After dropping my car off before 10am, I hadn’t heard anything from the team at 4.30pm so got in touch, only to be told that the paper work had not been logged so my car hadn’t been looked at, and then had to wait until 6pm for my car to be ready for collection, the manager didn’t even stick around to sort the issue, as it was past his 6pm home time, absolutely poor customer service. This is not the first bad experience I’ve had with Leicester Audi and I’m sure it won’t be the last

When I submitted my online query form, Hakim Boutrab was in touch almost immediately. He efficiently and professionally established what I wanted and booked me in to visit the dealership.

At my appointment, Hakim was immensely friendly and welcoming. He understood what I wanted and did not try any pushy sales techniques allowing me to make my mind up and ask questions throughout the appointment.

Hakim then kept me updated throughout the delivery of my car from Audi Leeds. When the car was ready for collection, I went in with my kids and Hakim was really friendly with the kids and professionally completed all admin tasks before I drove away my new car.

It paint me to write this as a huge Audi fan, but I'm genuinely put off by the brand since having my newest Audi for the last 2 years. They've essentially sold me an approved used A3 saloon which has a defect front passenger alloy. The paintwork quickly peeled off a few months after having the car. The dealership admitted to poor refurbishment and did it again for free. It then happened again to the SAME alloy last year, to which they tried to charge me to refurb. I argued the toss, and they essentially said that it happened due to defects on the alloy that I had caused. The whole manner was irritating so in the end I annoyingly paid to have it fixed. This has happened AGAIN to the SAME alloy, just from washing it, and they're once again claiming it's due to a defect alloy.

I'm not an idiot, I can see the scuff marks on the alloy. I live in North Leics, which is rife for potholes at the minute. BUT, my questions to the dealership were:

Why is no other alloy doing this? They all have minor pothole scuffs?

Why did you admit the first time around that this shouldn't happen unless it has been poorly refurbished?

Why is no other car doing this? Almost every car in the nation has alloy defects, I don't see anyone else with the same alloy peeling issue?

It's a constant pie off to admit fault and admit that 1. Their refurbishment skills are poor and half-arsed completed and 2. They originally supplied me with an average alloy which they sprayed over and essentially keeps peeling off.

I'm in the middle of this dispute, but my anger has gone beyond now.

In December I tried booking in for my last free service (as part of my package) before it expired in early January, they couldn't get me in on time, so I eventually had it in mid January, whilst they still gave me the service for free, they charged me to replace elements which would have been free if I'd got in before my 2 year warranty expired. Is that my fault they couldn't get me in? They usually always call me to remind me of MOT/service, but shock horror, just before my last one and the warranty running out, is the one time they didn't....

I'm not sure if I'll ever get an Audi again, which pains me to say, but if I do, I most certainly won't touch this dealership again.

I recently agreed to purchase an Audi A1 from Leicester Audi. To begin with,my initial experience was quite positive and I put a deposit down on the car we liked.
Unfortunately, my impression soured as soon as I decided not to go ahead with the purchase. Retrieving my deposit turned into a protracted ordeal. Despite my clear communication that I no longer wished to proceed, I found myself having to chase the dealership repeatedly to return my money.
To make matters worse, when I finally secured my refund through Andrew Wharton Head of Business, he offered me a derisory 10% discount on accessories as a gesture of goodwill will. Frankly, I found this offer insincere and unhelpful as, Andrew would clearly know that its highly unlikely that I would be buying accessories from a dealership that I’m not buying a car from nor is my local dealership.

We went into Sytner Audi for information on their cars and because of the way we were treated throughout, we purchased a new car. All of the staff that we encountered throughout the sales process seemed genuine and knowledgeable without being too pushy.

Omar was really helpful and easy to talk to. He responded to everything really quickly and knowledgeably and was very friendly without being over the top.

Been a customer of Sytners for well over 40 years. Always great to deal with as they have staff who seem to care and make car purchasing fairly easy even though the FSA has created a legal nightmare with extra paperwork and documents.

We were made to feel very welcome at the dealership and that the lady we dealt with (Samya) really wanted to help us find the right car. She gave us so much time and plenty of information to aid our decision. She put no pressure on us and it was such a different experience to other car garages I have visited. She was able to offer a test drive at the time and also organise a great deal on a car that ticked all the boxes for us. The after sales paperwork and organisation was good and the handover too.

I nearly bought a car from here and personally dealt with their Head of Business Andrew. He completely renewed my faith in the motor trade, especially a large franchised main dealer belonging to a large group such as Leicester Audi. Some personal circumstances had changed meaning I didn’t want the vehicle at handover, which was really upsetting and also frustrating for the dealership. I’d definitely come back when I am ready to buy another car when the timing is better; they were open and honest with me and happy to work with me to sort out any issues. Would recommend, though this is a large dealer, it had a family type feel and a personal touch - something that seems lost nowadays.
