Twice I have ordered shoes from Swims. Twice they have messed up the order. customer service not good. Pity because their products are quite good.
I ordered quite a few items from Swims to send to the UK. The quality was ok, although I already lost one button! The big issue was that I was charged import tax by DHL, which was meant to be covered by Swims. I paid as otherwise, the items wouldn't be sent by DHL. So, I asked Swims to confirm why I paid the import tax. They confirmed it should be charged to them, not me! However, that is the only time they have ever responded to an email. So, I am waiting to get a refund from DHL. I wouldn't recommend Swims as the quality of products seems OK at best, but they communication is really poor and I've been overcharged for goods.
You won't believe this...
I ordered a pair of boots from the Swims website. Unfortunately, what I got was a seriously used pair, like seriously used. The soles are completely worn through. There are holes in them. AND the box contained a handwritten note from what I can only assume was the previous owner of the pair saying these boots failed their expectations and they want their money back.
I assume rather than receiving the new pair that I ordered; they sent me a pair that had been returned to them by an unsatisfied customer.
I couldn't wait to contact Swims customer service to see how they treated me moving forward. So you can imagine my disappointment when I discovered the customer service number they provided me on the invoice is not a working number.
Having a good-looking product is one thing, but customer service is everything—my learning lesson is always to buy from Zappos.
Ordered loafers at decent price but around £20 delivery.
Loafers arrived ok but size is way way off of what it should be.
So refunded no problem, customer service was good, with a prompt reply to my e mails.
However, the fact that they send out shoes that are way off the right size, and overcharge for delivery, seems to be a bit of a con.
You lose out £20, and who gets that money? UPS and swims….
Nice looking shoes, bad fit, and abysmal customer service with absolutely no communication; that's the best way to describe SWIMS. The shoes run about a size larger than they should and good luck if you need customer service. I returned my shoes as they were far too big and after several weeks I did not receive a refund. Haven't heard anything from SWIMS at this point and performed a chargeback on my credit card due to the SEVERE lack of communication regarding the refund that should have been issued.
I absolutely love the shoes, but their support is questionable to say the least.
Delivery times fluctuoate and the worst part was that I ordered 2 different pair of shoes from the same number and the size is different

worst company to do online shopping with ever. Have been waiting 7 weeks for a package, takes the about a week to answer, and when they do so they don't give a good answer. The shoes I bought was to big, but since I don't have a user, I have to take contact via mail to return it. They have a 10 day return policy, but when it takes 60 days to get the shoes, that doesn't help much.... stay away
Shoes were sized way off run 1.5-2 sizes small, Shipment was late, and refund was the most difficult process had to file a dispute (with card company 10 emails later) that is also running a week behind avoid this company at all costs! They do their ordering through a shady company called Daytona apparel seems like they want people to forget about refunds no reviews on website to warn you of horrible sizing. Tons of people double ordering and SWIMS holding on to payments for returned product for weeks on end.

Cannot get through to their customer service number or Email. Great shoes, but let down by their lack of communications. Such a shame that am not going to be able to confidently buy from them again
This company will scam you. If you have an issue with a return they will send a return label with the incorrect address and claim that you sent the package to the wrong address. Go through PayPal and only use the return address provided through paypal or you'll be sorry. Do not use any address sent to you by swims email because they have fake email addresses so that they can claim it didn't come from them.
Good looking but poor quality product. Not to impressed by the service at their flagship store either. Shoes lasted far less than alternative rainwear.
Great shoes but unbelievably terrible service. Like so bad it actually ruined the brand for me. Ordered three pairs. Got the same size I had bought previously. One was cancelled after the order. The other two were too small. Tried to return them and was told that sale items are final sale, even though there is literally no indication of this anywhere on their site. Called and spoke with the worst agent I've ever encountered. She claimed that since I was told in my packing slip, that it was a final sale, I should have known better. I had to remind her that telling me its final sale after the item arrived is of no use to anyone. Even though I wasn't interrupting her she said "if you're going to butt in I'm just going to put you on hold." And placed me on a hold that she was never going to return from. Now they aren't even answering my calls. Just buy from Amazon or a department store if you really want a pair of swims. Or better yet, just buy a different brand.
The worst service and customer service. Ordered 3 pairs of sneakers which Swims website said were all in stock. Received an email saying that my order had been partially sent. It did not say what had been sent or what was missing. Is did not say whether the partial item/s were going to follow on or whether I was going to get a refund. No telephone number to call them. Website states email responses on the same day (as long as its a week day). Took up to 5 days to get my first response. Got a response saying that their systems say that I had already received 3 pairs. I responded that that is not right as the tracking number (which I included in my email) shows they hadn't even left the depot which was in a different country and delivery wasn't due until 3 days time and all I wanted to know was, what was missing and is the missing item going to follow or are you going to refund me. Swims never responded to this email. 3 days later all 3 pairs arrived. Please also note that Swims website states items will be sent within 3 days. Item still not sent a week later which I paid £15 for the privilege.
Elendig kundeservice!
Jeg fikk en bag i julegave, kjøpt på Swims store i Oslo. Selger var meget blid overbevisende, og forsikret kjøper av gaven om at den skulle være enkel å få byttet, også på en navngitt butikk i byen jeg bor i.
Etter jul går jeg til denne Swimsforhandleren i min by, i håp om å bytte bagen til en annen farge. Butikken viser seg å ikke ha disse bagene eller noe særlig annet interessant. Han tilbyr meg dog å bytte i en vare til 50% av verdien på bagen jeg fikk. Jeg takker nei, og forsøker i stedet å kontakte Swimsbutikken i Oslo. Det viser seg at gaven må byttes innen 05.01.19.
Det gikk ikke å få kontakt med noen i Swims på telefon. Telefonnummer oppført på dem "is not in use". Nettsiden er håpløs. Jeg henvender meg på mail og via Facebook uten å få svar. Nå har jeg brukt en uke på dette, og ser ut til å måtte akseptere gaven slik den er... Elendig, Swims.
Dårlig svartid - dårlig service.
Fik en jakke i julegave som var købt på deres hjemmeside i forbindelse med Black Friday. Jakken var et nummer for lille så vi ville gerne bytte til en større størrelse. Dette kunne ikke lade sig gøre. Det eneste de kunne tilbyde var jeg at jeg kunne returnere jakken og købe en ny som ville koste 1500 kr. mere end vi havde betalt. Desuden tager det utilfredsstillende lang tid før de svarer på de emails. Har ellers købt deres produkter i de sidste 6-7 år og været meget glade for deres jakker men det stopper nu.
