I have just bought a new A3 from Sytner Audi Wakefield
I dealt with James Cook who spent absolutely ages with me trying to find the right vehicle for my needs.
I wanted space for my golf equipment which I wanted to keep in the boot out of sight.
We tried them in numerous vehicles and eventually decided on the A3 saloon after test drives in a few other models.
Throughout James was extremely helpful, informative about the
vehicles and had the patience of a saint.
The process was made simple with the initial paperwork to seal the deal carried out at the premises with copies of all the information coming via email to read and sign.
James gave me an excellent deal on the A3
At the handover he was joined by Chris who set up the Audi App on my phone and checked it was connected to the car.
They both showed me the different features in the car and how to use them.
All the staff at Wakefield Audi which I came in contact with were extremely helpful and friendly.
I would like to thank James who went above and beyond to get me the car I wanted. I am extremely pleased with my new car and a big , big smile lights my face every time I drive it.

The only problem I have with Audi is the telephone system,it's impossible to get to speak with the right person, please change this, then everything would be perfect.
A very satisfied customer I would definitely recommend the team to friends and family.

Outstanding service from Gareth West at Chery Wakefield

After previously visiting another Chery dealership closer to home and leaving feeling like we didn’t really belong, our experience at Chery Wakefield was completely different from the moment we walked through the door.

Gareth West made us feel welcome, valued, and comfortable throughout the entire process. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely took the time to help us find the right vehicle for our family’s needs.

As Motability customers, the process can sometimes feel overwhelming, but Gareth guided us through everything with patience and understanding, answering all of our questions and keeping us updated every step of the way. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble.

The level of customer service we received was exceptional and made buying our new car an enjoyable and exciting experience rather than a stressful one.

I don’t usually leave reviews but I just wanted to say what a fantastic experience I had with Kit and Dan, they took their time to explain all the specs of the car and really made me feel comfortable.

This wasn't about just buying a new car for me, it was about having someone that could help me with a PCP structure that would ensure the purchase was in line with my financial projections and Sophie was that and more for me. Would recommend their service 10x out of ten.

I bought my car from the Car Shop (now Sytner) in Sheffield, which has now shut down. The Sytner in Sheffield doesn’t service Audis, so I attended the Wakefield Sytner for my MOT (advantage plus purchased alongside car) and service to avoid visiting two different places. I dropped it off on Tuesday at exactly 9 am. I was monitoring it through the link provided by text, and around 1 pm, it indicated that the service and MOT were complete (there was a yellow circling ring around the third step, no call yet). They called me around 2:30 to inform me that the MOT had failed due to three of my tyres, which fair enough, is my fault (they could have informed me earlier, though). She mentioned they had no tyres in stock and needed to order them for delivery the next day, promising to update me, so I left the car overnight. By 12:15 the next day, I hadn’t received any updates, so I called them myself. A lady answered and said she would check and call me back as she didn’t know the status of the car. After waiting 30 minutes and no call back, I called again multiple times between 12:45 and 14:00 (evidence on phone log) but there was no answer. I decided to take the train and arrived in person around 14:10 to ask why I hadn’t been updated. The lady said she had just been busy (she was talking to her colleague when I walked in, and several colleagues were around the room eating ice cream) I explained that I need my car for work and live in Sheffield, they’ve had it for nearly two days just to perform a basic service and MOT, which only required changing the tyres to pass. She said they were running it through the MOT again and it would be ready in 15 MINUTES, which was fine! However, I ended up waiting for another hour (CCTV will confirm I entered after 2 and left after 3). During that time, no one approached me to offer a drink or reassure me that they would be done soon (this is basic customer service, by the way). If I were in their position, I would have apologised and explained that they were working as quickly as possible and asked if I needed anything. There were two colleagues assisting one customer who was purchasing a car at one point. With this, I will never buy a car or return for my MOT/service EVER again. I understand not having tyres in stock, but having the car for most of the next day without updates is both incompetent and unacceptable. The independent garage I used to visit for my previous car always had tyres available or could arrange for same-day delivery. I never had to leave my car with them overnight, so in the future, I would rather pay for my MOT and get a fast, quality and friendly service. Lastly, Sytner directed me to check in online before my appointment (I also received a call from them the day before my arrival to confirm I was still attending). When I checked in, I chose the £15 valet service. Unsurprisingly, they had not cleaned my vehicle. They did not charge me, but I want to highlight that the check-in process seems useless since someone called me as well, and no one acknowledged my valet selection. I decided not to return inside to tell them, as it probably would have taken them another week to clean. Completely useless in every aspect. Support small businesses, these people don’t give a crap once you’ve bought the car.

The sales experience with Gareth was second to none. Always helpful and questions answered.
Daniel dealt with the financial details promptly so all in all a great experience of buying a car. 👍🏼

I recently Ordered a new Chery Tiggo 7. Gareth looked after us during our visit and can’t fault him at all. Very professional, pleasant and accommodating. Nice smooth experience all the way through, would definitely be coming back in future.

I had my red Chery Tigo 7 delivered by Sam and Gareth yesterday and the whole experience was outstanding from start to finish. Sam and Gareth, who delivered the car, were genuinely lovely—patient, attentive, and incredibly helpful. They took the time to walk me through every feature, made sure I understood how everything worked, and never once made me feel rushed.

The entire sales process felt natural, smooth, and supportive throughout. My car arrived in immaculate condition, perfectly polished and valeted. I couldn’t be happier with the service I received. Truly exceptional.

Lovely experience and friendly atmosphere

Pushy sales people for additional products, won’t take no for an answer!
Recall on car that they were going to sort before colllection and now say we have to sort once purchased.
Collection date changed and go to collect to find they can’t tax it as registered as disabled tax
So now we have to go with them tomorrow to the post office to tax - so unable pay monthly.
The whole experience has been less than satisfactory from a customer experience point of view. Will not use this garage again! Extremely dissatisfied

The staff at Sytner in Wakefield were so helpful. Explaining the cars and what was available. Very friendly and in particular Lilly who was such a lovely young lady, helpful and knowledgeable. Contacted Sytner Wakefield about a used car. I asked 2 very simple questions online and stated I wanted to be contacted by email as I don't always have access to my phone. I then got an email from one of their sales people asking me to "give them a ring" if I wanted my questions answered. What is the point of a website and email when your staff can't be bothered to use them. I emailed back thanking them but I would be taking my business elsewhere. The sales person in question then had the nerve to email back to ask how they had done. What a joke.
