Consistenly poor experience. Apart from the great sauces and clean restaurants (I have been to 2), food is overpriced and greasy and service is terrible. The most recent visit in Belfast was the last chance I will give the place. Got the wrong order and had to ask for the sauces I ordered and then again for the milkshake which never came. Just really not great. Would be decent for kids if it weren't so overpriced.

Very nice food and fast delivery, even Chris was very friendly too. We used to go in Swindon outlet to eat. But now we have got one here in Camberley near by our door steps. Many thanks.

The service at the Crawley Slim Chickens is appalling. I ordered my food and waited almost 30 minutes for service. During this time I was asked to confirm my order twice. The second time I was understandably frustrated as it had been around 30 minutes since we ordered and I was with three young children. I spoke to who I think is Aliyah, although the manager refused to give her name, and she was extremely rude and turned her back on me and walked away. I then asked for a refund and spoke to the manager who was also rude and unhelpful. I wanted to make a complaint to the manager but it was clear that this would fall on deaf ears as both the manager and his staff were smirking and rude.

Slim Chickens Walton - has been open about 2 months and has done it's utmost to annoy it's local clients by having it's deliveries done late at night in a residential area over the past several weeks (and when I say late at night I mean 10pm/11pm). After complaining they seem to have sorted this out except for last night when the lorry turned up at 03:40 in the morning and proceeded to make as much noise as possible for 45 minutes.

Talk about self-sabotaging itself. And even the head office doesn't care! I've tried doing this nicely but being woken up on a Sunday night at that time is no fun. So a noise complaint and negative publicity is on it's way.

Food was okay, prices are high, drinks are zero/diet which isn't ideal because this isn't suggested before you pay. Chips are decent, but the chicken is dry without any of the sauces.

I wanna have nice coffee....but no milk on machine....ok happens...I ask stuff...to add milk....ohhhh no problem.... after 20 minutes I left.....

Slims was awful, dry chicken, nasty wings. Milkshakes were nice. £49 wasted, they r a jumped up kfc. No flavour due to lack of seasoning, will not go again

My son and I came to your restaurant in Birmingham Grand Central yesterday afternoon 06/08/2025 . On entry I asked one of your staff how I should order as I have a Nut Allergy. Your staff member was very polite and asked me to order at the counter where the manager would serve me.
We went to the counter where the manager came over. I informed him of my Allergy and that I am advised to avoid all nuts and that I have my EpiPen on my person.
Initially he went through the advisory notes highlighting all nuts and said no nuts were used on the premises. Then in a rather odd turn he refused to serve me with an explanation of a risk of contamination from suppliers. I explained I have to take that risk at all food outlets and had in fact eaten at that Slim Chickens previously. He then asked us to leave stating he would not serve me.
This was very embarrassing in front of my son and other customers. We were actually out for my sons birthday.
Can you please explain the reason for this and detail your policy on serving people with allergies?

I was emailed a promo code that didn't work. I was told to email contact at boparanrestaurants.com and they never replied.

Ordered on uber eats. Found a short hair in my chicken wing.

So a new branch has opened in Walton and Thames so we thought we’d give them a go to see what the Hype, I placed the order after an hour. I’ve got a notification to say the order had been canceled completely disappointed, and certainly won’t be ever spending any money with them again terrible customer satisfaction for a new business is just opened.

I am upset to learn that their chicken is halal. Why have I not been notified about this? This is a violation of my consumer rights.

Halal is a disgusting and inhumane slaughtering practice. I’m disgusted to have been a part of it.

We were walking past Slim Chicken in Wembley Boulevard when we saw a new Chicken stop the door was open my son and I walked in to the entrance and was looking at the menue. An Indian man came hand jestering we said we were just looking at the menue he told us to get out as they were not opened . My son said maybe you should put a closed sign.he again started to open the door telling us to get out and come back when he opens the shop then we can ask him a question.how rude can you be to possible clients clearly he don't need a business or referral. When i suggest they place a menue in the window as they had an electronic one that changed pictures ect within a blink of an eye he told us to move off then slamed the door shut. All we were doing was trying to look at a meue or at least be given one to take away.
If you like rude managers/ this is the place for you. But they would never get my money and I intend to exposed the total rudeness of this man. They won't stay open long if this is there attitude to potential customers.

The food tastes good & fresh, i think the tenders were 100% chicken no added water . The Korean BBQ chicken burger was fresh & tasty a little too much sauce for me but that’s probably my personal taste. The chips were cooked fresh & they certainly could teach KFC a thing about cooking them. Love the Cadbury flake milkshake. Keep up the great work guys.

I recently visited Slim Chickens at the Bridgend Outlet Village and had a very disappointing experience with the management, despite initially receiving excellent service from a helpful staff member.
As someone with a gluten allergy, I asked for assistance, and the lady who helped me was incredibly understanding and attentive. She used their allergy iPad to help me find a safe option and offered to clean the milkshake machine to prevent cross-contamination—something she explained was part of their protocol.
However, her professionalism was completely undermined by the manager on duty. He approached her in a passive-aggressive manner, questioning why she was cleaning the machine, and made it very clear that my allergy concern was an inconvenience due to other customer orders. This made me feel uncomfortable, embarrassed, and as if my health wasn’t being taken seriously.
Despite this, the staff member kindly continued to follow the correct procedure and made my milkshake. Unfortunately, the manager returned, visibly upset, and without a word, snatched the milkshake and slammed it into my hand with a scowl before walking away. No apology, no basic courtesy—just a filthy look and a clear display of unprofessional behavior.
I left feeling disrespected and disheartened. It’s unacceptable for a manager—who should be setting the standard—to treat customers with such disregard, especially when dealing with allergy concerns. The frontline staff member deserves praise, but the management here needs serious training in customer service and basic empathy.

I had a really disappointing and upsetting experience during my recent visit to this branch, which unfortunately soured what was supposed to be a special evening celebrating an early Father’s Day and birthday dinner for my dad.

We didn’t realise the restaurant was about to close when we arrived, which was a shame as we were excited to try it out for the first time. When I placed our order, I was told it would be takeaway only, which I understood and respected. While waiting for the food, my elderly father and young nephew sat on one of the benches inside just to rest — they were not eating or causing any disruption.

One of the staff members unnecessarily came up to me with a rude tone and said, “I already told you it’s takeaway only, they can’t be sitting there, we’re closing.” I explained calmly that they were just waiting for me, not dining in, and she just said, “Oh okay,” but the attitude felt dismissive and uncalled for.

Then, when I politely asked another staff member (who had served me earlier) if I could refill my drink — as I had paid for the unlimited drink option and hadn’t yet used it — she told me she’d check, then completely ignored me. I stood there waiting several minutes while she avoided eye contact and hid behind the till. When I finally asked again, she curtly said “no.”

It wasn’t just the answer — it was the clear lack of courtesy and basic customer service. It left me wondering if I was being treated differently because I’m not white. I truly hope that’s not the case, but regardless, the rudeness was unacceptable.

You can enforce policies while still treating people with respect. This experience left a sour taste and I won’t be returning. Slim Chickens needs to work on training their staff in professionalism, communication, and basic decency.

We love slim chicken staines because of the excellent service and the fresh/ tasty chicken tenders plus you get food freebies
