Sytner Group - Sytner Select Bristol Arvostelua 

After a shaky start, the AI robot seemingly didn’t pass through my request for information for over 48 hours. I’d given up hope of getting any information when in stepped Lauren at Sytner in Bristol.
She apologised and immediately started answering my questions ( and I ask a lot of questions 😂). Lauren was extremely helpful and sent me a personalised video of the vehicle I was interested in.
Ultimately we didn’t conclude the deal due to the cost of delivering to Scotland from Bristol but it didn’t take away from the professional experience I received from Lauren.
If you’re looking for a vehicle in the Bristol area I’d recommend Lauren as a good starting point.

Tom and Ariz privided great customer service, explained everything clearly and were both very helpful and personable.

We have mixed reviews on our experience at Sytner. Talha was friendly and helpful from the start and did his best to assist us, although we were given several different finance figures before finally agreeing the deal, which caused unnecessary confusion.

After paying the deposit for the car, we then had to wait almost a week to collect the car due to the manufacturer recall. We completely understand that this wasn’t Sytner’s fault, but throughout that period we didn’t feel like our purchase was being prioritised or that there was much urgency. As an apology, they did honour a full tank of fuel, which we appreciated.

We viewed the car twice before collection. On both occasions it hadn’t been cleaned, which isn’t a major issue in itself, but it had the same large bird dropping on the bonnet both times. After the car was finally valeted for collection, it became clear that the bird droppings had damaged the paint underneath. Tom advised there was nothing that could be done and that there were currently no products available to fix it. We understand age-related wear on a used car, but it was disappointing that this wasn’t identified or discussed beforehand, and no goodwill gesture or compensation was offered regarding the damage.

Tom and Arriz were helpful when they took over the sale, and we do appreciate the complimentary fuel which we were promised by Talha in the first place, but the overall buying experience fell below what we expected from a premium dealership. We’re happy with the car itself, but the communication, delays and handling of the issues meant the process wasn’t as smooth or customer-focused as we’d hoped.

I recently went in to look at buying a new car and was greeted with Freya. I was pleased with her service when she recommended me a car after I had told her what my preferences would be. I highly recommend using her to buy a new car and I was very happy to when drove away with my purchase!

Very quick to sell you a car, but trying to book any kind of service, MOT or repair after you've purchased your car is a nightmare. No answer if you call, and any messages or emails not responded to.

Just thought I'd update my review given thats the only way to get a response and no one responds to emails.

I appreciate the invitation to contact you, although I must admit it is somewhat ironic that after being unable to get a response to my calls, emails and messages regarding my car, I am now being told that someone is keen to discuss my concerns.

Unfortunately, my Trustpilot review was based on my actual experience, rather than a one-off inconvenience. The most recent incident has only reinforced my concerns.
I brought my car in for a service and to have a part repaired/replaced. I was then told that the part needed to be ordered and that you would need to keep my car until the following day so the work could be completed once the part arrived.

I was perfectly happy to leave the car with you on that basis.

What I wasn't expecting was to receive no communication whatsoever to tell me whether the part had arrived, whether the work had been completed, or when I could collect my car. Despite calling several times and being told that someone would get back to me, nobody did.

I eventually had to come down to the garage before closing, only to discover that the work had not been carried out.
(No complimentary car wash either)

At that point, I had no choice but to take my car away because I needed it for work the following day. I have since had to arrange for the issue to be fixed elsewhere, which rather defeats the purpose of bringing the car to you in the first place.

Quite an impressive customer journey really I brought the car to Sytner for a service and repair, left it with you overnight as requested, made several attempts to find out what was happening, received no meaningful communication, and ultimately had to take the car elsewhere to actually get the work done.

I have also paid for an extended warranty, which is rather difficult to have confidence in when simply getting a response about a repair is proving to be such a challenge. At the moment, it appears to be considerably easier to purchase a car from Sytner Select than to receive the after-sales support that comes with it.

And, of course, I was also offered a free car wash if I changed my Trustpilot review. I have to say, that was an interesting approach to customer service. Unfortunately, a complimentary car wash doesn't really compensate for having to chase repeatedly for updates and ultimately arrange the repair elsewhere. Although I suppose it does at least demonstrate that there is someone capable of making contact when they want something from the customer.

I am happy to discuss my concerns with you, but I would like to see some meaningful action rather than another promise that someone will get back to me.

I look forward to hearing from you, hopefully this time, someone actually will.

Bought my car from Harry Pugh. He went above and beyond, collected my car from a different store and was a great help over all. shame that the manger took so long to come over.

Fantastic experience, went in for a test drive, and bought a car within the week. Great staff. Zuzanna was fantastic as was Jake. Many thanks to all.

In May I wrote this review:
Sytner Bristol sold my daughter a Landrover Discovery less than a year ago with an extended warranty. The after sales service has been terrible! The company never answer the phone or respond to emails. The car has been in for an expensive repair (not covered by warranty) but all the same warning lights are still on and despite multiple phone calls and emails the company have not responded. Finally she has been stranded today with another engine warning light telling her not to drive the car. Please do not be fooled by the sales patter - if you want any level of service after purchase do not buy from this company. We have tried to contact head office today and phone is not answered.

I never had further contact from Sytner Bristol or HQ and my daughter is still without a car.
The car was taken by recovery vehicle to Sytner Select Bristol from whom an extended warranty had been purchased with the car. Communication was terrible and there were many excuses. Eventually they said the car needed to go to JLR Bristol also owned by Sytner but my daughter needed to book it in there and then they would arrange transfer of the car. Sadly service here has been no better. Having bought a fairly new car from what they thought was a reliable company and an extended warranty she is left with 1 year old twins and no car when her husband is away with work. Over two months with no car and chasing every step of the way to try to get the issues resolved. Still no indication of when the car might be fixed. To reiterate DO NOT BUY FROM SYTNER SELECT BRISTOL!

Although my purchase never worked out in the end (due to personal reasons), her service and approach was impeccable from start to finish and I will have no hesitation in recommending Bristol sytner to friends and family.
