The behaviour of the supervisor was absolutely disgraceful. I witnessed him making racist comments about young Somali and Algerian boys who came into the shop, calling them “disgusting” and “nasty” while complaining about them to staff in the back. He also referred to a young member of staff as a “Paki” and said he was “not that far off from them.” When the employee reported this to management, the response was, “You’re Pakistani though, aren’t you?” The employee wasn’t even Pakistani, but that shouldn’t matter. Nobody should ever be subjected to racist abuse at work regardless of their ethnicity.

A workplace that tolerates this kind of behaviour is completely unacceptable. Racism has no place anywhere, especially in a work environment where employees should feel safe and respected. Management should be held accountable for allowing this behaviour to continue.

And on top of all that, your food is absolutely terrible. Overpriced, poor quality, and completely disgusting. Do better.

racist establishment don’t bother coming here, absolutey disgusting, staff are horror and the manager is the worst out of all of them!

Half of our order is missing, we checked with the driver who did not have another bag from the restaurant and said he only was given one. I could understand one item being left but this is a lot. I also appreciate things happen, items run out etc but had absolutely 0 communication from the restaurant to tell us if this was the case.
The food was ok, good portions but only average taste unfortunately.
This has definitely put us off from ordering them in the future, which is a shame.

Missing food from order….. the delivery time kept changing. And when requested a refund off Deliveroo because you can’t contact them directly as there is no number, I only got offered £4 for something that cost £11. Food wasnt even hot. Waste of time. Avoid

Disappointed & Concerned – Sobe Burger Orpington Experience

I do not usually leave reviews of this nature, however after my recent experience with Sobe Burger Orpington, I felt it was important to share my concerns in the hope that standards may improve moving forward.

Unfortunately, I was served what appeared to be raw / significantly undercooked food, which was deeply concerning and disappointing. As a paying customer, one expects meals to be prepared safely and to an acceptable standard, particularly when food safety is involved.

Following consumption, I experienced symptoms consistent with food poisoning, which caused considerable discomfort and distress. While I appreciate mistakes can happen in hospitality, incidents involving food safety should be taken extremely seriously.

This experience was particularly worrying for me due to my personal health circumstances. I live with significant medical vulnerabilities and a compromised immune system, meaning that food which may simply upset another person can potentially have much more serious consequences for me.

In addition, I am autistic and live with OCD, and experiences involving contamination concerns, food safety, and unexpected health risks can be especially distressing and overwhelming. Instead of feeling reassured after ordering food, I was unfortunately left anxious and concerned about what I had consumed.

The situation naturally raised several questions for me:

* Were proper food temperatures checked before the meal left the kitchen?
* Were quality control procedures followed?
* Was adequate oversight in place regarding food preparation standards?

I understand restaurants can become busy and errors may occasionally occur; however, serving food in a condition that appears unsafe understandably affects trust and confidence in the service being provided.

I sincerely hope Sobe Burger head office and management take this feedback constructively and review food preparation standards, staff checks, and quality control procedures. No customer, particularly those who are medically vulnerable or disabled, should be left feeling unsafe after ordering a meal.

At present, I remain deeply disappointed by the experience and would appreciate a full refund, compensation, and a clear explanation regarding how this occurred.

I genuinely hope this feedback is taken seriously so that future customers have a better and safer experience than I unfortunately encountered.
