I made a purchase for some plant only not to receive anything from them not even a email they where very happy to take the money but to supply the good is a different storey refund me my money

I don't usually buy plug plants, normally grow from seed. I have never used this company before but stumbled across them on ebay & then found their website. Great variety & things which I haven't seen for sale elsewhere. I could have spent a fortune! Fast delivery, packaged well & big, healthy plants...will certainly use again.

I have used SEH for years, they are fantastic plug plants, never ever had a problem with them at all.

Dire customer service, sadly, reflecting other's experiences. The company refused to help contact Royal Mail, or replace or refund goods which were not received. Took advice from citizens advice and advised them of their legal responsibility to refund or replace but was still refused assistance.

Shockingly awful customer service and total lack of any kind of responsibility or help with Royal Mail!

Royal Mail stated they'd attempted delivery (on the 14th), no chance as we were home all that day, with all home windows and doors open! RM also failed to leave a card.

I phoned RM with the tracking no, who said they could re-deliver but not until the 19th (by which time plants would definitely be dead!).

I had to go and collect them from local sorting office 12 miles away.

I requested a postage refund from South Eastern Horticultural......who told me it was my responsibility to collect the plants before they perish ......

£5.95 on paid tracked postage delivery

£10.80 spent on fuel for a 24 mile round trip to collect from local sorting office (@ uk standard .45p per mile).

£1.30 paid to park in centre of town near to sorting office.

All in all delivery has cost me £18.05 ....almost the cost of the plants themselves, of which only half of them look like they'll survive due to the 3 day delivery delay (which I had to actually go and collect in the end!).

The responses from SE Horticultural were rude, full of typos, and conveyed a total WE DON'T CARE attitude.

They may be fine if all goes smoothly, but if not, you're on your own with no help from them whatsoever.

I'll be travelling to a local (not so local as we live very rural) garden centre in future rather than trust this greedy money driven team!

All plugs had solid root systems and were healthy and well packaged too.

I have made a few orders from this company over the last couple of years and have always been happy with the plants that I have received. There is a good variety to choose from, the plants are delivered quickly and the prices are reasonable. If you are looking for a reliable online plant retailer then I would recommend giving Southeasternhorticultural a go. I am sure I will be back to order more plants from them in the future.

Advertised Gardena 13mm pipe clips on Amazon, using an image of the older type of clip - which I wanted. However, they supplied the newer type of clip - which looks totally different and was useless for my application (I needed the old style). Although they refunded the purchase price, they refused to refund the P&P - despite the false advertising - claiming they were following Amazon's returns policy.

At the time of writing, the image they are using is of the old clip. They claim that Amazon controls the images, but they could simply send a correct image.

Amazon saw my side of the argument, and refunded the P&P.

I suggest you exercise great caution when buying from this company, given their use of misleading images in their advertising.

I have reported this instance to the Advertising Standards Authority.

Beautiful quality plug plants ..4 different types,bought off Amazon..all well packed ,damp on arrival and well packed and labelled with an invoice

Dreadful customer service. Bought plants via Amazon which died. After contact with Seller, I received ridiculous comments, bordering on insulting. I had not intended to go to Amazon, but after the reactions I went through to Amazon Customer Services. I would never buy from this company again. Buyer beware

I can’t comment on the quality of the goods supplied, but their communication is appalling. I have been messaging and emailing them for 48 hours and have not had one response.
I do not know if I would use them again, I am loathed to deal with a company that does not communicate with their customers.

Great service, great plug plants , this is now my 5th time ordering from this company, my 5th order was for 16 flower variety’s of plug plants, all were in perfect condition when they arrived.
Super fast delivery service .

I am sure these people are jolly hard working albeit pretty disorganised. They concede that if a package leaves their nursery they then have absolutely no idea where it is as they have no reference number with Royal Mail and if it doesn’t show up then nobody knows where it is as Royal Mail can’t tell you. They don’t refund of course as they are pretty “sure” that they have sent it even though it hasn’t arrived after 20 days. “Tracking information provided by South Eastern Horticultural” on Amazon is also not substantiated as there simply isn’t any-as they admit. If you are going to gamble you could consider the National Lottery?

Major drawback is their posting as they don't give you any tracking details.
My order said completed 5th June, posted with 48 hour delivery with Royal Mail but not received until 10th July.
Unfortunately tracking number on parcel doesn't seem to work so no idea when the order was posted but the plants were fairly dry but not dying.
Not sure I would use again.

Top quality plug plants at very reasonable prices. Customer service first class. Will definitely be purchasing again in the future.

Naught quite a lot of plug plants of South eastern horticulture and all have been good quality you need to put in pots in a window for a couple of days if weather isn't very good and then put them out when weather gets a bit better and you won't have a problem at all I have plants in garden from last year and they are still good condition

I ordered a number of perennial plug plants from SEH this year and am very pleased. The quality of the plug plants were excellent, they arrived promptly and really well packaged. My plugs arrived in June are thriving and have already given me some flowers. Great experience and will be ordering again and I recommend this company!

Bought a selection of plug plants which arrived 5 days after having been dispatched. Potted on and they struggled to grow. Contacted the “company” who advised to send photos of the plants. Sent photos which clearly showed the plants were dead. Although “company” insists they needed water. Dont waste your money with this “company”, go to (J. Parkers) for far better plants and better customer service.

Bought plug plants for summer containers.They arrived well packaged, well watered and in good condition. Delivery took a little longer than normal due to current situation however wasn't too long. Managing well in circumstances compared to other larger companies.
