They used to be a fantastic company.....but they've turned too capitalistic, and forgotten what made them a fantastic company. Now it's pay for anything and everything, and as soon as something is deemed 'too old', they remove ALL info on it, even though they continue to sell it on their website, have links to old URL's that no longer work, and refuse to provide any info if a user needs it.

Now, they are just money grubbing capitalists. And if you complain? You're just a disgruntled customer.....
Yet I have receipts going back to 2018 of things I have purchased from them.

Honestly, look elsewhere.

Hello, Aaron - To clarify the facts for anyone reading: at no point was this customer told a support contract or a $15 monthly subscription was required. Those claims are a complete fabrication. The customer requested documentation for a product purchased two years ago that has been discontinued. Our documentation system changed since then, and that legacy data was not migrated.

Despite the libelous claims and unprofessional conduct, I took the time to locate an archive of the original documentation via the Wayback Machine to ensure they had the information they needed. Regarding the ABL sensor offsets, these are measurements any user can obtain with a ruler or calipers. It is unreasonable to demand personalized support for a legacy product that is well beyond any warranty or support period.

The customer's only purchase in 2026 was a $7 firmware package which explicitly includes no support. All other orders date back to 2024. Because of their behavior, we have issued a full refund for that $7 purchase and permanently banned them from our store. We have no interest in wasting resources fighting fraudulent chargebacks that cost significantly more than the value of the order.

I have significant professional and personal priorities, including my wife being hospitalized for over two weeks with pregnancy complications. I will not spend further time addressing these complaints or the refusal to perform basic manual measurements on their own equipment.

This account is closed and we will not be engaging in further communication.

Bought 2 couplers and received 2 different ones...

Ordered two couplers and received two different couplers, one of them being a knock off trying to mimic the original listing. They appeared the same externally, but looking closer at the details the external and internal parts are very different despite being ordered from the same listing. Very dodgy seller and doesn't check for this sort of thing? I specifically bought from this seller for quality but I might as well order from AliExpress or Amazon...

Wonderful Service!

Your services are wonderful with great technicians that know what they're doing! Packaging was well done to protect the unit. So much so that it blew my silly attempt at packing my own machine out of the water. Even talking with the technicians was positive and encouraging. I'm a novice at 3D printing, but nobody gave me grief for my mistakes or poor attempts at fixing my own printer. They even gave me great advice and suggestions on how to proceed with my repairs. I will definitely use this company as my first choice when I have any more 3D printer malfunctions. Thank you guys!

Ender 3 Neo firmware for ver 4.2.7 mainboard

Went to and purchased firmware for my Ender 3 Neo running mainboard 4.2.7 for $7. Downloaded, compiled and installed the firmware and tried to do a bed level but, after doing the home check, it went to the first position but the probe was off of the bed so when it did the Z check, the nozzle hit the bed and pushed it down hard. I opened a ticket and was basically told that I would need to purchase the support for an additional $30 for them to help me.

As noted in the ticket, you are using a 4.2.7 board with a highly modified hotend setup. When using non-standard hardware, specific firmware adjustments are required to account for physical offsets.

Despite you acknowledging that you did not purchase technical support, we still assisted you. We identified the issue based on your photos and explicitly told you that you needed to use the HOME_ADJUST feature to compensate for your modified hardware. We also verified our files were downloading correctly to rule out server issues.

Rather than following the technical advice provided or purchasing the necessary support for your custom build, you chose to insult our user interface and resorted to name-calling, stating: "Ban me from your website, jerk!".

We have a zero-tolerance policy for abuse toward our staff. As you requested, you have been banned from our platform. We stand by our commitment to professional and fair customer support.

These Guys really know their business! Trust is earned and he has mine!

Tim has been incredibly helpful in understanding my issue and ensuring that entire printer health has been checked and fixed. I started with a Prusa mk3s+ that was second hand 'upgraded' by an individual. these upgrades made it impossible to troubleshoot from a home user perspective. If you don't eat, sleep, and breathe 3d printers it was impossible to fix. The printer had issues with z axis calibration, print quality, and user based issues. Tim has identified problems with original printed items, wiring, and assisted me in understanding with pictures what the problems have been. He has taken the time to print parts, correct wiring connections and kept me informed throughout the process. I am grateful and excited to see what this thing can do when it gets back home.

Three weeks of endless frustration and counting

I've spent about three weeks now "upgrading" my printer with these people and I'm DONE. The "Kit" came missing the control module ooopsie they said "forgot to pack it" okay.. happens but then it came time to set everything up. The supplied bolts are short, the holder holes don't align, the bed mounts.. well those are just ridiculous and simply unusable, then it literally states in their guide "DO THIS but be aware might brake your bed or extruder but don't worry if it does just flip the switch next time and it will work.." right so yes, there is a hole in one of my beds.. Also so you know they feed you their own nonsense firmware that "should work for any printer" and yet nothing works. My prints are all weird dimensions now and absolutely don't reflect what I'm seeing on the screen. And the cherry on top is their support system that doesn't let you log in the second time where I'm 99% sure I'm using the right credentials BUT in case that I forgot my password there is literally no "forgot password" or any kind of recovery. It's absurd to say the least I've held it together for 3+ weeks trying to sort things out (and it's still not sorted) and I'm DONE. Hope this review at least saves other people the absolutely endless frustration dealing with TH3D because it's actually more like a THURD

Update 10-11-2024: Well I guess the owner/support person finally got the customer support msg 6 months later.. I'd normally say better late than never but in this case it's too late. My printer has been left broken and I got a new one after the whole "upgrade kit" experience. The build plate has a hole in it and firmware is so messed up I don't even know where to begin fixing it. Anyway, I moved on, however...

Now, 6 months later, The-owner decided to go on posting private conversations publicly so once again I feel I must return to dealing with this nonsense. Dear Mr.Owner, I'd like to add a few excluded pieces of information and clarify a few things:

1. This is not OK!
2. Purchase was made April 30, 2024 I gave up trying to fix my "upgraded" printer May 24, 2024.
3. I emailed, used your whacky support system, called and messaged you guys on discord.
4. Threatening to "close my ticket" after me giving you all the benefits of the doubt and after 2 months of trying to make it work because "I'm frustrated" is not how you earn any kind of respect or customers. It is however exactly how you get bad reviews.
5. Trying to get honest reviews removed by flagging them for "defamatory content" instead of fixing your processes and/or your support system isn't the right thing either and is definitely not how you fix bad reviews.

In any case I hope this can be put to rest now and I wont have to ever come back. I'll leave the title as is instead of renaming it to "two months of frustration" and wish you another great "7 years of business" which you so pompously let me know about.

Thank you, but no thank you.

I wanted to provide an update and share the full ticket for your reference, where you can see all the interactions with Richard: https://bit.ly/RichardMC8766Ticket. You'll notice that we responded promptly in each case. Unfortunately, Richard’s emails have been increasingly rude, and he’s now blocked due to his behavior.

Update 10/11/24: Our ticket system works entirely through email, so Richard can easily reply to any of our messages to keep the ticket open. Our system automatically follows up after 3 days of no response, and if there’s still no reply after 5 days, it closes the ticket. The only issue we had was a missing part in his order, which we immediately sent and apologized for (you can see this in the ticket, where we responded quickly, even at 1 AM).

Richard can always reopen the ticket by replying to any of our emails. As shown in the ticket, we provided clear instructions, but Richard became hostile from the start. The issue he reported with the firmware stems from not following the directions we gave in both the firmware and the ticket itself.

This situation is a case of miscommunication on the customer’s end, where he is trying to place the blame on us. Unfortunately, Richard has been unwilling to respond appropriately to the email chain, which is the main way to keep the ticket active. The ticket system’s web interface is simply an alternative, but not required for communication.

We even confirmed with our phone representative that Richard was given the same instructions over the phone as were outlined in the ticket. It seems like this has been a challenging situation, but we remain committed to helping our customers in every way we can.

Update 10/7/24: The issues Richard encountered are the result of not following directions on the ticket system and website. Password reset options are clearly listed on both the ticket system and contact pages.

We reached out again to offer help, and Richard’s response was rude and unprofessional. While we always strive to provide support, we do not tolerate abusive behavior towards our team.

Original Response to His Review from 10/7/23:
Hello Richard,

Thank you for reaching out, and I apologize for the delayed response. Due to some challenges we've faced with TrustPilot and their costly fees, we’ve shifted our focus away from regularly monitoring this page.

Regarding your question about the EZABL board, the switch is there to accommodate different wiring setups based on how the endstop is connected to your board. We recommend using the M119 command to test your setup, as it doesn’t require homing and poses no risk to your machine. This should help you determine if the switch needs to be flipped.

Regarding the prints coming out wrong, you made a ticket about that and we replied immediately telling you about the setting in the firmware you need to change for your particular printer model as those models came with 2 different leadscrews and one requires an additional setting.

As for the alignment issue with the “holder holes,” I’m sorry to hear you're experiencing trouble. If you could send us a ticket, we’d be happy to take a closer look and assist you further.

Concerning our ticket system, just a quick reminder: on our contact page, we note that the ticket system and main website operate separately. If you need to reset your ticket system password, there’s a link provided on the ticket system login page AND our Contact Us page. Alternatively, you can always respond directly via email and bypass the web interface entirely.

Extra charges for support of their own product.

Not impressed. They keep having technical issues all the time which is annoying. Support of their own products costs extra which is a dick move if their product is faulty
