Sytner Group - North Wales Volkswagen Arvostelua 

I visited North Wales Volkswagen recently for routine services for my Skoda Octavia.
I am very satisfied with the experience from booking the Service online to the reception staff (especially Natasha) who was very efficient and considerate.

Excellent smooth service from Harry. Can't recommend Synter or Harry enough.

Leased a new vehicle through The Point North Wales (Sytner) and received absolute first-class service from Arthur Connolly.
His product knowledge is second to none—he really knows his stuff and made the entire leasing process smooth and straightforward. He gave us a delivery date right at the start, and the car arrived bang on schedule, no messing about whatsoever.

Car was in for MOT and diagnosis of a fault. The agent who I dealt with was courteous, clear and knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The quote given for repair was reasonable. Both drop off and collection very smooth

From start to finish this is the best and easiest car buying experience I've had. SEAT North Wales answered all of my questions and were brilliant to deal with. Despite this being the longest journey I've had to make to buy a car it was completely worth it. No problems whatsoever and I'm glad I came here to get the car I wanted.

Extremely disappointing and concerning experience – Sytner North Wales VW
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Sytner North Wales Volkswagen and, quite frankly, I expected far better from a main Volkswagen dealership.
I took my car in on the 13th of August for its service, vehicle health check and MOT. I specifically chose to have the MOT carried out there as the service and vehicle health check are included with my vehicle agreement.
On the day, I received no update whatsoever and eventually went to the dealership myself at around 4:30pm. I was told the car was ready, only to then be informed that the MOT had not been completed because of an airbag warning light. I accepted this and rebooked the MOT for two weeks later.
I then returned with the car early in the morning for the rebooked MOT. Around 4pm I received a call saying the car was ready to collect. When I arrived, I was told the issue had been sorted, handed my keys and paperwork, and left with the reasonable understanding that the MOT had now been completed.
It hadn't.
The following day, I checked the paperwork and realised there was no MOT certificate. I then checked the official government MOT database, which confirmed that my car still did not have an MOT.
I contacted Volkswagen via WhatsApp and was told I would receive a call back shortly. I waited almost two hours before receiving a call, at which point I was told, in their own words, that they had “really mucked up”. They had apparently fixed the airbag warning light but had simply failed to carry out the MOT.
This is not a minor administrative mistake. I was given my car back and led to believe that the outstanding issue had been resolved, when in fact the MOT had not even been carried out.
Had I not taken it upon myself to check the MOT status, I could quite easily have continued driving my car believing it had a valid MOT when it didn't. That is the part I find particularly unacceptable.
The lack of communication, the failure to complete the work that had been booked, the failure to make it clear that the MOT had not been carried out, and the fact that I had to discover the problem myself are all extremely disappointing.
I use a Volkswagen dealership because I expect a certain level of professionalism, reliability and attention to detail. Unfortunately, this experience fell a long way short of those expectations.
Sytner North Wales VW need to seriously look at how this was allowed to happen. A customer should never have to discover for themselves that a supposedly completed MOT was never actually carried out.

After agreeing a resolution to an existing problem with the service manager, he failed to carry out the resolution or to respond to multiple phone calls and emails. I therefore made an official complaint via the company's own website over two weeks ago. I received the obligatory "we will contact you shortly" email, but haven't received any communication.

First time taking my car in for a routine service at Sytner and I was really impressed with the customer facing team, particularly Natasha who was so friendly and helpful and went the extra mile to ensure my vehicle was ready in good time.

There are comfortable waiting room facilities and a tracking link so you can see the progress of your vehicle. Free refreshments, wifi and power points so I could use the time to work .

I even received a short video of the vehicle health check so I could see for myself what was being recommended and why.

Really positive experience all round.

The customer service was very helpfull. When very smooth and wasn't waiting very long. I would recommend Volkswagen North Wales to friend and family and the staff were very polite. Great service

Very poor, waited over 4:30hrs for Service and tyres. I understand they need approval to replace tyres. 3hours later car still not in garage for service. Had to chase up only to be told these things take time! When eventually in garage service took less than 45 min. Asked why they didn’t do service whilst waiting for tyre approval? response was it’s two different department!! Not first time I’ve had bad experience here

Friendly, attentive showroom staff. Traded in my car for a used Skoda, having tried another brand and dealership I was very glad I returned here. Ben in particular was patient and helpful; nothing was too much trouble for him, from viewing cars to the day of collection. I'm not comfortable in car showrooms but this was a really pleasant experience and a smooth transaction. Highly recommended and pleased with my choice of vehicle.
