SheerID Arvostelua 

Trying to confirm id for Spotify. Have cent CBI statement showing name today's date, CBI logo and course status showing in progress for level8 diploma as per guidelines. Keeps being rejected, even with manual review. Case assistant Sayantan Naskar has been completely unhelpful. He tells me that someone else has rejected the document, not even the person talking to me and keeps copying and pasting the same id requirements (which I have painstakingly listed how the document meets each piece of the criteria). Furious. The document has been accepted by literally every other student id process for student beans etc.

Today, when verifying my student status, SheerID didn't accept my documents. That's fine. It's AI. Maybe it's just misreading them. I reuploaded different documents - transcripts, class schedule, receipt of tuition. Nothing worked. This was incredibly odd because my friend with a NOTICEABLY WHITER LAST NAME uploaded the SAME DOCUMENTS from the same school and got accepted first try.

Okay, again, could be AI messing up their reading of documents. It happens. I reached out to their support and contact team and heard nothing back. Zero. I am now also locked out of uploading more documents.

I am at a loss for a solution, especially considering that they accepted these exact documents about a month and a half prior for a different verification process. It makes no sense.

I was about to give up on Amazon. When I was able to get in contact with Angela M. (SheerID Verification Support). She didn't give up on me even when the reason It took so long to get billing straighten out. Was on me.

SheerID clearly discriminates against students of black, Latino, and Asian backgrounds, who provide perfectly valid student IDs but are rejected for YouTube discounts. I will be posting more and more proofs of the above all over the Internet shortly.

This sheer id is horrible constant issues with no response to emails why even have this system in place if it doesn’t work!!!!!

Well Walmart gave me the phone number to Sheer ID,when I called I waited for a person.(Which is very hard to get ahold of.)
All the guy wanted to talk about is that I won 200.00 gift card.
I was like trying to ask why I was denied for the half price on Walmart+.
All he wanted to do is talk about the $200.00 gift card that I so called won.
He then asked if I had an bank account,Huge Red flag there.
That's when I knew that SheerID are scammers.
They denied me cause I didn't show my card for they wanted the card number and they wanted to see bank statement to scam me.
I pray Walmart will cut ties with SheerID.

I am a student at Arizona State University attempting to redeem the Google One 12-month student offer. Despite the official Google One landing page explicitly stating the offer is active and valid until April 30, 2026, SheerID’s automated system is summarily rejecting valid .edu verifications with a fraudulent claim that the offer is "expired" or "no longer available."

I have provided SheerID with direct photographic evidence of Google’s own terms (which clearly show the April 30th deadline), yet their own support team remains stuck in a loop of scripted crass incompetence. They are closing tickets without resolution while providing "automated" responses that contradict the very merchants they represent.

This is a textbook: "Bait-and-Switch" operation. SheerID is (amazingly) failing at its primary and only duty: accurate verification. If you are a student being told (falsely) that an offer is "expired," check the merchant's actual terms—SheerID is likely just too lazy to update their internal database. Absolutely pathetic and shameful performance for a supposedly "professional" verification service. All companies associated with SheerID should suspend any and all ties with them, to protect their own sound reputation(s).
