My wife ordered a $1300 cabinet that arrived broken. I called and they said I had to handle it with Arrow (the manufacturer). Arrow said they would replace it, but then ghosted me. After weeks of calls and emails, I finally got ahold of a real person and Arrow said SMP’s account is on hold and they won’t ship me the replacement part, but they would “explore other options.” Now I’m left with a broken sewing cabinet and I’m out $1300. DO NOT BUY FROM SEWING MACHINES PLUS OR ARROW SEWING CABINETS!!!
Update based on their reply: Not only did they not attempt to call either myself or my wife, they have not replied to emails sent both to the store manager and salesperson. Arrow is finally attempting to resolve this after all the negative reviews of them I posted, but Sewing Machines Plus will never get my business again, especially after these lies.

I had thread that was lost in the mail
I had thread that was lost in the mail, a $60 order, post office was no help, I was told that you would replace the thread I talked to someone via email and they never followed through.
This happened roughly in the fall of 2025.
UPDATE: Please read! Sewing Machines Plus responded to this very quickly . I received all 4 spools of thread, even though the post office did send one that they found. I was very pleased with sewing machines Plus response. I am one happy customer. Thank you

Bought a scan and cut
Bought a scan and cut. Didn't even turn on. No customer support. Had to wait and wait for a call back. The one time someone called I was at work. Tried again and never got a call back. Washed my hand of everything and sent it back. And never looked back. I will not recommend this company.

The assistance I got when I called was outstanding
The assistance I got when I called Sewing Machines Plus was outstanding. I was just exploring a new coverstitch machine, but with no determination to actually buy one. The one I have has gotten very little use (primarily because threading it drives me crazy). I called this particular online store because they had both a new model and one that had gotten some use (and was of course less expensive). I was offered the new one for the price of the used one, and a couple of other deals. There was no pressure to buy. There was a lot of patience as I thought of question after question. The machine I was considering was an investment, and I had to think it through. The customer service was outstanding, the deal was great, and the offer of future help if I run into problems is most appreciated. I can't recommend this dealer highly enough.

The Juki came pre-threaded with a sample on the feed table. I simply tied on new serger threads and ran the machine till the knots worked their way though. It’s an amazing machine and it was shipped very quickly!
