I have been using Synnex now TD Synnex for the past 10 years, and generally have had a decent experience. Prices were good and service was good through my account manager.
Unfortunately, they have changed the way they do account management. They outsourced my account to a single person who cannot figure out how to place license orders, or anything beyond simple hardware orders. It takes days, sometimes more than a week, of back and forth to try to get an order placed. It's to the point where I would rather just spend the extra money and order through Ingram Micro.
What's worse is there is no recourse. I called customer service, but they only deal in RMAs. I called the numbers they have given me for a direct supervisor for my account manager, but both numbers were out of service. I called into their sales line, but I got a person who was obviously surprised to receive a call, and their headset wasn't working, so they couldn't hear me.
I am very frustrated and there is no way for a word to get through to anyone that matters. I will not be participating in their events, I will not be using their Renewalsoft, and certainly wont be ordering anything more complicated than a computer from them unless I have to...and those are usually more expensive now than Ingram Micro anyway.
