A single solution for LGS
Honestly, I put off switching software for way too long because I figured the migration headache wouldn't be worth it. I was wrong.
One of the things that's impressed us most is the TCGplayer connection. I genuinely didn't think it was possible to sync with TCGplayer without going through their API — every other option we looked at either needed credentials we couldn't get or relied on some sketchy scraper/extension setup. TCG Sync just... does it. You log in with your normal TCGplayer account and your listings, prices, and orders stay in step automatically. No hoops.
I'll be honest, we underestimated how much this would change things. Once it was live, our orders picked up so fast we had to actually pull some listings back because we couldn't keep up with fulfillment. That's not a complaint you get to make very often.
Beyond the TCGplayer stuff, the day-to-day operations side is where it's really paid off. Singles, sealed, graded cards, accessories, even our in-store events — all of it lives in one catalogue instead of us jumping between different tools trying to keep numbers straight. Our buylist used to mean someone sitting there manually checking prices for an hour; now the pricing rules do most of that work, and we just review before payouts go out. The POS ties our in-store sales into the same system as our online orders, so nothing gets double-counted or missed between channels.
We also kept eBay and Card Nexus running alongside TCGplayer, and all three stay matched without extra manual work — same inventory, same prices, updated everywhere at once. On top of that, our customers get the stuff they actually expect from a card shop online: wishlists, store credit for trade-ins, a deckbuilder they mess around with, event sign-ups. It doesn't feel like a bolted-on storefront, it feels like a real shop.
But honestly, what's kept us loyal is the support. Any time we've hit a snag — even small stuff, like a weird pricing edge case or a question about how a sync handled a specific listing — someone actually responds, and fast. We're not talking about a ticket that sits for three days waiting on a canned reply. We've messaged them and had a real answer, from someone who clearly knows the product, within the same day, sometimes within the hour. For a shop like ours where a stuck listing or a pricing mismatch can actually cost us sales, that responsiveness matters more than people give it credit for.
Getting set up was quick too — we were fully live within a couple days of starting onboarding, which we were not expecting given how migrations usually go.
It's been worth it.
