Bechreibung des Problems:
• Algorithmische Bestrafung durch Bots: Am 27. März wurde mein Profil von über 12 Bot-Accounts ins Visier genommen (z. B. „COOL VIBE“, „MUSIC POWER“ und ein Ryan Caraveo-Imitator). Mein organisches Wachstum vom Januar (über 700 Plays) wurde im März durch einen algorithmischen Kollaps von -98 % erstickt.
• Stagnation trotz Verdoppelung des Inhalts: Im Januar erreichte 1 von 3 Tracks 736 Plays. Vor einer Woche habe ich 3 zusätzliche neue Tracks hochgeladen (insgesamt 6). Trotz eines aktiven „Artist Pro Push“ sind meine Statistiken bei exakt 736 Plays eingefroren. Der Algorithmus interpretiert die Bot-Aktivität fälschlicherweise als mangelndes Interesse und tötet meine Reichweite.
• Der „Blockierte-bleiben-Follower“-Bug: Ein kritischer Bug verhindert die Bereinigung der Analytics: Blockierte Bots bleiben in der Follower-Liste und verzerren permanent die Engagement-Raten. Dies verstößt gegen das Versprechen „präziser Metriken“ (Vertrag §3.1).
Support-Status:
Ich habe 6 detaillierte E-Mails (Ticket offen seit dem 30. März) mit Screenshots von Bot-Skripten und Analytics-Beweisen gesendet. Obwohl ich ein zahlender Abonnent bin, habe ich seit über 5 - 6 Tagen keine menschliche Antwort erhalten.
Forderung:
Ich fordere die Löschung aller über 12 identifizierten Bot-Accounts und eine manuelle Neuanalyse meiner Reichweite. Meine Frist ist der 10.April, 24:00 Uhr. Wenn keine Maßnahmen ergriffen werden, wird ein PayPal-Chargeback eingeleitet.

Now the bad:
bad/lazy support. No issues resolved (and there's been many issues) except for recent late payment issue(resolved).
Original tracks get blocked due to copyright for upload even though system has accepted them before.
Original tracks get blocked for monetization even though monetization accepted on previous upload.
No response when asked about fake/bot accounts
Copyright scanner blocks royalty free samples.
Desktop artwork must be uploaded per track, not bulk.
Closing of other paid/promotional options.
Amplify feature doesn't always work even though set on upload. Have to manually amplify each track.

Soundcloud is very important to my career and i've had great results which i do appreciate. But the above problems cause continual headaches. I work very hard wit my soundcloud channel but the above issues cause countless wasted hours of my time. Bottom line is my experience with support doesn't really reflect that they care, hence writing this review. SC offers vinyl selling but ive gone direct with elastic stage since i've had such bad support experience and dont want to rely on them further. 'Come On Soundcloud, get it together!'

Soundcloud repeatedly fails to update your email account, blocks you from using your account because of it, and only offers a big sloppy confusing pile of help articles that do nothing to fix the issue. It's best to stick to youtube and bandcamp & avoid this clown show

I am using this platform for about a year and have uploaded almost 100 tracks without any problems. For me it is a good experience and I am discovering new possibilities in combination with AI tools.

Hallo an alle verarschten Soundcloud User - wir sollten uns zusammenschließen und gegen die Machenschaften von Soundcloud an die Bundesnetzagentur eine Sammelklage einreichen.
Bei mehreren Bewertungen war zu lesen, dass Soundcloud Tracks aus dem Vertrieb - Monetarisierung - herausgenommen hat.
Auch bei mir war und ist es so. Mir wurden 3 Tracks gelöscht die zusammen über 1.5 Mio Streams hatten.
Für mich steht eindeutig fest, das Soundcloud damit Tantiemen unterschlägt.
Neuerdings lässt wird jeder Versuch, einen Track in den Vertrieb zu geben, durch irgendwelche Begründungen zu unterbinden - das nervt - und so habe ich gleichzeitig auf anderen Plattformen veröffentlicht und das ging immer reibungslos.

Genuinely just straight up shit id now say 2 ads per song you get more advert time than actual songs, they wont let you transfer to Spotify nor let me buy premium and back to the adverts its that same horrible premium advert every, single, one its probably because they cant get anyone to advertise on there because they know how shit they are wish there was an option for minus stars. I normally dont write reviews n stuff but they've just pissed me off that much. Just use Spotify instead

I am a professional producer (Yelltrix) and a SoundCloud Next Pro subscriber. My work is 100% human-made, composed in Ableton Live. Despite providing official legal documentation from the Portuguese Republic (IGAC) and digital signatures (Chave Móvel Digital) proving my authorship, SoundCloud's automated systems keep rejecting my releases with conflicting excuses (first 'AI detection', then 'licensing issues').

It is unacceptable that a paying customer and a certified artist is being ignored by automated bots. I have provided project screenshots and legal certificates that prove no third-party samples or generative AI were used. I demand a human technical review immediately. My rights as a creator are being violated by these unjustified blocks.

The incessant ads without the paid subscription makes this platform nearly unusable -- however, some of the remixes available on the platform are insanely good (and cannot be found anywhere else e.g. Spotify, Youtube). That might be SoundCloud's only redeeming quality.

It USED to be a great website, now its full of dark patterns and anti-user design choices.

For instance: You can no longer see all of an artists tracks from the mobile version of the website, only featured and popular tracks, why? I dont know... I assume they want to force people to use the app, but why? This seriously limits the actual usefulness of soundcloud for an artist.

On top of that its a battle to release tracks through their distribution system without getting your content denied for whatever bogus reasons and the chatbot support is annoying and hallucinating like it was on acid.

I used a CC0 licensed work for my album cover and I had to spend 45 minutes talking to a gaslight-bot 3000 and when it finally send me onwards it took days before any action, and I didnt get a "We are sorry - We messed up" message or anything, my track just suddenly got accepted even though it was in draft mode - I didnt wish to publish it before updating the audio file...

If you want to keep artists then I think its paramount that soundcloud stops using "dark patterns" to force app downloads. You should aim to make the app convienient if you want app users, not making the website UNCONVENIENT. This WILL just lead to users jumping ship as soon as another, better, well-funded alternative appears.

I hope someone at soundcloud reads this criticism, but I doubt it.

Distribution of a song or an album seems to be a big issue or problem for Soundcloud. I worked (an still work) with Tunecore were I had no or hardly any problem to distribute my works. With Soundcloud there is always something. Artwork not right etc. I gave up after countless emails. And I get sick of these Chatbots!

Ich habe mein selbst produziertes Lied auf Soundcloud geladen und jetz warte ich schon 2 Wochen auf mein Song das er auf Spotify gelistet wird jedesmal kommt ne Mail Name darf nicht drin stehen dann Tiktok und co wird nicht akzeptiert obwohl mein Song von Grund auf und alles selbst eingespielt wurde nicht genommen das finde ich sehr frech habe es mit eine Lizenz die ich geschrieben habe wird auch nicht akzeptiert da angeblich der Song sehr ähnlich der anderen klingt ich kann das ganze da nicht verstehen was die wollen 6 mal würde mein Song nicht angenommen nun reicht's mir wer seine Songs auf Spotify und co vermarkten möchte lässt die Finger von dem ganzen Weg es ist zu teuer und man bekommt andere distribution sehr günstig mit mehr Service für 19.99 pro Monat wo anders für Soundcloud Artist pro zahlst ein vermögen

wow. can't believe that I pay for this application. no desktop app for mac anymore so you can't actually play offline on the computer. Absolutley 0 response on any ticket I've ever submitted besides this:

Seems their tickets have been higher than usual for the last 3 years as I have never received a different response. Friends of mine have delt with copyright strikes that are clearly automated and would be disputed by any person with ears. Soundcloud please get your act together or i will not continue to pay.

SoundCloud has too many ads I have enough of ads I can't even skip it when I am a free user this must be a joke every site has ads and it's sickening I wish I could rate this 0 out of 10 stars because of the ads it's annoying it makes me frustrated not joking I don't recommend SoundCloud just because of the ads it's annoying you have to wait like 1 minute of ads to play a song which makes me mad I don't recommend SoundCloud

I wanted to release an album of my work. The release was stopped for an unspecified reason. I raised two support tickts and have waited over two weeks with no response. I have an artist pro account which is supposed to offer enhanced support yet they continue to ignore my calls for help. Uselsess.

I had my 11 year old METAL MOUSE account deleted they said tiktok owned the cover art for my album which was a photo of myself they also said i stole music with there false claims and won but they still ruined my music that i made and have all the FL and Ableton files project for!
But the way they just deleted me like a bad dog wow!

AND I JUST WANT TO POINT OUT THAT THE PEOPLE GIVEN SOUNDCLOUD GOOD REVIEWS ARE BOTS AND IF THEY ARE NOT I BET THEY DON'T EVEN MAKE MUSIC AND KNOW WHAT IT IS LIKE TO HAVE YOUR ALBUMS RUINED AND THE COSTS TOO MUCH FOR IT BE THAT STRESSFUL IT ACTUAL MADE ME SUICIDAL!!!!

SoundCloud has been good since I started using it. My top artist by far is juice wrld and SoundCloud has many of his released and unreleased songs that just simply aren’t on other platforms. Other artists like X also have bigger catalogs on SoundCloud. I also recently bought SoundCloud GO (soundclouds version of premium) and it has been well worth it.

Scam, 5+ 9 $ charges after this they offered sub that i need. Real. Choose something else. I lost my evening as a dj. Don't pay them. Want screenshots from rekord box? Ok i'll send. Btw. Make mobile adaptivity when I want to cancel my subscription from iphone it's a challenge
