After a recommendation from a friend I went to solid sheds to have a look. I wanted 2 large sheds and found exactly what I was looking for. I spoke to the sales staff and said this show model 10 x 8 is exactly what I want and was there a possibility of a price reduction if I bought 2 of them. The initial price was over 3k for the 2 so was pleased when I was offered them for just under £2800. What got delivered and erected was not what I ordered. They were a poor quality cheaper version of the show model that I had looked at. Within days the boards had shrunk and were showing daylight through the gaps. Also quite a few knots were showing holes as they fell out. I went back to the solid sheds showroom and found out that the show model is £200 extra with log lap cladding. However depite requesting this better quality alternative , i was sent the cheaper poorer quality shiplap cladded sheds. The sales staff did not order what I had requested therefore I feel quite aggrieved. I contacted customer service to find out what happened. After countless emails and messages to the sales staff the furthest I've got is to be offered to replace the sides of the sheds for £2300 when its their fault.

unfortunately on the initial placement I made a mistake as to location where I fed in the mains
It was in the view of my wife in the kitchen and she not happy.
I spoke to Paul as to moving it to the end of the garden. And he said it possible but as the 2 goys who came couldn't lift or move it
Paul came up with the solution that Two of your Team could take it apart and move it by individual sections
As I watched them I was amazed at how they did it by firstly lifting the roof and then each part of the sides then the end and door sections and it took less than an hour

Great experience with all the staff at Solid Sheds. We visited a few of the sites whilst looking at different options, and once decided on the 8x6 traditional summerhouse we visited Tony at the Lady Green branch. He was brilliant as getting us exactly what we wanted and came out to check our space too. A few calls to the main office to arrange delivery times etc and everyone we spoke to was really helpful. Delivered on time, and fully built within an hour and a half. Great service all round and we are looking forward to many happy times in our new summerhouse!

I have just had Jiri and Brad delivering and installing the Shed. They are very efficient, professional, approachable and friendly. They focus on their work and complete it in good time. I would strongly recommend them.

Arrived on time and were professional throughout the build. Overcame a blocking problem and via the adjoining boundary fence managed to navigate a large wall section to the site. Quickly built the summer house without bothering us till completion.

Firsty I would like to thank Paul at solid sheds, from start to finish made our experience of purchasing our 12x8 shed, told us all about what we were buying, the wood, the quality, all our options and tailor made it for us, explained when and how they were going to deliver. All the communication we had and the lovely lady that we spoke to the day before to let us know which stop and what time we were having it delivered. Purchased 2 years ago sadly not the quality expected can see daylight through panels and the door is not the same as the the rest of the shed and almost all panels are split with daylight showing.
Treated as per instructions they want £100 for a new door. Therefore these are not so Solid Sheds.

I ordered a greenhouse and was given a date of fitting for the 1st May 2026.
Two fitters arrived and were friendly and professional. They took their time to ensure I was happy with the location as I had not totally made my mind up on which way I wanted it to face. They were both very patient as they understood I needed to make the right decision.
They were here many hours, taking their time to ensure they completed a perfect job.
They were unable to complete the opener on the window so someone else arrived a few days later to do this at a scheduled time.
I would definitely use this company again if we require a larger greenhouse in future, or a shed. I am really pleased with the greenhouse and the service so will definitely recommend 😀

We bought a Solid Sheds workshop from Lady Green about 15 years ago and it is still going strong and looks great. We needed a 6x8 apex shed and didn’t hesitate in choosing Solid sheds again. We went to Dobbies in Southport to have a look and spoke to Sarah. She said she would come out and check the space it was going in, advise on a base and check access. She did this 2 days later and we ordered the shed that day.

The delivery date was less than 3 weeks and it arrived as promised. The 2 guys, Jiri and Chris, putting it up were were excellent and had it up in no time. They were polite and considerate and made sure we were happy with the whole process.

We are really happy with the new shed and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Solid Sheds. They may be a little bit more expensive than others but the quality is far superior and you know it will last if you look after it.

Our shed was ordered on 8 March, delivered and built on 31 March. The whole process was excellent; when ordered there was some basic customisation and this was handled without issue. There was a follow up call to confirm requirements and check the installation location. The delivery was on time and Carl and the team were brilliant. Everyone we dealt with was efficient and friendly. The quality of the shed and build is excellent.

Wendy house is lovely but finish of the wood used awful, very rough & full of potential splinters for small hands. I complained & chaps came to 'finish it off' but still full of rough wood. I have spent the day trying to sand it off but can't reach the shelf areas am very concerned grandchildren might get splinters. This was a £2K wendy house & I would have expected a better & safer quality of timber. Very disappointing.

Professional, helpful and friendly service from the Solid Shed team at High Legh Garden Centre in Knutsford. The shed and construction guys turned up on time at 7.30am and efficiently had the shed completed within the hour. I am really pleased with the workmanship and the high quality of the shed and can highly recommend Solid Sheds.

From the initial contact at Gordale garden centre to the job completion this company have been excellent.
My new shed arrived yesterday in the time window given, the 3 men then erected it quickly and professionally , they were very polite and made no mess at all, my grandson thoroughly enjoyed watching them !

From the minute I ordered my summerhouse and shed everything has been great. Sarah whom I placed the order with always kept me updated. Thank you Sarah. The lads who fitted them Brad and Lewis were friendly and polite. Everywhere was left spotless after they’d finished .The summerhouse still needs to be boarded out at a later date when the wood all dries but I’m absolutely delighted so far. Would recommend solid sheds to everyone. Thank you
