After leaving it a little late to book…
After leaving it a little late to book our accommodation, I stumbled across Seek Sophie and I’m so glad we did. The booking process was easy, and they were very easy to contact on WhatsApp. The reminders before the trip always help to put your mind at ease, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. Would highly recommend using Seek Sophie

Booking with Seek Sophie was so easy and smooth!
We booked a 3D2N stay in Tanjung Puting (Indonesion Borneo), where we stayed on a Klotok (boat) for 2 nights. It was a magical experience.
Beforehand, we could message the tour company through the Seek Sophie website whenever we needed to, and they were very responsive.
We also loved that they put women and conservation at the front and centre of their ethos! Overall, I highly recommend!

We went on a 3-day
We went on a 3-day, 2-night boat trip through the jungles of Borneo. The experience was nothing short of magical.
The food and overall service on the boat were outstanding. Everyone was kind, helpful, and welcoming.
Our guide, Adin, had extensive knowledge about everything from plants and the history of orangutan rehabilitation in Borneo to the names and life stories of many of the orangutans we saw.
We would highly recommend that everyone travels to Borneo to have this experience and be sure to ask for the boat Selvar and the guide Adin.
The only thing we regret is not booking a longer trip.

SeekSophie: Helpful, but still tourists...
This was my first trip using SeekSophie. I booked three experiences through them. One experience I for sure would not have found if not through SeekSophie, and it was my favorite one...visiting a sea turtle conservation in Bali. I appreciate using SeekSophie to help out smaller/family owned businesses. But also, if you want honesty, some places are just really growing in tourism in SE Asia. The promise of skipping the tourist traps didn't actually seem to be my experience, but I also travelled in late June and early July--high and then peak season.

Hi Jessica, thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review and for being a repeat customer with us. We really appreciate that you have taken the chance on us.
We completely understand that it may seems like some places you visited were quite crowded and not exactly "off the tourist trail". At times, especially during the summer months of June-August, it's very difficult to avoid crowds in popular destinations in Indonesia. However, we do try to give our customers options to visit less crowded places in addition to the bucket list destinations, such as visiting a rare turtle sanctuary in Java in addition to visiting Mt Ijen and Mt Bromo or extend their Komodo stay an additional day beyond the more typical 3D2N option. The other thing we prioritise in these more popular destinations is working with really good guides that bring back the income to their communities.
Once again, we really appreciate your business and feedback. We will continue to do our best to find alternatives as it really matters to us personally that our customers have the best experience.
Great choices and easy to use!

Amazing experience at River Cruise- All thanks to SeekSophie
SeekSophie helped me get the last set of opening on the Kinabatangan river cruise. I have been trying to get the same since last one year but it was always completely filled. Thanks to seek sophie that not only i was able to get different options to choose, it also helped me get the right set of reviews and get the best experience. The entire process from booking to payments to pickup and drop was very smooth

Floating bungalow for the win
We loved our floating bungalow experience! I researched quite a few places and Seek Sophie had the best options for the best prices. They were easy to compare, and I was able to book the experience we wanted with a private guide and the bungalow that looked like what we would like. It was perfect (Except for the pouring rain, but they had no control over that haha). I would definitely recommend Seek Sophie for future travel!

I felt very confident in the guides provided through seeksophie and it is clear there has been a huge amount of effort behind this booking platform. All staff that we delt with were lovely.
