I've been with Student Medicover for a year and have the Elite plan. The plan covers most of my medical needs, and my claims can always be paid fully and promptly. It has proved to be perfect for an international student. Besides, the prices of all plans are stable and reasonable.

I just renewed my insurance plan today and I am kinda curious about Student Medicover's reviews. But I am like super surprised by those negative reviews here and on Weibo since they are totally not true. I wonder if they just offend any other company's benefit or what. They really deserve much more good reviews. I've been enrolling their plan for like three years so far. These days they started to waive member cost-sharing for both the testing and treatment of COVID-19, so I renewed my plan again, just in case, even through I am in my OPT period. In these three years, they've been super helpful and supportive. I could even find them at 3 AM, and always got what I needed to know. They helped me to confirm that my plan meets my school's (BU) requirements before my purchase. They helped me to choose the correct plan within the right period so I could waive successfully. I don't know why people say that the number is unreachable and they don't care if the product fit school's requirements or not. They always answer my calls and WeChat messages in a timely manner. I see myself like a super active customer since I got a long-term ankle problem, and I asked many questions within these three years through their customer service number and their WeChat account. They always communicate in a very nice attitude and help me solving problems logically. I may not able to buy their products again since my F-1 status will be changed soon. But I think I am able to say something true and leave a review that they really deserve for them.

The insurance plan Student Medicover offers is amazing! I enrolled in their Elite plan, which is much cheaper than my university's insurance plan. Thanks to Jane's help, the waiver process only took me 15 minutes and it was very easy. Once the waiver got approved, the Bursar of UF returned the university's insurance fee to my account.

The insurance plan they offer is much cheaper than my university's Aetna health plan and the coverage is really great. Aetna costs me more than two thousand dollars a year but Student Medicover is the half price with even greater coverage! Great Plan!

I got in trouble with claiming my bill because of my university pharmacy’ fault. Thanks for their customer service Kevin’s help I got my money back after two months. She is very patient and professional. Whenever I had questions she always answered on time without her help I can’t give my money back. Highly recommend Student Medicover! Student Medicover insurance plan is cheaper than my school's plan, and the coverage is great. I used to use my insurance for immunization and visit the doctor, the claim process is very easy and fast. Also, the deductible is cheaper than other similar insurance. I would definitely recommend this insurance to my friends.

I still remembered the first time when I went to hospital in the US, I was so anxious as it was difficult to communicate due to language barriers. I called the Student Medicover, and one of the representatives was really helpful, she also speaks mandarin and she assist me for the entire process.

I went for immunization injections, and the doctor have me went through some blood test. Actually, I have confirmed with my doctor about insurance benefits, however I was not aware that those tests have been processed with another separate lab and it turned out not being covered because some code reason. So I contacted Student Medicover about my denied claim and one of their representatives has been really helpful and truly helped me contact a 3-way communication with lab and hospital and it ends up to be covered for 90%. Really appreciated.

Customer service staff, especially Jane, has been very helpful and caring. My doctor sent the wrong claim documents and refused to go back and correct it until Jane helped me to appeal and resolve the issue. Saved me alot of time and hassle.
