Teachers Test Prep Arvostelua 

I freaked out when I couldn't find the link for the class I signed up for, and got an email response within 5 minutes (even though it was outside business hours!) I was (and still am) very nervous about the test, but the class was fantastic and full of step by step guidance through the entire exam, including tips for success. I plan on continuing to study and practice her tips and hope it helps in the end! Definitely worth it!!!

Katie's Praxis Core Writing course was very helpful and she did a wonderful job. She spent ample time on each topic, and she explained nuances and potential trickiness where applicable. She also broke down every practice question, answer by answer, to make sure we understood why answers were correct and/or incorrect, and how we ought to approach the different types of questions in the writing portion of the praxis core.

The class was very helpful. I enjoyed Jennifer's class as all questions were answered and explained clearly. I would highly recommend her class. I will take again if I need to.

Michael was the best teacher. He always stops during the slides to see if anyone has any questions and it’s very helpful. I would definitely recommend. Although the classes are fast paced.

Took all 3 Subtest classes for the RICA exam. I was happy to say it helped me pass Subtest lll and now focusing on the other two with the information gained from the classes. Instructor was super sweet and easy to understand.

The questions and answers are good explanations of the test.

After failing my exam the first time using a different test prep provider, I turned to Teachers Test Prep to see if their material would prepare me better. They definitely had more helpful material. The organization and structure of the website was particularly helpful, especially with specific lessons to as "why this matters, and you will likely see this on your test." There wasn't a lot of unecessary fluff, just to the point and helpful. I would highly recommend Teachers Test Prep to anyone attempting to pass a California Credential for Teaching.

I really enjoyed the Math sessions with Katie. She explains really well.
She is an amazing and supportive instructor.

My teacher (Jennifer Herring) was patient and did a really good job at explaining and reviewing various topics.

Positives about Jennifer:
1. Very knowledgeable.
2. Eager to help us gain understanding.
3. Prompt in stopping and reviewing/elaborating on key information.
4. All around pleasant instructor.

Areas that need improvement:
1. The math lecture moved way too fast. I would have appreciated a slower pace. Teachers Test Prep may want to add one more Zoom class so that instructor does not have to rush through material.
2. Math problems should be worked out step by step. She should say and write, “Step 1. Do this... Step 2. Do that... and so forth.”
3. Teachers Test Prep should create a page that shows the practice question and answers, but also has enough room for instructor to work out problems step by step. Jennifer had to find random room on page to work out problems. It’s hard to go back and review notes that are jumbled like that.
4. Also, there were problems with internet connection during every class.

I paid $175 for this class. It would have been more helpful if the instructor would have slowed down and wrote down the steps so that I could go back and review on my own.

Myesha's class was great - I felt confident and prepared going in to my exam. She added in helpful insights all throughout the class and stayed on at the end of class until everyone had gotten their Qs answered - even though our class was on Mother's Day. Thank you Teachers Test Prep!

This was my first time using Teachers Test Prep and having Kate Williams as my LIVE Online Prep teacher for the RICA. I really enjoyed her style of teaching because she was very clear in how she shared the information about what to expect and the way she divided the two sessions. I also felt that the way the Case Study was explained was super helpful! Would recommend 100%

The instructional videos and 2 practice tests for the CPACE Content test were excellent.
The analytics I received about my areas of weakness helped greatly when I was studying. I was able to pass the Content exam on my first try and did very, very well. I highly recommend this course.

Myeasha was very helpful with the CPACE performance test. There was a lot of jumping around in the beginning which is fine because a lot of people had questions but if there was a portion for questions instead of right in the beginning of the test session, I would have been more engaged. Another reason was probably because of the high student attendance (over 50 students). Myeasha did her best to answer any questions and guide us in the direction of the answers.

There was nothing helpful. Suggestion to retype the sample the teacher wrote over and over is not worth the price. She was defensive when a number of participants were frustrated that she was spending a long time answering questions appropriate for a Q and A at the end or to be placed in a “parking lot”. The actual course did not begin until about 50 minutes after the start time.

Absolutely not worth the money unless you do not have the knowledge to be ethically taking the test.

Myesha was great. She navigated questions, conflicting personalities, and content like a pro. It is clear she knows what she is doing. I passed the CPACE Content first try after taking her course, and I feel confident going into my first try with the CPACE Performance. She gave me all the tools I need to pass these tests, now it is up to me to use them. Thank you Myesha!
