The staff were amazing however the food and the menu left alot to be desired. The menu was limited everything served with chips or fries. Half if the meals had a supplement on so have to pay more even pizzas and burgers. Then they hadnt ordered food so the menu was even more limited. Would I go back NO

I really must comment on the DISGRACEFUL state of the carpet in room 23. dirt and paint splashes all over from entrance . The room seemed to have been recently nicely decorated so the atrocious carpet let the room down greatly. WE couldn't walk on the floor without slippers or shoe , all very diss appointing .Surely it could have been deep shampoo cleaned. Food and staff were good choice of menu good. We did not complain because I heard the hotel was full so not much point. The bed linen was clean although when I separated the twin beds I did find a coin under one of them..I hope you address the problem as it spoiled an overall good holiday. I'm afraid I am not technical savvy to send pictures.

Lovely Hotel. Excellent room .Good location. Restaurant terrible. Inedible and sometimes cold food. Coach parties take precedent over other Guests. Staff with attitude. Will never return.

This is a bargain basement hotel due to low staffing and poor standards (apart from the Manager who worked his socks off to try and ensure standards were highwe. A particular low point was the chef who had beef dishes returned on twonights byv more than a few customers. Not what you expect from Shearings!

We had poor experience. Staff did their job, but lacked any customer care. Although gluten free stated on booking, no gluten free bread available. Also static evening menu. Apparently only changes with season, winter & summer.

Just spent 4days at Charlecote Pheasant the hotel needs updating , the dinner menu was the same meals every day and some meals if you wanted them you had to pay extra so you ended up eating the same meals as not to pay. We have been to many Shearings hotels before an not had to do this.

We were in the older part which definitely wants refurbishing. Bar and restaurant area was fine .breakfast was okay but didn't look that appealing. Evening meal was good.staff were very pleasant and helpful.
