Recently exchanged on a property and due to move in at the end of the month!
As a first time buyer, I was so new to the market but the friendly approach when meeting in their vibrant office made me feel comfortable. John was always on hand to answer my questions and gave me genuine advice throughout the process. I really liked the overview and research he had done into the developer before recommending my property to me.
I can't recommend Stone Real Estate enough!

The first interaction with James was amazing, the team was on top of everything and new exactly what we wanted. Straight after getting offer accepted, it becomes really hard to find people to talk to and get answers. Not happy at all with the service we have and still are receiving from Stone.

I would not recommend using Stone Real Estate. They knowingly work with a very dodgy developer (Godfrey London) who have ruined many buyers lives. Stone Real Estate was clearly aware of the issues although continued to work on their behalf. Truly awful - read the Ham&High article on the Park Place development for more.

I loved working at Stone Real Estate! I sadly had to move back to Australia but would highly recommend them for anyone looking to work in new homes or to purchase a beautiful new build apartment in London.

The company really does take the time to get to know the needs of their clients and then recommends the best option for them.

I was hired at Stone in the fall of 2019. The team could not have been more welcoming from the get-go. As someone with very little sales experience, I was provided exceptional professional training and positive encouragement that I will bring with me wherever I go. Michael Stone created an environment that rewarded hard work for both individuals and teams. Sam Garcia, my team leader, was a pleasure to work with, always brightening my days with his positivity and inspiring me to reach for greater goals. The management also promoted team bonding through various out-of-office experiences which allowed me to build lasting working friendships with many co-workers. Unfortunately, Covid-19 brought my experience there to an abrupt close (as a Canadian) but overall, Stone Real Estate is incredibly professional, completely committed to the art of real estate in London and an absolutely brilliant business.

Since signing contracts, unfortunately, the service I have received from Stone (Graeme Grossman) has been severely lacking. They were unable to provide me with up-to-date information regarding the development. They can't even bother to respond to emails and messages. I don't believe he had passed on my concerns to the developer. I have raised these concerns directly with them, but there has been no improvement

I would never recommend using this agent. It has been the most stressful house buying purchase. The sales consultant, do not respond to any queries after the reservation deposit has been paid. There was no communication from sales consultants on the progress of the development of this property during COVID-19 pandemic as we were due to move in May 2020. They've now delayed the development until an unknown timeline. We received the exchange contracts in April, funny how the sales consultant is happy to call and push us into exchange after not communicating over the last 6months.

We advised the sales consultant that we'd now like to review the current situation as this will affect the property prices, timeline of development etc. As we said that the next day we got a call from Micheal Stone to "owner", pushing and urging us to exchange. Zero empathy or emotional intelligence given the current situation. He was unable to give us an update on the development of the property and even acknowledge the recognition of reimbursement, he was so dismissive on the phone. We're now looking to withdraw from the purchase due the agents behaviour.

This has been an absolute nightmare and I would never want to deal with them again, they leave you in uncertainty and only attempt to communicate as the exchange contracts came through the post.

This company came accross well at first, but they work with a developer called Godfrey London, who are building a development in Kilburn that Stone were one of the appointed agents on.

As far as I am concerned, between these two companies they lied through their teeth about when this development would be ready to get people to exchange on their flats.

Sheridan and Leighton were insistent that the development would be ready in Q2 2019 and "because summer 2018 had such great weather, it was looking like April 2019, not June". They were aware that I was looking for a quick move, due to the flat I was living in being sold, but they knew I was happy to wait until April 2019 for the flat in question as it suited my needs well.

How wrong they were, we are now in February 2020 and I have still not moved into my new flat, which I exchanged on and paid £25,000 towards in November 2019, and we still don't know when I will actually be moving in!!

Stone and Godfrey blame each other, one saying Stone should never have promised Q2 2019 and the other saying that was the information Godfrey gave them but at the moment, I would use neither company again. What is worse is that neither company has offered any form of appology or tried to right the situation.
