My third mini bought from Mini Sytner Loughton. Marcel and Matt provide a first class service along with Amy and Alana in service.

We ordered our second BMW with you back in July last year. Sadly the whole motor industry suffered delays with components and delivery. Our sales person Jazzmin Perry was very informative and kept up her communication to us during the long wait. She was honest and apologetic. Something that made us feel safe and secure about. Jazzmin is a credit to you sales team and we would like her to know that her service and care was much appreciated. She should be a valued member of your team.

Very pleased with the service I got , when I came in to buy a mini , Marcel was very helpful as was Matthew in finance , would definitely recommend friends if they were looking to buy a new car , I was kept informed as to when my car would be in, so I would give them 10/10 for being so helpful and dealing with any problems I had very quickly.

Went to look at a smart car today, i was greeted by a ladish sales executive, the first greeting was “what do you think mate” not a hello, not a lets go out side ill show you the car.

After about five minutes it was very apparent that the peeling lacquer on the bonnet was not going to negotiated in relation to either a discount or a repair.

I was told the day before that the marks would polish out, and that the car was in a pre wash state, they wont polish out its lacquer peeling. I was then told by the sales executive today that car was in a ready state, so even though the day before the marks would polish out today they wont and they wont even work with me to have the bonnet repaired before purchase.

I was told that it costs £450 to paint a smart car bonnet, i was also told the whole car would need to be painted, thats rather debatable in my eyes and it was also insinuated what do know about cars.

Over looking this i asked if i could test drive it, i was told no. Apparently it needs a pre safety check before i can drive it even though its on the front for sale in her eyes a ready sale state, another sales man comes over and when asked if he would pay £8,000 for a car with peeling lacquer and unable to test drive would he, he seemed gobsmacked and mentioned that it was the first time he had heard of that. Would i have traveled 60 miles if i had known i couldn’t even test drive it?

Cut a long story short, i found the staff ladish and abit bullish just trying to to get a deposit out of me, when the deal seemed to be off the sales person didn’t seem really bothered and just went “Give me your long card number ill get the money back to you mate”

Would i buy from here? No would i recommend it? No i understand i Didnt get the deal I’m not writing this because of that I’m writing this because as a franchise that is selling cars of £2,500,000 its staff Didnt stand up to it standards.

I have been a loyal Sytner customer since 2009. The customer service advisers have always been great and I have trusted them implicitly. After a horrible experience this week with one of the Managers, however, (following some damage to my car during service), I have decided reluctantly that I will never visit Sytner again. I was initially dismissed by email and in order to get any satisfaction, I was forced to go along in person for an embarrassing and public confrontation. Only then did he accept any responsibility at all for the damage to my car. Not many women would have had the courage to go along to challenge in person as I did, and frankly, I shouldn't have had to. Following my visit, and realising I would not be shrugged off so easily, he subsequently made 2 differing offers to pay for the damage to my car. The first would have left me paying £150 towards the repair. Only once I had gone to the trouble of having someone independently look at the damage did he agree to cover the cost of an outside repair, (which I would need to organise myself!) I have declined both offers. After such a humiliating and stressful experience, I feel I never want to have any dealings with Sytner again - such a shame.

From enquiring to purchase recieved great service.
Sales team (Jack) helpful, good communication throughout through emails and calls. Not feeling pressured to buy. Fair with negotiations.

** update ** Mini Chigwell have now offer to cover up to £250.00 to cover the repair.

Bought my 2016 Mini Countryman a few weeks ago. I had planned to travel down to Chigwell to have a look at the car on the 2/08 and 03/08, as an over night trip - due to distance required to travel.

However, this wasn't suitable to Mini Chigwell and suggest that they arranged to have it delivered directly to my house (some 150 miles away) at there cost, on the 29th July.

I believe this was to get the car sale in the July sales figures, rather than it falling in to August.

The car was delivered on the 29/07 by a 3rd party, and left, taking the car that i was trading in.
On closer inspection of the Mini CM, i noticed chips to the windscreen along with a dint and scratches to the back drivers side. This is beyond general ware and tear, and wasn't highlighted when i bought the car. Had i had the opportunity to view the car fully before discussing purchasing it, i would of raised this and used as part of the negotiations when buying the car !!
It was raised with Mini Chigwell on the 2nd August, photo where sent over to them - although i have had one call regarding this, when i call to discuss i am unable to talk to the salesman involved, nor where my calls returned.

I have sent another 2 emails chasing now and still awaiting a response.

Very disappointing, the needs resolving, if needs i will drive the car back to Mini Chigwell to encourage discussions.

Would i recommend Mini Chigwell ... pre-sales - fab, post sales - poor. The fact that i am being ignored over the issue is just poor.
