Disappointing Experience
We are extremely disappointed with our experience and feel the service delivered falls below what was agreed at the point of sale.
We were clearly advised that installing 10 panels on the front roof and 8 on the rear would not be an issue. This was a key factor in our decision to proceed. However, on installation day, we were informed that two of the front panels would not be installed. We were told they would “see what they could do” regarding the additional panels, but ultimately they were not installed. This was contrary to what we had been advised during the sales process.
We were also told that the installer would rearrange and return with an updated solar installation drawing so we could clearly see the revised plan. This did not happen, and we were left without any proper follow-up or clarification.
We also experienced serious issues with payment handling. We were initially told that our credit card payment had failed, so we immediately arranged a bank transfer of approximately €5,000 to avoid delays. We were later informed that the credit card payment had in fact also gone through, without any prior notice. This resulted in an unexpected duplicate payment situation and avoidable financial stress.
To add to this, the scheduled electrical work was cancelled on the morning of installation due to staff illness, after we had already arranged time off work specifically for the installation. While we understand that unforeseen issues can arise, the short notice and lack of contingency planning caused further unnecessary disruption.
Overall, while the system itself appears to be of good quality, the overall experience has been poorly managed in terms of communication, scheduling, and delivering what was originally agreed.
