Well stocked tackle shop with friendly knowledgeable staff. Was a great help picking out my new rods and reels with unbiased advice and not simply trying to sell me the most expensive.
Have shopped online as well with no issues. Would certainly recommend.

Visited The Tackle Box for the first time today. Its an hours drive for me and I have to pass several other anglers shops to get there. Well worth it.
Was introduced to Gary the rod builder who spent 45 minutes advising me on exactly how to refurb three of my favourite rods, new cork etc. It was like one on one training. Brilliant.The shop itself is an Aladdins cave and the staff were friendly and very helpful.Would I recommend them, yes without hesitation.Will I return, definitely.

An absolute pleasure to do business with, they were short of stock for the items i required so i asked when more stock might be available, expecting very little feedback they stated a week or two, however 3 hours later i was contacted by them to say stock had just arrived and allowed me to purchase before it was even placed on the shelves.
For the member of staff to go out of there way to remember me, look up my contact information, help me purchase and get it sent same day was a show of fantastic customer service that i rarely come across.

Ive been visiting The Tackle Box for over 18 years and today I've experienced absolutely disgusting customer service by the owners Gary and Kevin Pete. Having drove 30 miles this morning as I no longer live locally, I was refused entry. I have a non visual disability and exempt to wearing a mask. I showed my exemption badge at the door and there response was "why do you have an exception badge, you look fit and healthy to me".  I have never been discriminated and felt so belittled in my life all because I have no stereotypical physical disability. I was also told that if I was to enter the shop I could potentially give his staff covid! They still refused entry and told me to just put on the mask if I wanted to come in. After going back and fourth they offered to bring the items to the door but because I wanted to compare a couple of items they "didn't have the time to faff around". I left empty handed and disgusted by such behaviour which was also witnessed by 2 other customers. After being a loyal customer for about 18 years spending what would equate to thousands I will no longer be shopping at this shop and will gladly take my business elsewhere!!

Excellent service and help. The team repaired my old Coleman stove and the turnaround was very quick.
Generally the staff there were extremely helpful and polite, especially Mark, something which we do not often experience these days.
I would recommend them for any of their services.

Excellent days fishing. stopped into the tackle box for some friendly advice on which arm to fish how best to fish the arms and best spot's I.E no snags hehe. Dave in the shop was great had loads of tips and advice and made sure I had the right rigs and bait for the day and cheap as chips. also massive shout and thanx to Phil the Bass who also helped me out massively with more tips and just a really nice friendly guy. all in all awesome day out please do try out the arms and speak to the guys can't thank them enough will be returning soon as possible for more fun and fish.

I can't take it away from this lot needed a charger and batteries for my bait boat rang Thursday lunchtime said I going away Saturday for a week so needed them before Saturday. Bang all turned up today not even 24 hours. Cheers guys

Some items are a little pricey not sure if a price match is offered on larger items?

This is the worst business i have ever used, they advertise out of stock items and leave you days and days without getting in touch about it, the refunds take a life time, they still have items showing as in stock even after emails saying they are now out of stock. very quick to take your money and very very slow to get it back to you, communication is lacking in every step of and order always chasing them and not getting anything back i will NEVER use these again and i hope this review save you a lot of stress STAY CLEAR OF THIS BUSINESS!

Ordered some bait Saturday, had a phone call on the Monday to ask with extra flavours I would like, as it it was buy 2 get 1 free. They arrived on the Tuesday. Brilliant service, brilliant communication and will recommend them.
