official Thai government website. be aware that "thaievisa.org" is fake and pretends to be Thai government but that is Europe agency.

It's not a scam, it's the original website to apply for e-visa. That's really sad, though.
Uploading the documents didn't work, took me more than 5 trys. You'll have to enter all data again. After more than two hours I completed a process that usually takes about 10 minutes.

do not use this website also do not use any visa agents in Bangkok, both approaches are just scams. the only way to get a visa extension honestly in Thailand is walking inside the Immigration office and playing their games and do not pay 1 penny more than the official price or you are a sucker.

Bad website. No subsequent viewing of documents possible. Claim that the number of my passport does not match the picture sent. Visa application rejected, EUR 70 lost. No telephone number, no e-mail address for complaints. Fraud.

Spettabile Ambasciata e Consolato in questione, lo scrivente signor Nome Cognome vi dichiara quanto segue, il visto con il numero di riferimento: in questione presentato in data: 15/10/2023 dell'importo di Euro centesimi: 35,00, ho incominciato ad eseguirlo con il mio elaboratore elettronico (computer) portatile, ed in fase di esecuzione nell'immagine, nella schermata (screenshot) che mi avete inviato, i vostri computer, i vostri server, i vostri sistemi informatici continuavano insistentemente, persistentemente, resistentemente, con forzature, pressioni e pretese, ad inserire le lettere seguenti: in questione nei due (2) campi, nelle due (2) caselle di testo chiamate, denominate e rinominate: "Middle Name (if any)" e "Former Name (if any)", di conseguenza ero sempre costretto a cancellare, eliminare e rimuovere le lettere precedentemente menzionate, ma purtroppo i vostri computer, i vostri server, i vostri sistemi informatici, impostavano come azione predefinita la negatività e la problematica che vi sto descrivendo e segnalando.

Infine non riuscendo a sistemare questi errori, questi sbagli di programmazione (bugs), che hanno prodotto i vostri ingegneri, i vostri tecnici informatici, i vostri computer, i vostri server, i vostri sistemi informatici, per la mancanza di aggiornamenti e delle manutenzioni del vostro sito Internet ufficiale: in questione, ho proseguito la richiesta del visto con il mio cellulare intelligente (smartphone), ma purtroppo anche con questo altro dispositivo non riuscivo a cancellare, eliminare e rimuovere le lettere precedentemente menzionate, allora io ho pensato che andasse bene così come i vostri computer, i vostri server, i vostri sistemi informatici, avevano impostato come azione predefinita, ed alla fine ho completato la domanda, la richiesta del visto.

Siccome io ho già pagato la domanda, la richiesta del visto che mi avete annullato, pretendo che gli ingegneri, i tecnici informatici che hanno commesso gli errori, gli sbagli con i vostri computer, i vostri server, i vostri sistemi informatici, evitando e non facendo fare gli aggiornamenti e le manutenzioni al vostro sito Internet ufficiale: in questione, mi restituiscano loro i miei soldi già pagati alla vostra Ambasciata, al vostro Consolato, oppure dovete fare in modo di correggere e sistemare gli errori e gli sbagli non imputabili allo scrivente signor Nome Cognome, ma facendo assumere le colpe e le responsabilità ai vostri ingegneri e tecnici informatici, in modo che mi possiate inviare la domanda, la richiesta del visto nella mia casella di posta elettronica seguente: in questione.

Rarely found people so picky for a visa application: cannot read properly this time, send me some more proof that time, bank details need to be signed and stamped, all in pdf please, but nothing more than 700Ko... Seriously?

I did quiet a few visa for various country, and here, it really feels they do not really want us to get it!
On the phone they ask me to send mails, and by mails each reply is a BOT, or a person who is not really considering the mail content.

Last year i submit an application for a 6 months visa (175 euros), but they did not deliver it to me in time, and wrote me a mail THE DAY AFTER MY ARRIVAL (that was amazing!!!) telling me to send them a new flight ticket and new reservations for hotels...
I asked them not to reject my demand (as they wished to docause i was already gone) but to keep it in their system for me to complete it and renew it for my next trip when i'll be back in my country.

As my new trip was coming up i sent them a mail telling them that my application was still valid, and asked them which documents did they want me to renew: i received a BOT mail telling me that everything should be in pdf and each one ot more than 700Ko... (so... which documents sir??? hummm). So i bought my ticket and did all what was needed to renew ALL of it.

I finally received a mail kind of: "sorry but we cannot access your application anymore, and you will have to proceed for a new one" WHAT??? (175 euro for the new one...)

So nope, also i really appreciate thai people and their amazing kingdom, i'm not neither happy, neither convinced about the efficiency of this company.
But wait, as i had my new flight, i paid again, did all good (more or less), and after 2 months, i've got it...
I'm sure they'll do better for you! Might just have been bad luck, isn't it?

Scam and rip off. They pretend they don’t understand what you are sending them, asking nonsensical questions to prevent you from getting visa for 60 days or more. In result you have to fly out of the country and back every 30 days. They are stealing your $200 application fee.

Payment sent but no confirmation. Fingers crossed this works!
