SRC Rent Car Arvostelua 

I recently rented a car from SRC Rent Car: a brand-new Citroën C3 with only 1,000 km on the odometer.

Just three days after picking it up, the car suffered a major engine failure and had to be stopped immediately.

The roadside assistance service was terrible. I was hung up on three times simply because the operators did not speak English. This is completely unprofessional (I'm not talking about SRC Rent Car's customer service).

Eventually, I managed to reach roadside assistance. I had to pay for the towing because I had not purchased the full insurance package, which I fully accept and have no issue with.

However, it is completely unacceptable that the rental company does not provide a replacement vehicle when the breakdown is clearly their responsibility. They supplied me with a defective car.
Because of the situation, I had no choice but to rent a car from another company, entirely at my own expense.

Even worse, they even charged me for the missing fuel in the car. They refunded the unused rental days more than a month later, and only after I had to follow up multiple times.

I strongly do not recommend this company. Poor English support, unacceptable customer service, and a complete lack of commercial professionalism.

Bei SRC wurde mir als einzigster Rental-Car Service weiter geholfen. Leider funktionierte meine VISA nicht bei den anderen. SRC hat trotzdem eine Möglichkeit gefunden dem Kunden zu helfen.

Esperienza pessima al rental dell'aeroporto di Alghero. Si affidano a delle agenzie esterne per noleggiare i loro mezzi senza che sia specificato da nessuna parte che la carta di credito richiesta debba avere una scadenza superiore ai tre mesi. Nel voucher che ci è arrivato per mail, nelle condizioni del pagamento, non c'era scritto. Ti rispondono che nei loro termini e condizioni c'è scritto ma non ti spiegano come mai nel voucher del LORO partner non c'è scritto. Zero supporto e zero aiuto, ti dicono di contattare il servizio clienti del LORO partner, a pagamento ovviamente, e nemmeno poco. Servizio clienti che, ovviamente, non vuole aiutarti e che ti butta il telefono in faccia.
Una volta accettato il fatto di dover cancellare la prenotazione e doversi arrangiare diversamente, non ti aiutano nemmeno nella contestazione del pagamento, rimandando tutta la responsabilità al LORO partner. Ti dicono di contattare per il rimborso dovendo aspettare un paio di giorni, i giorni passano, li ricontatti e di nuovo non sanno aiutarti. Chiedi loro di inviare una mail per il rimborso al LORO partner con la mail dell'utente TRUFFATO (io) in copia e ti rispondono che non possono farlo.
L'unica qua è denunciare, sapendo che i soldi forse non li rivedrai.

Evitate, evitate assolutamente se non volete rovinarvi le sudate vacanze con problemi di spostamento non previsti, chiamate a pagamento e bestemmie varie.

Mi hanno dato una opel corsa rossa senza frecce nonostante abbia anche detto che avrei dovuto prendere autostrada .... poi oltretutto fila al banco x la consegna del veicolo e l'unico problema la caparra che non ti rendono ma te la fanno sudare .... sconsigliata non noleggiate da SRC

Non fidatevi di quanto vi viene detto allo sportello ma controllate sempre il contratto.. nostra colpa non averlo fatto e fidati dell'operatore che ci aveva detto che la macchina aveva il pieno e tale doveva essere riconsegnata... appena ritirata abbiamo visto che il pieno non c'era ma essendo persone corrette l'abbiamo restituta col pieno ... bravi SRC a rispettare il contratto e fregarsene dei clienti senza riconoscere il fatto della negligenza dell'operatore che ci ha dato informazione sbagliata quindi senza nessun rimborso per il pieno fatto, sicuramente mai piu' SRC.

Prendiamo atto della risposta …. I tonti/ignoranti siamo noi quindi è giusto così
Bravi voi a rispettare testualmente il contratto e fregartene della soddisfazione e/o venire incontro al cliente , va bene così …

Ho affittato un'auto per utilizzarla per il mio soggiorno di 10 giorni fra Palermo e Marsala. Il veicolo era in ottime condizioni, pulito, perfettamente funzionante. Il personale che ho trovato al punto noleggio dell'aeroporto di Palermo educato, gentile e chiaro nelle spiegazioni. Unica nota dolente? Non aver segnalato che presso l'aeroporto non ci sono distributori di carburante. Avrei gradito avere questa informazione per non trovarmi in difficoltà in prima mattina ed essere costretta a pagare la penale. Una semplice informazione rientra in quella che definisco "cura verso cliente", e siccome sono certa di non essere stata l'unica ad avere problemi suggerisco allo staff di inserire anche questa fra le informazioni utili.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but after giving SRC every opportunity to resolve this matter directly, I feel it's important to share my experience.

On the day the vehicle was due to be returned, warning lights appeared on the dashboard and the steering wheel repeatedly locked while I was driving. When this happened, I lost effective control of the steering, particularly around bends. It was genuinely frightening and became progressively worse at speeds above approximately 50 km/h, forcing me to slow down because I no longer felt the vehicle was safe to drive.

To make matters worse, I spent around an hour trying to contact SRC before anyone answered my call whilst I was still driving the vehicle.

The first representative I eventually spoke to genuinely tried to help. After speaking to one of their technical colleagues, he advised that dirty sensors around the rear-view mirror were likely causing the issue and asked me to clean them. I followed those instructions immediately, but the problem continued exactly as before.

After the Palermo Porto office closed, I was passed to another representative who appeared to have no understanding of the situation and I had to explain everything again whilst still driving. Rather than discussing the steering issue I had reported, I was simply told the vehicle had a speed limiter and that there was nothing wrong with it or unsafe about it. I was then told to contact Customer Care if I wanted to dispute any charges.

Customer Care later introduced a completely different explanation, saying the behaviour related to the vehicle's driver assistance system and suggesting that I had failed to follow the correct procedure. That was incredibly frustrating because nobody mentioned the driver assistance system during my calls. I followed every instruction I was actually given. It is unfair to suggest I failed to follow a procedure that was never explained to me.

If this behaviour was caused by a driver assistance system operating as intended, why was I given three different explanations by three different people? And why was I never shown or given any induction on these systems when I collected the vehicle?

Because I no longer felt safe driving the vehicle normally, I could not complete the planned return to the Palermo Porto branch that evening. With an early morning flight from Palermo Airport the next day, returning the vehicle to the airport became the only realistic option available.

Despite reporting the issue immediately, following the advice I was given and acting responsibly throughout, I was charged for an additional rental day, an airport return surcharge, fuel and a refuelling service.

The complaint process was equally disappointing. Customer Care's responses were consistently brief, ignored many of the questions I asked and failed to properly engage with the timeline I had carefully explained. I also had to repeatedly chase clarification regarding the additional charges and my €200 security deposit.

SRC maintain that they found no defect after inspecting the vehicle, and I accept that this is their position. However, it does not change my experience as the person driving the vehicle, nor does it explain the inconsistent advice I received or the way my complaint was handled.

My biggest disappointment wasn't simply what happened whilst driving—it was how SRC dealt with a customer who reported what they genuinely believed to be a serious safety issue.

Based on my experience, I would not rent from SRC again.

Hatten über Check 24 ein Auto ab Catania Flughafen gebucht. Bei verspäteter Ankunft am SRC Schalter wurde uns gesagt, der Vertrag sei durch C24 storniert worden. Wir könnten einen neuen Mietvertrag abschließen.
Das haben wir getan (dachten wir).
Später stellt sich heraus: Der Vertrag war nie storniert. Uns wurde unter Vortäuschen einer falschen Situation ein teures Versicherungspaket verkauft.
Der Mitarbeiter am Schalter hat uns eiskalt belogen.
Ich kann nur raten: Finger weg !

Great service from the reception, and also good prices. Car was practically brand new.

Shuttle bus direct from airport to office (not more than 3-5minute drive).

Will chose them again when visiting Bologna.

Non affittate mai macchine, ho firmato e pagato un contratto casco per un importo pari a 107 euro più iva, lasciato 200 euro di cauzione, la macchina l’ho tenuta in totale 4 ore e riconsegnata mi hanno addebitato pulizia straordinaria mancanza benzina e mora mancanza benzina per un importo pari 127 euro in totale quasi 250 euro una truffa inventano che la macchina sia sporca sono dei truffatori. Non mi era mai capitato non andate

Ho noleggiato 3 giorni auto piccolina kia nuova tutto bene la riconsegna veloce mentre x prenderla un po di piu. La registrazione prima serve a poco. Al banco rifate tutto da capo Un solo addetto alla consegna auto comunque positiva esperienza viaggio ritorno alla mia sicilia

Location début juin à l’aéroport de Catane. J’ai contesté une pénalité de carburant de 25 € en fournissant des photos et des explications détaillées. Malgré plusieurs échanges, mes arguments concernant l’attente lors de la restitution et la pénalité appliquée n’ont jamais reçu de réponse claire. Je regrette également plus de 30 minutes d’attente à l’aéroport pour restituer le véhicule. Expérience décevante du service client.

It’s been one month and I can’t take my deposit money back. They are very irresponsible and unreliable. They said they did their part however my bank never received any transaction. They are liars and they dont care about the customers at all!!!!!

We got accused of making scraches on the rental cars. We have picture evidence, taken at the pickup of the car, that the damage already was on the car. The company ignored the evidence.

DO NOT USE THIS "COMPANY" they charged me extremely high amount of money for pre-existing damages on rented vehicle!!!

Arrivo a Palermo al noleggio prenotato (sicily by car) mi accorgo di non aver carta di credito! Abbiamo optato per SRC, servizio veloce e risolto problema, in era digitale essere vincolati a carta fisica è anacronistico! Auto nuova,pulita e ibrida quindi consumi bassissmi il personale al desk molto gentile!

Sabato 16/5 ho noleggiato l’auto a Linate, mi dicono che tutti i danni sono segnati.
Al momento del ritiro, non essendoci alcun operatore presente per il check in, faccio un video con tanto di descrizione.
Restituisco l’auto domenica 17/5 e dopo un po’ mi arriva una constatazione di presenza di danni. Rispondo x mail inviando il video da me realizzato, dove si evince che il graffio in questione è già presente!!!
Chiamo anche l’ufficio di Linate e parlo con Simone ( l’ i competente che non si sarà accorto del danno al precedente rientro), costui mi inventa che non si vede chiaro. Quindi reinvio il video specificando i frame!!!
EBBENE ciò nonostante mi addebitano il danno senza alcuna seguente spiegazione!!!
